Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 335, I’ll Twist Off His Head and Take a Piss!

Translator: Silavin

Their ruler was massacring his own guards. This was quite an interesting sight.

If Jin Zaixi still retained his consciousness and saw this scene, he would probably regret everything. Regret why he had to provoke Lu Fan.

Lu Fan smiled, not planning to waste any time with the Palace Guards.

He flapped the Flying Dragon King’s Bone Wings, about to continue towards Jin Zaian’s location. But just as he moved, a giant fireball rose from within the palace towards Lu Fan.

Seeing this, Lu Fan did not dodge at all, merely having Jade Shield casted on himself.

This giant fireball must have been a Skill released by a Fourth Profession Mage that has mastery over fire. It was an extremely powerful attack.

But no matter how powerful, it could only break through one of his numerous Jade Shields, so Lu Fan was not afraid in the slightest.

As the flames and Jade Shield cancelled each other out, Lu Fan looked up to see an elderly Mage with white hair using Flight to approach from the palace’s inner courtyard. The fireball was his handiwork.

Seeing his fireball so easily neutralized by Lu Fan’s Skill, without the boy even trying to dodge, the Old Mage’s expression turned ugly.

At the same time, another figure appeared with several leaps, reaching the roof of a building near the Old Mage.

This person was also elderly, wearing tattered Flexible Armour, with a rusty sword that looked like it had been sealed away for many years.

Although these two appeared aged, their auras revealed they were definitely Fourth Profession Players, only slightly inferior to the Five National Guardians. Nevertheless, absolutely top-tier combatants.

After these two appeared, they first saw Jin Zaixi massacring the Palace Guards. In regards to this, their expressions changed slightly, but they were not too surprised.

As upper echelons of the Jin Family, they naturally already knew their ruler, Jin Zaixi, had met with an unfortunate fate. Seeing him appear here as a Monster, slaughtering their men, did not surprise them.

Subsequently, both their gazes landed on Lu Fan.

Without doubt, Lu Fan was the instigator of all this chaos.

“Who are you? Why are you bringing catastrophe to Extremistis Country!?”

Though elderly, the Old Mage’s voice was still resonant – even from far away, Lu Fan could easily hear him.

Lu Fan smiled and said to the two. “This place must really be out of people, forcing old soldiers like you to take up arms and protect the palace? At your age, wouldn’t it be better to stay home and enjoy your retirement?”

“We may be old but we’re still vigorous!” The Old Swordsman was very displeased with Lu Fan’s mocking tone. He forcefully straightened his chest. At the same time, his sword emanated an unusual light, the rust gradually fading away as it regained its lustre.

However, in Lu Fan’s eyes, they were merely reaching their absolute limits.

Lu Fan had no interest in tangling with such old soldiers.

Therefore, Lu Fan spread his wings and flew deeper into the palace, saying. “Since you want to die, I’ll grant your wish. But just know this – the two of you can’t stop me.”

Seeing Lu Fan charging straight at them, the Old Swordsman and Old Mage both prepared for battle.

However at this moment, Jin Zaixi, who had nearly finished massacring the Palace Guards, tore open a Transport Array, with its other end appearing right between the Old Swordsman and Old Mage.

After the Transport Array appeared, Jin Zaixi squeezed through it, and his tentacles surged from the other end, forcing the Old Swordsman and Old Mage to retreat, naturally clearing a path for Lu Fan.

Although they were all Fourth Profession Players, the gap between them was not small. It would not be an exaggeration to say Jin Zaixi was Extremistis Country’s strongest Player.

Additionally, the two old men were well past their prime. Facing Jin Zaixi as a Fallen Corpse Puppet was tough. Just defending against his attacks took all they had.

“Stop! This is not a place you can do as you like!” the Old Swordsman roared at Lu Fan with his failing breath while fending off Jin Zaixi’s attacks with his sword.

Lu Fan ignored him completely, not even looking back. “What does it matter to you? Can you even stop me!? Back then, Tu Jing sat on the South Country’s throne and forced them to sign a treaty of surrender. Today, in your Jin Family Palace, I’ll twist off Jin Zaian’s head and take a piss on it!”

With that, Lu Fan had already broken through their defense line and entered the palace’s inner city.

The Old Swordsman and Old Mage were extremely anxious, but Jin Zaixi was too strong and they were no match against him. Forget stopping Lu Fan, their own survival was questionable.

Lu Fan charged into the inner city alone, and alarms would sound almost everywhere he went.

At the same time, Palace Guards would swarm in to surround and kill the invader.

However, these Palace Guards were all just in the Second Profession. Their Squad Leaders were only in the Third Profession.

This Level of Combat Power was simply not enough to stand against Lu Fan.

Lu Fan directly took out his  Flaming Meteor Sword and killed in all directions, advancing unstoppably following the Paper Doll’s guidance toward where Jin Zaixi was located.

Along this path, apart from Xiao Cui in her Soul Light Form, Lu Fan did not even need to mobilize the power of any of his other Pet Dragon.

The entire Jin Family Palace had descended into chaos.

…

Meanwhile, in a side hall of the palace, in Jin Zaian’s residence.

Jin Zaian wore silk pajamas and looked extremely haggard.

Around him were nearly a hundred Imperial Guards, who stood at the ready to protect him. There was also a Defensive Array that enveloped Jin Zaian, guarding against assassination by Archers, Mages, and any other Ranged Attacks.

These Imperial Guards were the palace’s highest combat Force, each one a Third Profession Player. Additionally, there was an Imperial Guard Captain, who was currently the palace’s strongest.

His name was Jin Qingxing, a branch member of the Jin Family with a Noble title, considered second only to Jin Zaixi among the Jin Family’s Players.

As a member of the Branch Family, through his own strength and talent, he had step by step become the Jin Family Palace’s strongest Imperial Guard, commanding 5,000 elite Imperial Guards.

Before Jin Chenghan showed his exceptional talent, he had always been viewed as Jin Zaixi’s Successor.

Moreover, being only in his early forties and in his prime, he had already had his Fourth Profession Change. Thus, it could be said that his future potential was limitless!

Jin Qingxing’s face was severe and expressionless as he stood before the protective barrier around Jin Zaian while holding onto his greatsword, his eyes slightly closed.

Jin Zaian was far from being as calm as him. Every time someone came to report that the invader was stepping closer to his location, Jin Zaian’s expression would worsen.

“What… what should we do?! The enemy seems to be coming for me…” Jin Zaian was completely unsettled, cold sweat pouring down his face.

He had already guessed that it was very likely to be Lu Fan.

And Lu Fan’s goal was to take his life…

Just then, Jin Qingxing opened his eyes and coldly said. “Second Uncle, with me here, why are you panicking?”
