Beneath the Red Dragon

The Lord of the Dark Nest, the legendary Mother of Spiders, Lord of Poison Shalos, given her significant sincerity by coming personally from the Western Continent, Karon would not maintain the airs of the Emperor of the Imperial and came personally to the West Hammer Coast of the Imperial.

The reasons behind wanting to shirk some responsibilities remain unknown to outsiders.

Other officials only know that the two Dragon Lords originally appointed as Plane Governor, about to take up their posts in other worlds, the Bronze Dragon Alina and the Forest Dragon Lord Antajena, were also forced to postpone their appointments.

”I always fail to understand why it dares to set foot in the Dragon Group Territory personally. Although it is a legendary lord, within the Imperial, its life is like a small boat on the Sea, subject to the Giant Dragon’s will as a storm, potentially overturning a small boat at any moment,”

White Dragon Gomot said softly, ”What’s more, even though the Zor under its control from the Dark Nest established friendly trade relations with the Imperial long ago, the Dark Nest’s stance towards the Imperial is worth pondering, according to the Elves.”

”Shalos then,” Karon pondered slightly, then said, ”Regardless of how complex a person’s motives are, they can be analyzed from a standpoint of gaining benefits. Though Shalos is a monster, once reaching beyond the realm of legend, it wouldn’t act purely based on instinctual desires like a normal monster.”

”As for the meeting with the Imperial, what interests it involves, I am unclear, perhaps it relates to internal changes within the Elf Kingdom,” Karon watched the ships coming and going on the sea, saying lightly.

White Dragon Gomot fell silent, gazing at the distant horizon over the sea, quietly thinking.

The geographic location of the harbor at the West Sea Hammer is excellent, and it has begun to develop in the mode of the Golden City.

Although due to the shortage of manpower, the coastal town has not been built into a giant city like other cities, there are many merchants and pirates coming and going.

Trade fleets dispatched by Civilized Realms on the Western Continent and some smuggling ships of pirates have also started traveling between the coasts, bringing considerable human traffic to the Imperial’s West Hammer.

At the deep-water port that remains ice-free throughout the year, numerous ocean-crossing merchant ships are docked, some sporting the flag of the Giant Dragon Kingdom, which belongs to the Imperial’s trade fleet.

After the Pirate Alliance entrenched in the Sea of Fury was crushed, many pirates from the Western Continent and pirates from the Northern Border South Sea Islands began extending their spheres of influence into the West Sea.

However, these pirates are not like those organized by the Southern Noble Economic Alliance Pirate Alliance that attempted to blockade the Imperial’s trade sea routes, instead they come for fencing goods and seeking shelter.

Although the Golden Empire does not attempt to incorporate all pirates into submission, some unruly pirates are unwilling to give up their bloodstained, overnight wealth lifestyles.

Yet, benefiting from the Golden Empire’s excellent reputation, as long as these pirates adhere to laws within the Imperial’s territory, they can possess temporary legal status.

Thus, this coastal town already possesses the enormous potential to actively drive economic development around the area, matching the initial trade ports established in the Dragon Group Territory.

In addition to these merchant ships and sea vessels, there are many fishing boats appearing across the Sea.

In the western Sea of Fury, there are many precious fishery resources. Compared to the heavily exploited seas of the Golden Coast, this sea area has become a new target for many fishermen.

Moreover, this sea area produces yellow croaker, tuna, dragon grouper, and various grouper, these delicious fish are favored by Imperial’s wealthy and officials, and even some sufficiently valuable deep-sea fish are exclusively purchased for the Dragon King Court.

For example, the Emperor Galaxy Grouper, originally named Leopard Galaxy Grouper, due to the Ancestral Red Dragon’s fondness, coastal fishermen started calling it Emperor Galaxy.

Though Karon now expels enormous energy daily, without undergoing a complete transformation akin to the Divine Spirit thoroughly altering the material body structure, he also needs to consume abundantly to maintain physical strength and energy for activities.

And to obtain substantial nutrients from food to facilitate the growth and development of his body.

Now, Karon needs to consume at least six adult White-horned Wild Oxen daily, alongside hundreds of kilograms of fish and a large quantity of rare minerals measured in hundreds of pounds, including precious Magic Gemstones.

Thanks to the allegiance of the Naga, personnel capable of mining the Magic Gemstone veins deep in the sea are now available. Besides occasional solemn protests from the Tidal Giants towards the Naga’s substantial mining activity, there are hardly any disturbances.

The initial intention of the Tidal Giants to jointly split the Shahua Fishman Kingdom territory with the Deep Sea Naga was also forced to abandon after the Naga allied with the Imperial; these Tidal Giants have yet to harbor intentions of fully opposing the Golden Empire.

And grown Trees of Life throughout each city in the Empire have begun significant resource production since reaching their peak.

Under exploration by the Imperial Magic Research Department, it has been decided to provide the fruits of the Tree of Life as routine supply for the Emperor of the Imperial.

The Magic Research Department even had Elf Druids communicate with the Trees of Life, formulating the lifecycle plan for fruit production. They requested these Trees of Life adhere strictly to the plan to grow fruit, assuring the Imperial’s Dragon Emperor sees one Life Tree Fruit on his table every two months.

Ensuring the most comprehensive development and growth for the Imperial’s Dragon Emperor, and the best growth conditions for the Dragon Group is the Imperial’s primary task, far exceeding in political governance.
