Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 966: Chapter 464: When the Moon is Full, It Wanes; When Water is Full, It Overflows (First Update)

However, she was reluctant to admit she was the one who unveiled the hidden Feng Shui formation, so she came up with the idea of the ”Lotus Reincarnation” hidden geomantic formation.

Now that Mr. Zhuge asked her, her eyes flickered, and she laughed, saying: ”I got the inspiration from that kneeling doll.”

”... Please, enlighten me.”

Lawrence Winters waved his hand, ”No need to be so formal; I’ll tell you.”

She focused for a moment and said: ”Did you notice the attire and pose of that kneeling doll? She wears a brown top and a skirt with an outer shawl, which is the attire of the Jade Girl under the Three Pure Ones in the Celestial Path Sect.”

”As for the tray in her hand, it shouldn’t really hold those disposable toiletries, but rather the Green Lotus dedicated to the Three Pure Ones.”

”Ancient poets had a verse: ’Golden Boy holds purple medicine, Jade Girl offers green lotus,’ describing this exact scene.”

”And this kneeling doll is a vessel for Nightmare Town, which means ’Evade Victory’. But where is the Green Lotus she should be offering?”

After Lawrence Winters spoke, Gao Daoist and Wang Daoist suddenly realized.

”...So the Green Lotus she needs to offer is actually the hidden Reincarnation Lotus Array!”

Lawrence Winters nodded, ”That’s right, so it can precisely interconnect, forming an endlessly circulating system.”

”The kneeling doll needs the power of Nightmare Town, while the Reincarnation Lotus Array provides Nightmare Town with ever-flowing energy.”

”The two act together, potentially taking Miss Zhu’s life in no time...”

Coupled with the brainwashing melody continuously played through the earphones, she really might not wake up.

Lawrence Winters sneered slightly and did not continue speaking.

Mr. Zhuge sighed and said: ”It’s also Miss Zhu’s good fortune that we came to save her.”

Wang Daoist nodded, then looked at Mr. Zhuge with curiosity and said: ”Did Mr. Zhuge also notice the kneeling doll is the ’Jade Girl’ under the Three Pure Ones?”

Mr. Zhuge smiled, glanced at him, and shook his head, ”I didn’t think that far; I was examining the Feng Shui of the entire house.”

He stood up, walked to the window, gazed at the dark night outside, and said: ”A location’s geomantic formation needs to be considered in three aspects, which are Qi, Force, and Shape.”

”Qi is viewing the overall aura of the place.”

”Force is watching the direction and flow of the aura.”

”Shape is seeing the form when the aura and flow are combined.”

”Speaking of this house, its original aura is quite dangerous. If you investigate the original owner, you’ll find he was a Nazi from another country who escaped to this nation, yet still couldn’t avoid Mossad’s pursuit.”

”He died an untimely death, and the descendants lived here for several decades but eventually couldn’t maintain the house and sold it to the Zhu couple.”

”So, my master added a more ferocious brick road at the entrance, directly targeting the aura of this house, achieving a balancing effect.”

”But this balance also leaves traces.”

”Especially when their fortune improves, it means more transformed evil aura.”

”Yet, when the moon is full, it wanes; when the water is full, it overflows. The evil aura cannot wholly transform into fortune; the remaining portion of evil aura has developed until now and should affect the surrounding vegetation.”

”However, as we see, the surrounding trees and plants are lush and vibrant, showing no signs of decline or decay.”

”Thus, I deduce that the residual evil aura has been exploited to create a formation.”

”But using this evil aura to set a formation is perilous for the person arranging it.”

”If mishandled, it might backfire, affecting the entire family.”

”So if I were to set a hidden Feng Shui formation, utilizing the leftover evil aura over these years, how would I do it?”

Mr. Zhuge was considering the scenario by putting himself in the position.

”...The only thing I can think of is the Reincarnation Lotus Array. The Reincarnation Lotus Array has the ability to circulate and utilize fortune. This means its backlash won’t affect the one setting the formation; it will only impact the place itself.”

Lawrence Winters nodded and said: ”Mr. Zhuge’s thought process is entirely correct. Furthermore, the Reincarnation Lotus Array has another characteristic—it cycles aura regardless of its nature, but as long as you set a targeting mechanism, it can ’precisely strike’. ”

”That kneeling doll is the targeting mechanism! The precise target is Miss Zhu!” Wang Daoist rubbed his hands in excitement, thrilled, saying: ”That person must also be a master among the Thirteen Departments of Zhu! The Book Prohibition Department didn’t even elaborate on this content!”

He stood up, bowed to Lawrence Winters and then to Mr. Zhuge, saying: ”I’ve learned a lot today! Thank you both for your explanations!”

”You’re welcome.” Lawrence Winters and Mr. Zhuge said in unison.

The two glanced at each other, then each looked away.

Mr. Zhuge stood up, held up a finger, and said: ”Now we must verify if this hidden geomantic formation is indeed the Reincarnation Lotus Array.”
