Chapter 2893: Chapter 2894: Wonderland of Dreams

Time goes back ten minutes ago, when Angel was using the Scroll of Fortune, at first he silently chanted in his heart ”can suppress the Authority of the Forest of Nature.”

But soon, he found he was wrong.

He thought the Law of the Forest of Memories was difficult to suppress, after all, it belongs to a real law, unlike virtual laws. So, Angel was chanting with the thought that the Principal Body of the Nightmare Domain might currently lack Authority, or have very little Authority to suppress the Forest of Nature.

As a result, with this chanting, Angel discovered that the diamond-shaped crystal began to frantically expand, trying to break through the constraints of the green Pattern.

With a slight perception, Angel found that a large amount of Authority in the Principal Body of the Nightmare Domain was in turmoil.

This means, there are many Authorities that can suppress the Forest of Memories.

The multitude of available Authorities is undoubtedly a good thing, representing that the Forest of Memories is no longer a threat.

However, this means Angel needs to impose a limitation on the entry.

Previously, the ”Authority that can suppress the Forest of Nature” he chanted in his heart was obviously too broad, requiring a new entry to limit it.

The duration of the Scroll of Fortune is very short, Angel did not deliberate too long, directly added a limitation entry: Non-Core Authority.

— The Non-Core Authority that can suppress the Forest of Nature.

With the chanting of this restriction, more than eighty percent of the turbulent Authorities in the Principal Body of the Nightmare Domain fell into silence.

Among the remaining surging points of Authority, Angel chose the brightest one, released it through the channel reserved by the green Pattern.

As soon as the light point representing the new Authority appeared, Angel cut off the green Pattern holding it, letting the light point float freely, eventually merging into the void.

The light point becoming void means this new Authority has been absorbed by the indigenous will of the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

The speed of absorbing Authority and the intensity of applying Authority by the indigenous will of the Crystal Origin of Dreams are much stronger than that of wisdom entities, after all, these Authorities themselves operate based on the underlying rules of the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

So, at the moment the light point disappeared, the Crystal Origin of Dreams provided feedback.

Among them, Angel sensed most profoundly, was the earth starting to shake, like a land dragon turning over.

Not only did the surface of the Crystal Origin crack, but even the underground world started to appear cracks.

When the cracks appeared, Angel felt it was not a big deal, just ”earth cracking”, not as much noise as the celestial alternation did.

But then, when those falling crystal debris and powder started to merge, Angel felt something was wrong.

This debris, even Laplace dared not confront it directly, after a few clashes, the scale shedding could not hold up, Laplace could only evade. Especially Angel... lacking the treasure protection like scale shedding,

while the place where Angel was, cracks were everywhere up and down, there was even more crystal debris.

Angel avoided more clumsily than Laplace.

Finally, he had to run to the side of the Principal Body of the Nightmare Domain and forcibly go offline to save his life.

By the time Angel came back online, the crystal creations had already manifested.

These crystal creations were not only in mid-air but were also seen in the underground world by Angel, such as the Gates of Hell, floating blossoms, exquisite scissors, drifting flames, giant sarcophagus... when Angel came online, these odd things were what he saw.

Angel did not know what these were, guessed it might be the effects of the new Authority.

And the new Authority... according to Angel’s experience, once the light point on the Ability Tree is fully lit, it means it has been controlled by the indigenous will of the Crystal Origin. Currently, the light point representing the new Authority is still rather dim on the Ability Tree.

Although the light point was dim, Angel could already check the information of the new Authority through the Ability Tree.

But... Angel was very apprehensive.

This Authority that can suppress the Forest of Memories, presumably the information flood inside is not less than that of celestial alternation. If he fully opened to view, it would surely impact his mind, he probably wouldn’t wake up without fainting for a day or two.

Therefore, Angel dared to only explore the general name of the new Authority now, he had no concept of the effect of the new Authority yet.

And the name of the new Authority surprised Angel somewhat.

The names of new Authorities in the Wilderness of Dreams are actually very plain, probably because the Wilderness of Dreams is primarily the Wizards’ Realm, so the Universal Language of the continent can easily interpret it.

But the first Authority of the Crystal Origin, its name was very long and obscure, and the script used was one Angel had never seen before, Angel guessed it might belong to some branch of scripts from the Mirror World.

Even as a Controller of the Ability Tree, though he did not know these scripts, Angel could still directly understand the general meaning of the script.

Nonetheless, Angel could only grasp the general meaning of each term, but combining them made it difficult to interpret.

He only knew the main entry was roughly ”Dream Realm, Mirror World, Secret Realm.”

Based on the main entry, Angel guessed it might be a special spatial secret realm that simultaneously possesses the characteristics of both Dream Realm and Mirror World.

...Perhaps it is a sub-Authority of space Authority?

Given the difficulty in interpretation, Angel originally did not intend to name it now. But, at this moment, Angel recalled earlier he casually mentioned something which almost made him hand over the naming rights to Laplace.

Therefore, after careful consideration, Angel decided to temporarily name the Authority by himself.

Even if he did not know the Authority’s effect, nor was aware of the information the Ability Tree transmitted... Even though Angel knew nothing, he would forcibly assign a name!

However, this name is temporary, and after discussing it with others besides Laplace later, he would see how to rename it.

As for what name to forcibly assign? After pondering for a while, Angel used the three main entries to finally tentatively name this Authority.

— Wonderland of Dreams.

The name was derived from a story Jon told him.

But whether it matches this Authority, Angel does not know at the moment.

...

After setting the name, Angel watched as the crystal creations disappeared before his eyes.

Based on Angel’s conjecture, this should be transitioning from manifestation to introversion.

Angel believed that once he researched the ”Wonderland of Dreams” Authority within the Ability Tree, he ought to locate these introverted crystal creations.

As for where they went now, it’s not important.

What’s most crucial now is to quickly use the Forest of Memories to deal with the spider Magic Monster, and then use the new Authority to suppress the law of the Forest of Memories.

However, since the new Authority hasn’t fully lit up on the Ability Tree yet, Angel decided not to go offline to pull the Forest of Memories into the Crystal Origin, but planned to first look for Laplace.

Yet, when Angel used God’s View and placed his gaze at the place where they had previously held discussions, he did not see Laplace.

What he saw were just cracks in the earth.

Undoubtedly, these cracks surely resulted from the impact on the Crystal Origin during Authority’s birth. However, Angel believed, with the protection of scale shedding, Laplace should be unharmed.

Perhaps she has fallen into the underground world now?

Carrying this thought, Angel activated the Authority of the Gate of Dreams, directly using the Authority to lock on to Laplace’s location.

Finally, the Gate of Dreams positioned Laplace’s location in the high sky not far away.

When Angel approached, what he saw was a whip-shaped crystal creation floating in mid-air, but Laplace herself was not nearby.

Angel looked at the strangely shaped whip, his heart couldn’t help but form a trace of doubt:

”Could Laplace be inside this whip?”

After all, this was the only crystal creation Angel saw that hadn’t concealed itself yet, its reason for not concealing perhaps being the internal ”immortal realm” was activated? And Laplace entered the immortal realm?

Angel wandered around this whip for quite a while, and did not find the ”entrance” of the whip. Just right at this time, the new Authority’s light, fully revealed itself on the Ability Tree, also causing a branch hidden in the shadow to manifest its form.

Witnessing this scene, Angel knew, the new Authority had thoroughly fused with the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

Angel decided to temporarily set Laplace aside and focus on bringing the Forest of Memories in before dealing with other matters.

As for Laplace, Angel wasn’t worried about her safety. Besides, he had taught Laplace how to go offline, so if the ”Wonderland” turned into a ”Perilous Land,” she could just log off.

With this in mind, Angel logged off.

Not long after, Angel’s predetermined ”Creation Conflict” began.

The parties involved in the Creation Conflict were the law of the Forest of Memories on one side, and on the other side... the Wonderland of Dreams.

...

Angel did not witness this epic battle firsthand but observed it in reality through his authority.

However, even though he observed it solely through the authority of the Gate of Dreams, Angel still saw a breathtaking scene.

The Forest of Memories was transported to the area where the Spider Monster resided. The moment the Forest of Memories appeared, a rift opened in the sky, signifying the beginning of real-world law’s erosion of the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

Although the Crystal Origin of Dreams suffered damage, Laplace’s judgment was not wrong. Once the Forest of Memories entered the Crystal Origin of Dreams, it immediately grew madly, reaching hundreds of meters in height within a short time.

It directly broke through the Spider Monster’s weaving net, its treetop towering into the clouds.

On the massive trunk, clouds and mist enveloped, making it look majestic.

Upon the arrival of the Forest of Memories, the Spider Monster, whose web had been pierced, became anxious and tried to flee along the web.

However, the white mist resembling cotton clouds at the top of the Forest, upon sensing the Spider Monster’s aura, immediately locked onto it.

The law contained within the white mist seemed to naturally restrain the Spider Monster, preventing it from moving as soon as its aura was captured.

Soon, a branch extended from the trunk, and in the midst of the Spider Monster’s horrifying emotions, pulled it into the territory of the Forest of Memories.

Angel watched as the Spider Monster was dissipated into countless memory fragments, which eventually merged into the cotton clouds above the Forest of Memories.

This scene, even just observed through the Gate of Dreams, was already terrifying. If witnessed in person, it would likely be even more shocking.

Unfortunately, the law aura of the Forest of Memories is extremely strong, and being the law of the Mirror World, Angel’s physical body in reality or his body in the Crystal Origin of Dreams could both be damaged under such a law aura.

Therefore, he could only observe from a distant viewpoint.

After the Forest of Memories devoured the Spider Monster, its momentum increased, and the space rifts it tore grew wider.

However, unlike the Spider Mushrooms, the Forest of Memories did not tear the space rifts purely for destruction.

After tearing a space rift, the Forest of Memories would immediately use a new force to mend it.

This force was very similar to Aggregation Energy.

In other words, the Forest of Memories was using this method to gradually erode and replace the dominance of the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

If it followed the script of the Mirror World Will, what would happen next is the Forest of Memories would slaughter all sides, showcasing the warm water boiling the frog style of invasion.

However, just as the Forest of Memories was ”in high spirits,” a new power descended.

The new power—Wonderland of Dreams, upon arrival, immediately demonstrated its horrifying power.

If the Forest of Memories intended to slowly consume the Crystal Origin of Dreams, then Wonderland of Dreams intended to swallow the laws of the Forest of Memories outright.

The approach of Wonderland of Dreams was straightforward and simple.

It was to seize the ”cotton cloud” at the top of the giant tree of the Forest of Memories.

Though Wonderland of Dreams’ authority did not manifest externally, every time it seized the cotton cloud, it turned it into a crystal creation.

Within a few minutes, Angel clearly saw the momentum of the Forest of Memories diminish from its peak.

The primary reason for this decline was the appearance of new crystal creations near the Forest of Memories.

Vanishing Fairy, Iridescent Elf, Moonlight Banshee, Treasure Mermaid... these crystal creations were all drawn from the cotton cloud of the Forest of Memories, created by the new power.

Unlike previous crystal creations, these were mostly humanoid and belonged to rare Humanoid Race or humanoid magical creatures.

Angel did not know why there were so many humanoid creations; it remains to be seen in the introduction of the new power.

After these crystal creations were made, like other crystal creations, they existed for half a minute to a minute before disappearing.

Despite not being particularly dramatic, the entire Creation Conflict seemed harmonious at a glance. The Forest of Memories withered more and more, shrinking from the towering tree to ultimately being reduced to the size of a bonsai after being ”sheared” countless times.

At this point, the Forest of Memories had utterly lost the ability to consume the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

Wonderland of Dreams no longer devoured the Forest of Memories, but Angel could vaguely feel that Wonderland of Dreams was still near the Forest of Memories, suppressing it, indicating it was the time to reap the benefits—the reality laws of the Forest of Memories enhance the associated authority of the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

Since Wonderland of Dreams could reap the benefits of the Forest of Memories, does that mean it actually has a connection with the reality laws of the Forest of Memories?

Whether this is the case or not, Angel is utterly relieved now.

The Spider Monster has disappeared, the threat of the Forest of Memories is gone, the only minor regret is that Wonderland of Dreams has become a free authority, belonging to the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

However, it’s better for it to belong to the Crystal Origin of Dreams than for the latter to shatter.

Angel relaxed his mindset, thinking no more. No more eliminators should appear in the Crystal Origin of Dreams, meaning that henceforth, all that’s left to do is find ways to develop it.

As for how to develop it, that can wait till later—for now, he’s claimed this new territory.

With a joyous mood, Angel returned to the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

However, he did not go near the Forest of Memories but returned to the coordinates where Laplace had disappeared.

Other matters can be set aside now; it’s time to ascertain Laplace’s situation.

...

When Angel logged back into the Crystal Origin of Dreams, he paused slightly.

He noticeably felt a change in the surrounding aura after eliminating the Spider Monster and having the authority of the ”Wonderland of Dreams” return to the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

This change wasn’t just in spiritual perception but in actual energy transformations too.

This change was minor, and Angel only realized it through a God’s View, discovering a peculiar energy had appeared in the Crystal Origin of Dreams. This energy was somewhat akin to virtual magic in essence, yet exhibited an Aggregation Energy and Dream Power stance in its manifestation.

Angel conjectured that this might be the intrinsic energy unique to the Crystal Origin of Dreams?

The source of its genesis should be related to ”Wonderland of Dreams.”

If this energy only appeared due to ”Wonderland of Dreams,” will it form a system in the future, and what changes might this energy bring to the Crystal Origin of Dreams? Angel cannot say now.

Regarding the energy system, although he had read Sanders’s research reports, he... could not understand them.

Perhaps only when Sanders enters the Crystal Origin of Dreams can he provide answers. After all, he has mastered the abilities of ”Energy Selection” and ”Energy Level Limitation.”

While contemplating this, Angel subconsciously checked these abilities on the Ability Tree.

When the Crystal Origin of Dreams entirely became Angel’s own, many abilities on the Ability Tree vaguely emitted a light, indicating that when the time came, corresponding abilities would naturally emerge in the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

However, some abilities remained unchanged, seemingly exclusive to the Wilderness of Dreams and unrelated to the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

And upon seeing this, Angel noticed that ”Energy Selection” fell into the completely dim category.

Whereas ”Energy Level Limitation” belonged to the slightly glowing category.

This was indeed intriguing.

Nevertheless, Angel didn’t dwell on it too much at the moment. These matters were beyond his comprehension right now; it was better to wait until he had assimilated all the information from Wonderland of Dreams before pondering further.
