Beneath the Red Dragon

A column after column of warriors, tall and strong, bearing the power to conquer the world and destroy cities, stepped out from the towering Royal Court.

On the left were Storm Giant Warriors clad in armor engraved with runes, holding colossal steel forks and silver halberds, like Divine Warriors enforcing justice beside gods from legends.

Yet these Storm Giants were not as laid-back as other giants; they stood in a vertical line akin to elite Legion Warriors before the Royal Court.

Beneath their face armor, their eyes concealed thunder and storms, standing solemnly, watching each arriving guest. The lightning and storm marks on the helmets of these Thunder Guards were gripped in the claw of dragons.

The Storm Thunder Guard Corps, the eternal Guardians by the side of the Ancestral Red Dragon, along with the Golden Guard, were hailed as the two most powerful armies of the Empire, even more scarce than the Forbidden Guards.

Because the warriors of the Storm Thunder Guard Corps are purebred Storm Giants, naturally possessing immense potential, whether continuing to grow or undergoing the Empire’s genetic modification.

The appearance of these Storm Giants has already exerted heavy pressure on the Elf Delegation and Nagas.

Their massive physique and hidden strength could even slay any Four-armed Naga in one strike, and no Elf Guard could survive under the hands of these Giant Legions.

Yet the warriors of the Golden Guard Corps lined up on the right brought a sense of fear to the Nagas and Elves.

This doesn’t mean the Golden Guards are stronger than the Thunder Guard Corps.

For now, there are only fresh recruits among the Golden Guards.

The ceremony for Golden Guards to become the last stage of the Forbidden Guard isn’t a trial of life and death, nor is it a pledge of loyalty to the Emperor of the Imperial, but rather ascending the mountain to become guardians of the Dragon King Court.

This is a ritual of honor and the highest accolade, signifying that these Guards truly become the Emperor of the Imperial’s personal guards.

However, because these Guards are all fresh recruits, except for the leading Imperial Guard Captain.

This also implies that some raw, indelible aggression in the recruits may be even more blatant than in the veterans.

No fear, no mercy, no weakness, only courage and loyalty! They are the Emperor’s sharpest claws, his most faithful weapons, hunting down all rebellious factions.

Each Golden Guard wears armor so heavy that the Nagas and Elves cannot fathom, providing these warriors unparalleled physical defense.

The force field runes and magic badges on the armor grant these warriors unrivaled magic resistance.

And the Horse-Slaying Heavy Blade of the Golden Guards, with its runes emitting the decomposition magic field, stings the eyes of every Naga and Elf.

These Nagas and Elves cannot imagine what kind of sharp weapons they would need to break through the armor worn by the Emperor’s Guards.

What formidable defense they would need to withstand the attacks of the Emperor’s Guards.

Nagas are matriclan, and among the Naga race, the potential and physique of female Nagas are taller than male Nagas.

Even the strongest female Naga here, Divine Favor Eight-armed Naga Jaluun of the Eternal Tide Tribe, appears as a dwarf before these Golden Guards.

Though size means nothing before extraordinary power, and these Golden Guards can never defeat the Divine Favored Naga in single combat, Jaluun still doubts her survival, even escape, when facing the united Golden Guards.

To solely bear armor weighing hundreds of kilograms and wield weapons of similar weight at supersonic speeds, running and leaping like the wind — here are one hundred such warriors.

The dissatisfaction on the faces and in the hearts of all Nagas vanished completely at this moment.

For most races in the world respect power over virtue!

Only naked strength and absolute violence can suppress them.

”Ladies and gentlemen, the Imperial Court has arrived, the honored Dragon Kings and Lords await your visit,” Storm Giant Garcia spoke with pride on his resolute outline and solemnly said.

The Naga Queen silently observed the expression of the Storm Giant, feeling the emotions hidden in the warriors’ silence; she realized each warrior takes pride in this, as an invisible aura unfurls from them.

”Even without the times of war, to easily gather a legion-like will? Truly terrifying!” The Naga Queen remained silent.

Amid the deep corridors, loud echoes resonated as giant doors opened, presenting the palace gates of the Emperor to the guests.

”Honored guests, please enter, the noble dragons await your visit,” Charlize performed a polite gesture to the Elf Delegation.

Thus, Elf Princess Agani led the Elf Delegation, merging for the first time with the Nagas, passing through the deep yet softly illuminated corridors, past the giant dragon statues roaring with wings spread in front of the Royal Court, stepping into the gates of the Dragon King Court.

An extreme contrast in the eyes of these Nagas and Elves, akin to the unparalleled style of the dragon civilization unique in the world.

The perimeter of the Royal Court was stern and solemn, with formidable guards and cold armor shine.

But the interior of the Royal Court was filled with a gentle atmosphere, where scents of food, tea, and wine mixed with the aroma of sandalwood and the fragrance of maids’ perfumes.

The atmosphere inside the Royal Court was exceptionally relaxed, resonating with cheerful songs and soft murmurs.
