The big screen in the Stetford Family’s screening room quickly displayed new live footage.

This footage was clearly aerial drone footage taken from above.

It was still that Victorian colonial mansion, viewed from above, with the various turrets forming a distinct hexagram pattern.

Standalone villas abroad are generally two stories above ground with one underground level.

Larger ones have three stories above ground and one underground level.

The third floor of such types is typically the attic.

But the Blythe Family’s house has four floors above ground and one underground level, totaling five floors.

The fourth floor features small conical turrets protruding from the rooftop, distributed around it.

Vines climb around the windows of the small turrets, vibrant and green.

Looking like the tower where the princess is imprisoned in Western fairy tales, guarded by a dragon, waiting for a dragon-slaying hero.

To guard against lightning, even sharper lightning rods were installed atop the pointed roof.

Next, the footage from another drone switched in, clearly pulling down from above, then focusing on the balcony outside a small attic on the mansion’s top floor.

This balcony was very narrow, barely accommodating the space for three potted plants.

The frail Alice Blythe stood there; although her face was pixelated, her figure was still apparent, her white dress fluttering as if to fly away with the wind.

They only saw her standing on the high roof, holding a gun pointed at her temple.

The image was so tense that the screening room of the Stetford Family fell silent instantly.

Even Ruby Sheldon, who had been whining just moments ago, was stunned.

Those present at the Blythe Family’s site were even more shocked.

The eight contestants and the host, the guide, the Blythe couple, along with the morning caretakers and the gardener, all stood in the open space in front of the mansion, under the blooming climbing plant, looking up at Alice Blythe on the fourth-floor rooftop.

Mrs. Blythe screamed, her voice tearing and heart-wrenching, unable to stand, collapsing to the ground: ”...Alice! Alice! Don’t scare mom! Come down! Come down! Tell mom anything you want! Mom will give you anything! Even her life!”

Mr. Blythe hurriedly bent over to support her; together, their age approached a hundred, now looking like elders in their sixties.

Most parents in such situations would turn overnight into white-haired.

Lawrence Winters glanced at them, then squinted at Alice Blythe in front of the fourth-floor rooftop attic.

Her eyesight was much better than others, so she could clearly see Alice Blythe’s facial expression, very numb.

Yes, ”numb.”

She seemed not to hear Mrs. Blythe’s cries, not even blinking.

She just stood there, standing straight, holding the gun against her temple, seemingly ready to end her life any minute.

Lawrence Winters’s palm also began to sweat.

At this point, the host first regained composure, hurriedly saying: ”Call the police, call the police! This kind of issue has surpassed the scope of the Celestial Path Sect, and it’s not something we can solve!”

”You cannot call the police!” Mr. Blythe shouted sternly and immediately continued: ”Even calling the police can’t solve the problem!”

He looked at Lawrence Winters urgently and said: ”Great Heavenly Master Winters! Please! Save Alice! Save my daughter!”

These words reminded Mrs. Blythe, who practically crawled to Lawrence Winters’ feet, clutching her leg, crying out in agony: ”Great Heavenly Master Winters! Please take action, save my daughter! We... we’ve worked so hard, just to save her!”

Lawrence Winters actually didn’t know how to save Alice Blythe.

Honestly, Alice had a gun, and being so far away, Lawrence Winters felt that no matter how quick her body might be, it couldn’t be quicker than a bullet.

But the Blythe couple looked at her expectantly, just as if they were looking at their only hope.

Hope, like faith, can give people strength.

Parents’ love for their children can surmount any obstacle.

Just as Lawrence Winters hesitated, a car drove in behind her, parking in the nearby parking lot.

A man quickly ran over, shouting loudly: ”Alice! Alice! Don’t do anything stupid! Come down quickly!”

This man was none other than William, who had already gone to work.

Mr. Blythe suddenly looked up, and asked: ”How come you’re here?”

William said excitedly: ”The caretaker called me and said Alice was in trouble, so I came immediately. Uncle, let’s call the police! Alice is like this, you can’t keep believing in these spiritual charlatans!”
