Chapter 2204: Inevitable Clash?

Tang Shaoyang slowly turned to the voice. A figure wearing a similar white robe, with the Sword Manor’s people, descended. A man who looked in his mid-thirties with eyes as sharp as a sword. His long hair was tied, and twelve swords were engraved on the back of his robe.

With a single glance, Tang Shaoyang could tell this person might be the strongest cultivator he had met. What was more surprising was the fact that he knew his status as Executive Administrator. It meant the Sword Manor followed what happened outside the Sacred Realm.

He was not alone, as there were five people behind him. The sword on their back truly signified their status as the five people following him had seven or eight swords on their backs.

”I am Tian Zhong, the Patriarch of the Sword Manor.”

”Since you know who I am, does that mean you will take your men back?”

They knew his identity, so he didn’t bother with the introduction.

”Yes. This is just a misunderstanding between my people. Most likely because the information we pay for is late. I apologize for the inconvenience, Executive Administrator Tang Shaoyang.”

Tian Zhong nodded. His voice was firm, yet it carried power with it.

”Then it’s fine. You can bring your men back after their fight is over.”

He promised his spirit a fight, so it would be awkward to pull back right now. He didn’t order them to kill the Sword Manor’s people anyway, so they should be fine. However, one of the people behind Tian Zhong reacted. He was about to say something, but Tian Zhong stopped the man.

”That will be a good experience for them. The Sacred Realm has been too peaceful for too long, after all. Let them experience the powerhouse from the God Realm.”

A booming sound resounded from the other side of the mountain. The ground shook and cracked. That caught the people from the Sword Manor off guard. They all looked in the same direction, including Tian Zhong.

Since it was a fight between spirits, they could not find the energy from the spirit. But they could tell that a battle took place on the other side of the mountain.

At the same time, Tang Shaoyang summoned Avyn, Zara, and Vandir. The Death King seemed to be in the middle of something else during the summon, as evidenced by the white lab coat and the mask it wore.

”Watch them for me. I will send you back once I finalize the stuff over there.”

Tang Shaoyang didn’t wait for Vandir to respond, as he had already disappeared. He was not going to listen to the skeleton’s ramble.

Three out of five people behind Tian Zhong were about to follow Tang Shaoyang. However, Tian Zhong quickly stopped his men.

”Don’t follow him!”

”But Patriarch—”

Tian Zhong shook his head, ”Don’t do anything stupid.”

”But we need to investigate what he is doing in our world, Patriarch. He is still an outsider regardless of his status outside the Sacred Realm. We can’t let him destroy the Sacred Realm.”

Tian Zhong glanced at Wang Jun. He knew what Wang Jun tried to do. It was to pay back the humiliation he received when they met an Executive Administrator back in the God Realm. It seemed Wang Jun hadn’t forgotten the incident that happened years ago.

”Haven’t you learned your lesson, Wang Jun?”

Wang Jun’s face turned ugly once he was reminded of the incident. It was not Tang Shaoyang who humiliated him, but he wanted to tell the Administrator, especially the Executive Administrator, that the old Wang Jun they humiliated had grown stronger by beating one of their own. This was his chance, might be the only chance.

”I have learned my lesson. That was why I dedicated my life to the sword for years. It’s time to put all my hard work and training into action, Patriarch. Let me fight that Executive Administrator.”

As Wang Jun finished his words, a clacking noise resounded there. It was faint, but it was very faint to the expert’s ears. They turned toward the sound and found a skeleton wearing a full mask-like helmet laughing.

”What’s so funny, you damn skeleton!” Wang Jun raised his voice, filled with anger as he felt the mockery directed toward him.

”It’s funny that you think you can win against my master. To win against my master, you must win against us, and I don’t see you winning against one of those knights, let alone my master.”

Vandir pointed at Gianni and Jovrick, specifically those two knights who were currently enjoying their battle.

”As for these two...” He pointed at the two girls who paid no attention to the Sword Manor. They had been watching the fight instead since they were summoned. They never took a glance at the Sword Manor at all.

”You will die without being able to put all your training into action. They are just that strong,” Vandir clacked even harder, ”As for me... I like toying with my opponent, so you might survive longer.”

Wang Jun’s face turned red from anger. His hand was reaching for his sword as Tian Zhong realized that he might not be able to stop Wang Jung from drawing his hand after such a cheap provocation.

”That’s enough, Vandir. You can return and continue with your research... or whatever you are doing.”

Vandir clacked in disappointment as he almost goaded Wang Jun into attacking him. He might have had fun while waiting, but Tang Shaoyang returned in time.

He faced Tian Zhong and the Sword Manor’s people, ”I don’t care what issue you have against the other Executive Administrators. Don’t involve me in your past. I already have too many things in my hand.”

This Sword Manor seemed to be active in the God Realm, and they might be part of an alliance. He didn’t want to draw another enemy into his already full plate.

”Then call the skeleton back and tell him to apologize to me for his rude remark.”

Then a red figure landed next to Tang Shaoyang with a boom. Karan made his grand entrance while resting the axe on his shoulder. He scanned the people from the Sword Manor.

”Are they my next opponent? That lion is quite fierce and fun, but this one might be stronger.”

”Don’t be greedy, Karan. You already have your share. If we fight them, it should be me who fights him,” Zara quickly responded to the red-skinned monster. The person in their conversation was, of course, Tian Zhong, not Wang Jun.

”Get it done, guys,” Tang Shaoyang didn’t like where this was going. He might have to fight the Sword Manor if he stayed longer. He ordered his spirits to finish their fight.

It looked like they were all on a par, but it was just them savoring the fight. They matched their opponent’s power and enjoyed the fight. The fight was like entertainment for their boring spirit lives, who had to stay in the Spirit Worlds for weeks without fighting.

However, the moment they received the order, the scale of the battle changed. The well-matched fight took a sudden turn, and less than thirty seconds later, the nine cultivators were thrown right in front of the Sword Manor Patriarch.

What happened caught them off guard. Even Tian Zhong was shocked that his men were beaten so easily. He also paid attention to the fight that was closer to them. He genuinely thought they were equal and did not expect Tang Shaoyang’s people to hold back.

”Take your people back with you! I still have some unfinished business here. I would appreciate it if you would leave me alone.”

Wang Jun stepped forward and drew his sword, directing it toward Tang Shaoyang and his spirits.

Tian Zhong was still shocked that he failed to stop Wang Jun from drawing the sword. The moment he realized what had happened, he unleashed his aura. His aura filled with authority and sharp like a sword.

However, Wang Jun endured the aura, and his eyes showed it all: his determination to fight Tang Shaoyang. He was not going to miss the only chance to repay the humiliation. Maybe he could draw the person who humiliated him if he defeated or even killed the new Executive Administrator.

”This man is dangerous, Patriarch. We can’t leave him alone. We must investigate him thoroughly. Especially what he is doing on this mountain. Song Wei’s report mentioned a pile of dead bodies. We must investigate the issue at the root before it’s too late!

”So... Are you going to kill all dangerous people? You have a rough path ahead of you...”

Tang Shaoyang chuckled. He knew everything this man said was just an excuse, a justification to fight him, but he still found it funny.

”Move aside! Let me fulfill his wish!”

Tang Shaoyang took out his Azure Dragon Blade. At the same time, he opened the ninth and sixth Heavenly Gate. The Heavenly White Tiger and the Heavenly Azure Dragon materialized behind him. He was in the stance of Heavenly Sword - Heavenly Revoke as the two heavenly beasts fused into his sword.
