Chapter 348, Did I Say You Could Leave?

While Lu Fan and Andrei were chatting happily in the villa’s living room, there was another knock at the door.

Lu Fan thought it strange. [Usually, no one would visit the villa except Senior Sister. Why are there so many guests today?]

He asked Andrei to wait for a moment in the living room while he went to open the door.

After opening the door, Lu Fan saw a handsome young man standing there, dressed in ancient Dragon Country long robes.

Although this world had a variety of clothing styles, it was still rare to find someone wearing such ancient attire. Generally, such clothing was only worn on special occasions.

Lu Fan paused for a moment before asking. “Who are you looking for?”

Loong Xing closed his folding fan, clasped his hands together and smiled. “I am Loong Xing, here to see Ye Wuxian.”

“Looking for Senior Sister?” Lu Fan was not too surprised to see someone who looked like they had Transmigrated from ancient times. After all, Ye Wuxian had told him before that in Dragon Country, some Ancient Noble Family maintained ancient Dragon Country traditions and way of life.

These Ancient Noble Families had unfathomable power, far beyond what ordinary Noble Families could compare to. Therefore, when meeting someone wearing ancient Dragon Country attire and following ancient etiquette, one should be cautious. Behind such a person, there might be a powerful Force!

Lu Fan knew that since Senior Sister was aware of things unknown to ordinary people, her background must have some connections to these Ancient Noble Families.

Thinking about how at such a young age, she was already a Fourth Profession Player and wealthy enough to rival a country, Lu Fan had no doubts that she also hailed from an Ancient Noble Family.

Now that someone possibly from an Ancient Noble Family had come looking for Ye Wuxian, Lu Fan naturally did not think much of it and called upstairs. “Senior Sister, someone’s here for you.”

Soon, her voice came from upstairs. “Coming. Who is it, could it be Vice Principal Zhao? I’ve already finished all the work I had…”

Ye Wuxian came downstairs quickly, but when she was halfway down and saw Loong Xing at the door, she suddenly froze, her expression immediately falling.

“Loong Xing!? Why are you here!?” Ye Wuxian continued to move downstairs, but at a much slower pace now, clearly guarded against the visitor.

Seeing this, Lu Fan instinctively took a step back. [So… this isn’t an ally?]

“Hehe.” Loong Xing opened his fan and gently waved it, smiling. “If I didn’t come, next time, it would be Huang Yutian who comes. You wouldn’t want him to come, would you? After all, this is Dragon Capital University, and you’re the Principal. If he were to cause trouble here, it wouldn’t look good for you, right?”

At the mention of ‘Huang Yutian’, Ye Wuxian’s expression grew even darker.

After several seconds of silence, Ye Wuxian coldly asked. “So? What do you want to discuss with me?”

Loong Xing smiled and said. “Actually, it’s nothing much. I just want to discuss the future allocation of some of your Ye Family resources. The Huang Family has seized too many of your Ye Family’s assets. To be honest, we of the Loong Family can’t stand to watch this. The Ye Family helped our Loong Family in the past, so naturally, we won’t stand idly by while the Huang Family is so obscenely taking advantage of your Family. Therefore, I hope you’ll seriously consider what I mentioned before.”

“Our two Families, the Loong and Ye, merged into one. Surely the Huang Family will no longer dare to keep making things difficult for the Ye Family then. I am here to ask why are you holding out?”

Ye Wuxian sneered. “Let my Ye Family become a Subordinate Family to your Loong Family? Would your Loong Family have dared to say this a year ago?”

Loong Xing’s smile did not diminish. “Times have changed. A year ago we wouldn’t have dared, but now, what does it matter if I say it in front of you!?”

“You…” Ye Wuxian clenched her fists, clearly furious.

Not just Ye Wuxian, even Lu Fan narrowed his eyes.

Though Loong Xing appeared refined and cultured, like an elegant scholar, his words were anything but that.

From their conversation, Lu Fan could guess at some of their grievances.

Lu Fan had thought that when Ye Wuxian returned to Dragon Capital University, she must have resolved all her Family issues. Now, it was clear that was not the case. Otherwise, the other party would not have come to Dragon Capital University and act so aggressively.

Seeing Ye Wuxian gritting her teeth but unable to speak, Loong Xing became even more arrogant, his smile deepening. “Ye Wuxian, I heard your Ye Family has declared a truce, but you haven’t found anyone willing to help your Ye Family. Our three Families have an agreement – when there’s friction between the three Ancient Noble Families, any Family has the right to avoid conflict for two months. But after two months, all issues must be settled completely, with no delays.”

“Right now, your Ye Family has avoided settling for about a month. You have less than a month left. Can you find someone to support your Ye Family during that time? If you can’t, I think you should really consider my suggestion. After all, the Huang Family will completely devour your Ye Family, unlike us from the Loong Family. Becoming a Subordinate Family to our Loong Family would mean that at the very least, your Ye Family would be able to survive, right?”

“You…” Ye Wuxian was so angry she could barely speak one word before breaking into violent coughs.

Lu Fan quickly went to support her. “Senior Sister, are you alright?”

“It’s nothing, just an old injury flaring up.” Ye Wuxian waved her hand, her face pale, with traces of blood at the corners of her mouth.

Seeing this scene, Lu Fan’s eyes narrowed, murderous intent spreading in his heart.

“When did you get this old injury? Why did you not tell me about this?” Lu Fan’s tone also grew cold.

Ye Wuxian saw Lu Fan’s concern for her and tried to force a smile, However, Loong Xing at the door laughed. “Hehe, I almost forgot, the internal injury Huang Yutian left on you isn’t something that can heal in just a month! My apologies for aggravating your injury, I really didn’t mean to.”

Though he said this, his expression clearly showed it was intentional.

Perhaps in his view, aggravating the injury left by Huang Yutian would make Ye Wuxian recall the terror of being dominated by Huang Yutian. This way, Ye Wuxian should carefully consider the Ye Family’s future path.

Having achieved his goal, Loong Xing smiled, took a step back, and said. “Well, you’re not feeling well, so I won’t demand an answer now.”

“I see that your Dragon Capital University has nice scenery. So I’ll go sit by the lake over there, giving you two hours to think about it. I’ll leave in two hours. During this time, if you want to discuss the Ye Family’s future with me, feel free to come find me.”

“I won’t disturb you further then. Take a good rest and think about it.”

With that, Loong Xing leisurely turned around, apparently to head toward the pavilion by the large lake nearby.

However, as soon as he moved, Lu Fan questioned. “Stop right there. Did I say you could leave!?”
