Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 341, Fifth Profession Change, Power Close to Divinity

Translator: Silavin

Generally speaking, after Level 90 having their Fourth Profession Change, the Experience Points needed for each Level Up were as vast as an ocean, making every Level as difficult as climbing to Heaven.

Scholars speculate that following the pattern of being able to have a Profession Change every thirty Levels, one should be able to undergo their Fifth Profession Change at Level 120.

However, among the known Fourth Profession Players, most were only in their nineties, unable to break through the Level 100 barrier, let alone reach Level 120.

So, whether Level 100 was the limit of Humans, or if it was possible to break through Level 100 and reach Level 120 for one’s Fifth Profession Change, it remained a mystery.

Or rather, it just remained a mystery to ordinary people.

There were already Players who have understood the secrets of Fifth Profession Change, and some may have even already achieved it.

Lu Fan had never thought too deeply about this topic, but now, the Principal’s words gave him a vague understanding of the Fifth and subsequent Profession Changes.

When Lu Fan mentioned ‘Fifth Profession Change’, the Principal nodded slightly, not concealing anything. “Fifth Profession Change isn’t a myth, but really exists. Moreover, Extremistis Country already has Fifth Profession Players. Players of this Level no longer limit their view to individual countries. They only care about the control of resources they require. These people also don’t easily show themselves.”

“However, once they appear, the world will be turned upside down! The commotion you’ve caused in Extremistis Country has already approached their bottom line. If it were another city, it might be different, but this is Extremistis Country’s Capital. If you really level this place, you are going to provoke these formidable Players.”

“At that time…” She paused, solemnly stressing, “It would require Dragon Country’s Three Elders to step forward together to settle this matter.”

Lu Fan narrowed his eyes. He had indeed planned on Levelling Overseeing Heaven City, giving Extremistis Country a harsh slap in the face.

But if what the Principal said was true, and Extremistis Country really had such Hidden Forces, then as a Second Profession Player, he would be in considerable danger.

If it were ordinary Fourth Profession Players, Lu Fan need not fear them. But what if there really were Fifth Profession Players?

Lu Fan did not understand them well enough just yet. However, rumor had it they possessed power close to Divinity, and to match them, he believes he would at least need to wait until his Pet Dragons reached Adulthood.

Lu Fan knew better than to be reckless; he understood the principle of knowing when to advance and retreat.

He had already accomplished all of his goals. Retreating now would not be a bad idea. [Take the profit and limit the losses. Once Extremistis Country’s Hidden Forces show themselves, I might truly be unable to return to Dragon Country.]

This decision was not difficult for Lu Fan to make.

However, this did not mean he would not return.

When Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons reached Adulthood and he had the qualifications to fight against Divinity, he would definitely return to trample over Overseeing Heaven City. He was going to finish what  he started. At that point, why not force out those Fifth Profession Players? He could turn them all into Fallen Corpse Puppets!

Thinking of this, Lu Fan nodded and said. “Alright, I’ll listen to you and leave. Since you’ve put it that way, today’s excitement ends here. I’ll let them off the hook for now.”

Hearing this, the Principal did not know whether to laugh or cry.

A Second Profession Player was saying he was letting an entire country off the hook. If this got out, it would surely invite roaring laughter.

Still, the current situation was indeed as such. Without Extremistis Country’s Fifth Profession Players, Lu Fan might really be able to turn this whole country upside down.

The Principal heaved a long sigh, then said. “Since that’s settled, I’ll take you away from here right now. Earlier, when looking for you, I went to the entrance of the Death Desert Ocean and left a Transport Array there. I can transport you and the others back to the Death Desert Ocean.”

“Besides me, the Griffin Legion sent by the Northern Marquis also came to Extremistis Country. They should be reaching the Divine Bone Forest soon enough, They can pick up all of you up there.”

After a pause, the Principal cautioned. “By the way, don’t spread a word about everything you’ve done in Extremistis Country during this period of time. If Extremistis Country questions you later, just say…”

Lu Fan smiled and said. “I’ll say I was trapped in the Divine Bone Forest and I never left. Naturally, I only survived because the Griffin Legion had made it in time to rescue me.”

“Hehe, clever!” The Principal nodded with satisfaction.

Lu Fan was not a fool. Since his revenge had blown up to such huge proportions, and he never had personally appeared in front of the public, having Nine Hell Demons take the blame would be the best course of action.

This way, he could purposely distance himself from the matter and not give Extremistis Country any leverage in seeking retribution against him.

Towns and cities were destroyed, with many displaced and injured. Due to such a tragedy, they might reach out for humanitarian assistance. At that point, he would be able to use his Dragons to provide humanitarian aid.

If they wanted to point the finger at him at that point, and demand compensation, could they do so? It could easily be taken as slander. After all, he was at the Death Desert Ocean Dungeon Instance, which was attacked by Heretical Sects.

Chased by Heretical Sects into the Divine Bone Forest, he could not have possibly had the time to cause trouble in Extremistis Country. So, those that caused all that mayhem in Extremistis Country must have been the Heretical Sects! After all, even the dead Nine Hell Demons appeared! This must be a Skill only the Heretical Sects could master, right?

This was exactly the result Lu Fan wanted to see.

Regarding the deaths of Dragon Capital University’s teachers and Dragon Country Guards, Extremistis Country would surely use the ‘Heretical Sects’ as an excuse to deflect. They certainly would not be able to reveal the truth.

In that case, Lu Fan might as well use the same excuse against them, striking back the government with a heavy blow!

This was just the basics of revenge. Payback a thousand times what he had received. Lu Fan wants to see who hurts more at the end, and who further regrets their actions!

At this moment, Lu Fan suddenly thought of a question and asked. “Principal, just curious, how did you know I was in Overseeing Heaven City? You specifically chased after me from the Death Desert Ocean Dungeon Instance, right?”

The Principal smiled and explained. “When I saw the Nine Hell Demons Army attacking Extremistis Country’s towns and cities on the way to the Death Desert Ocean, I knew you must have escaped danger. I could tell you were already starting to take revenge. Logically, since you weren’t in danger, the next step would definitely be to target the main ones responsible for this whole operation. Since the Five National Guardians, God Destroyer Legion and God Annihilator Legion have all been killed, there was only one essential target left for you to eliminate. That would be the Jin Family in Overseeing Heaven City. Knowing all this, I came all the way here. I just made it in time to stop you from going too far.”

“Principal, you really understand me too well.” Lu Fan scratched his head and smiled.

She quickly asked. “Alright, enough talk. Recall your Summon and come with me. By the way, where are the others who came with you?”

“They’re waiting for me at a hostel in Overseeing Heaven City. We can go find them and take them along with us.” Lu Fan said.

The Principal nodded. “En, then let’s go find Han Ke and the others.”

The Principal was about to use Flight to follow Lu Fan to find Han Ke and the others. However, Lu Fan smiled and took something out of his Inventory to hand over to her. “Wait a moment.”

“Before we go find my Auntie and the others, I need to give this to you first. This is the gift I promised to bring back for you. I can finally hand it over to you now.”
