Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 340, The Hidden Force Behind Extremistis Country

Translator: Silavin

“Now, it’s time to send you on your way,” Lu Fan raised his sword, its blade wreathed in Dragon Qi, an the Effect from Xiao Cui’s Jade Blessing Skill.

With Xiao Cui’s Dragon Qi Enhancement plus Lu Fan’s Attributes, killing Jin Zaian with one sword strike would not be a problem.

Seeing Lu Fan about to kill him, Jin Zaian knew his death was inevitable.

The fear of death made him reckless, and he glared at Lu Fan, cursing, “You’ve caused such chaos in Extremistis Country. Do you really think you’ll have a good ending? My country’s foundation is far more terrifying than you can imagine! You’ve killed so many from the Jin Family. Someone will avenge us…”

“How annoying!” Lu Fan sneered, swinging his sword.

With that one swing, Jin Zaian’s head fell, and silence returned.

Lu Fan soon flicked the blood from his blade before sheathing it.

Now that he had killed everyone he wanted to kill, his revenge against Extremistis Country had come to and end. He had basically achieved his goal.

Next, Lu Fan planned to continue ‘wandering’ through Extremistis Country, directly setting this country’s strength back thirty years.

[Since you used your entire country to blocked me here, preventing me from returning to my home, then I’ll comply and won’t leave so easily! Let’s see who suffers more – you or me!]

Right now, he was considering to farm for their Monsters, take their resources, or continue the massacre?

As for when to return, Lu Fan had not really decided upon it.

Either wait until he or his Auntie really wanted to return, or until Dragon Country sent their men to Extremistis Country to bring them back.

Before then, Lu Fan would continue making things difficult for Extremistis Country.

Just as Lu Fan was pondering over this, two Squads of Imperial Guards came charging from afar, targeting Lu Fan.

These two Squads had been sent earlier to suppress the chaos caused by the Nine Hell Demons throughout Overseeing Heaven City.

But now, with the Nine Hell Demons’ rampage being uncontrollable, and Lu Fan’s Bone Dragon having nearly levelled the Jin Family Palace, these Imperial Guards had hurriedly returned, hoping to capture Lu Fan, the instigator.

All Lu Fan felt was disdain for them though. Lu Fan just planned to order the Divine Bone Clone to kill them. He did not want to leave evidence that everything in Extremistis Country was his doing.

Since these Imperial Guards had seen him, they had to die.

However, just as Lu Fan was about to order the Bone Dragon to act, the sky suddenly lit up. Lu Fan looked up to see a flaming whirlwind sweeping in from somewhere.

Such a powerful Skill indicated that this was done by a Fourth Profession Player!

[Does Extremistis Country have another Fourth Profession Player!?] Lu Fan frowned a little. He was about to order the Divine Bone Clone to drag this Fourth Profession Player out of hiding. That was when he saw this flaming whirlwind was not aimed at him, but rather at the charging Imperial Guards.

The flames instantly engulfed the Imperial Guard, and after brief agonised screams, they all fell, leaving no survivors.

This scene left Lu Fan stunned.

He really had not expected the Fourth Profession Player to target the Imperial Guards rather than him.

[Could this be an ally? But where would I have allies in Extremistis Country?] As Lu Fan pondered over this, he saw a figure rapidly flying through the night sky, holding a staff with its tip burning with raging flames like a torch.

In an instant, this person flew to stop not far from Lu Fan.

Upon seeing this person, Lu Fan was first stunned, then surprised and delighted: “Principal!?”

The person wore a Mage Robe, with a cloak hiding her face, and held the Heaven Incinerator Staff. This was undoubtedly the Principal.

After landing, the Principal pointed her staff at the Bone Dragon and said. “Control your Summon. I’ve already fought with your Sturdy Hell Demon once before. This Bone Dragon seems even stronger than the Sturdy Hell Demon, so I don’t want to fight against it.”

Lu Fan smiled and quickly ordered the Divine Bone Clone, which was eager to attack the Principal, to stay put.

Seeing the Bone Dragon calm down, the Principal slowly walked forward, saying to Lu Fan. “I was worried you might be in danger in Extremistis Country, so I fought my way through their border to find you.”

“But now…” She looked at the chaos in Overseeing Heaven City, her tone full of amusement. “Seems like I should have been more worried about Extremistis Country than you.”

Speaking thus far, her gaze fell on the corpse beside Lu Fan, her tone showing surprise. “You killed Jin Zaian? And Jin Family’s second strongest, Jin Qingxing, as well as the two Jin Family Palace Stewards!?”

After a pause, the Principal shook her head with a wry smile. “I fear if I had come any later, you would have flattened all of Overseeing Heaven City…”

Lu Fan smiled and said. “Thank you, Principal, for coming all this way to save me. But you’re right. Not only am I fine, but Extremistis Country has suffered instead. As for flattening Overseeing Heaven City… I actually did have that idea.”

The Principal remained silent for a while before speaking. “You really are reckless.”

“Alright, recall all your Summons. You’ve caused enough commotion in Extremistis Country. If you really flatten Overseeing Heaven City, you might not make it out of Extremistis Country alive.”

“Why do you say that?” Lu Fan asked, confused. “Does Extremistis Country have other powerful Players?”

Logically speaking, Fourth Profession Players were already top-tier combatants in this world.

While Jin Zaixi might not be Extremistis Country’s strongest, those who could defeat him could be counted on one hand.

Lu Fan now had the Nine Hell Demons, Five National Guardians, Divine Bone Clone, and even six Pet Dragons. He was confident he could overwhelm ten Jin Zaixis working together.

It was only because of this that Lu Fan dared to act so arrogantly in Extremistis Country. It was only because he had the ability to, that he dared to cause such a huge disturbance in their Capita. He believes that unless Extremistis Country mobilised their entire nation’s power to kill him like a Boss, he could move through Extremistis Country unopposed.

However, the Principal’s next words completely changed Lu Fan’s understanding of this world.

“There are certainly stronger, much stronger Players.” The Principal said. “This world is vast, with unexplored areas making up nine-tenths of the world. Even in Human society, the world that ordinary people knows and understand is only one-tenth of its true scope. In this world, the top experts on the surface are Fourth Profession Players, that is true. But the Forces hidden in the shadows don’t even consider Fourth Profession Players worthy of note.”

Hearing this, Lu Fan’s eyes narrowed. “Principal, are you saying Extremistis Country has Fifth Profession Players!?”

The Fourth Profession meant developing a Profession’s Characteristics to the extreme.

While Fifth Profession would mean touching the threshold of Divinity, gaining power approaching that of the Gods.

Lu Fan had only heard scholars theorise about the existence of the Fifth Profession. He had never heard or seen anyone achieve their Fifth Profession.
