Triple X System

Gazing at the breathtaking sight kyle was lost for words. The items in lumia kingdom were just too adanced prior to the one’s on earth. Making him wonder what their planet evolutionary rank was.

[They’re in the peak first stage.] Snow calmly spoke, answering his question.

’You know.. you’re getting sloppy at cracking jokes.’ He inwardly said with sarcasm.

[I’m telling the truth dimwit. A planet can only evolve once absorbing a substantial amount of mana. Hence undergoing a process called filtration. Which involves drawing and seperating impure energies. Crucial in forming it’s core.]

’So you’re saying orobo’s recently formed it’s core?’ Kyle asked still not believing a planet cabaple of such feets. Was merely at peak 1st stage.

[Yes. Probably some years back but still close. Which settles my theory why there are many non ability users.]

”I see you’re amazed by this.” Lisa giggled pulling kyle from his thoughts. ”Don’t worry, i feel the same way too. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, it just feels so out of this world.”

”Yeah~”

Following lisa the group made their way towards the left of the tall metal podium they stood. Entering yet another glass tube, stretching downwards.

’Ding!’

The monotone ding sound was heard, the doors sliding shut. Next in line to the tube descending down at a normal pace.

Looking through the transparent glass, a tingle of excitement crept over him. Sightseeing the inner section of the oval teleportation bay. What looked like towering cranes, equipped with thin high-tensile steel wire ropes. Were stationed at the west of the building, along with huge black crates. Surpassing 2 stacked jeeps.

The white cranes worked non-stop, effortlessly picking up the huge crates. With the big round magnet, held tightly by the steel wires. Acting as the hook and placing the crates to a pulley with elastic black belt.

Quietly moving the crates down to the east section. Through a dedicated cut out part, headed into a rectangular shaped metal door.

”What are those?” Kyle calmly asked, pointing to the black crates.

”Oh~ those are courier crates. Crafted from linder, the best steel mined here.” Lisa replied with a light smile.

She could see Kyle’s interest was piqued in the crates making her grin more.

”From your looks i can tell you’re interested in them. Am i right?”

”Yes.” Kyle spoke not hiding his intentions.

For some reason snow couldn’t scan the items in the crates. Which confirmed his suspicions of something extremely valuable in it.

”How thrilling~” lisa clapped like a little girl, her wings fluttering about excitedly.

’What’s her deal.’ kyle scowled at Lisa’s weird attitude. He wasn’t comfortable one bit around her, prior to when with troy and the rest.

”Stop flapping those things around, you’re going to get us killed you maniac!” Falcon shouted gritting her teeth.

Struggling against tge terrifying pressure released from Lisa’s wings.

”Sorry ~ i tend to get a little too excited sometimes.”

Muttering some words falcin slightly pouted, averting her gaze. Earning an awkward glare from Aurora, causing ger eyes to twitch.

Moving onwards they made their way north, passing by some armed guards. Standing at adjacent sides of a sliding titanium reinforced door.

Typing in some commands, the door made a soft clang noise. Slowly retracting backwards to the side, revealing yet another different sight.

It was the same landscape as the room they’d just passed. Except with an entirely different setting.

From the east corner potruded the black crates, conveyed by the pulley. Tracing to a loading dock just a bit from the end of the pulley.

Picked up by a roboust looking green mech suit. Labelled K12 with an emblem by the right shoulder side. At the chest area was a small glass opening, highlighting the presence of a human operator.

’How are they this ahead.’ it was a mystery how lumia kingdom was not only equipped with knowledge far exceeding earth. But also built and ran a fully operational teleportation bay.

’Speaking of which where is it?’

He’d thought it was in the first room but apparently was wrong. At first glance it was certain this room was way spacious than the first, with way more facilitiies and people. Some dressed in overall white lab coats. While the other set wore fitting tailrored brown jumsuits.

The people in white presumably scientists, were mostly spotted high up. In what snow mentioned was the control station.

While the people in brown jumpsuits were stationed at the logistics bay. Using the green mechs present here to transport the black crates to the another metal door.

”You’re certain we aren’t lost?” Kyle frowned getting a bit impatient by the high level of security.

”Don’t be such a wind digger. We’re almost there.” Lisa retorded making kyle raise a brow.

’What the hell is a wind digger?’

[Unfortunately i don’t have such record if name in my database. But judging from it’s name, it’s plausible to be a species of beasts.] Snow explained.

Unlike before, they didn’t pass through the steel safe like door. Instead led by lisa into one of the spacious tubes heading up. Arriving at a metal door guarded by about a dozen space guards. With fully equipped battle armour and beam cannons. Casually walking past them, lisa then placed her hand to the biometric scanner at the sude of the wall.

”Permit aquired! Welcome, princess Lisa.”

The system dully uttered with a light ding, the door retracting backwards.

”Princess lisa?” Kyle muttered. He’d suspected she came from a noble lineage, but royalty was out of question.

”Unfortunately, yes. I’m a princess but i prefer you treat me equally as a friend.” Nodding kyle didn’t know her reasons but kept quit.

’So this is the operation unit.’ a light chuckle escaped his lips.

The control room wasn’t that spacious like he’d expected. Maintaining a considerable normal space housing the various equipments here.

”Princess lisa!” A young female with dark bulb cut hair called out. Just like the others present bere, she wore an overall white labcoat.

”Reze. I’ve told you to stop addressing me in such formal manner.” Lisa awkwardly scratched her head, a bit embarrassed.

Stopping reze stared at kyle from head to toe like a scanner. Causing him to subconsciously take a step back.

”Is he your fiance?” She whispered to which lisa nodded.

’Crazy~’ was the only word kyle could think of staring at both women.

”We’re expected to wed in a week’s time but I’m too curious to find out-” she paused her face going bright red.

”Hey pointy ears! Don’t you dare get any funny ideas about my master or I’ll kill you.” Falcon threatened with a murderous glare.

”Gasps.. a new rival has emerged threatening to claim your bethrold. What will you do!?” Reze excitedly rubbed her hands with a lewd expression.

Not responding lisa steadily walked over to kyle. Her cheeks flushed red, leaning in to plant her lips to his.

”Why you!” Falcon roared storming out and pulling Lisa away. Resulting in a tug of war for none ither than Kyle.

”Interesting~” Aurora muttered with a neutral face.

Being blind she couldn’t see like normal people but could vividly form images if individuals based in their aura’s.

”Ladies! I’m not for sale. I- i have a wife!” Kyle shouted causing the trio to gasp. Using the opportunity he slipped from their grasp standing at a safe distance.

”And so the plot thickens.” Reze dubious grinned enjoying the scene.

”Mhmm~ that was fun.” Lisa lightly chuckled. ”It seems i was wrong about you kyle, you’re not a threat at all.”

”Alrighty then girls, let’s get down to business shall we.” Reze gestured, heading to the control terminal with the rest following suit.

It was a long set of floating holographic keyboards. With glowing keypads, emitting a soft blue light. And 60 inch sized led screens, displaying various readings.

”How’s the king?” Reze softly asked typing in some letters.

”The usual, cold and grumpy.” Lisa shrugged. ”Oh! Lynn’s returned and almost destroyed the castle so yeah. Basically the same.”

”I see.” Reze sighed her eyes shifting to kyle.

”I heard there was a peasant that wrecked havoc and even caused trouble for troy. Is that prehaps you?” Reze flashed a bright smile at him. The playful personality from earlier disappeared.

’She’s just like this fairly.’

Just like lisa, reze harboubed no killing intent or dominant aura. But he could tell they were powerful as both addressed troy by his name.

”Yes.” Kyle plainly replied with a straight face.

Not speaking she buried her head in a hologram at the center of the terminal. Showcasing a planet with distinct similarities to earth.

”This is where you came from?” Lisa inquired staring at the hologram.

”Yes.”

”And you wish to return back and start fresh?”

”Not fresh but yeah, something like that.”

”And may i ask why?” She smiled making kyle frown.

”Just call it a survivors instinct to live another day.”

Sighing a weak chuckle escaped her mouth. Raising her head upwards a bit to the roof.

”Survivor instincts you say. Is that what your head is telling you, or your heart?”

”What do-”

’Boom!’

Unable to finish his words a huge explosion erupted. Shaking the entire building from the force produced. Various alarm sounds went off with flasing red lights. Blinking rapidly with a a static hum.

”Damnit. What’s the issue now?” Reze gritted her teeth, clanking in some commands. The largest screen at the center pulling up a video feed.

”Ahh! G- get away from me!” A space guard shrieked blasting off rounds of his energy plasma smg.

The scene then shifted to an intimidating prescence. Slowly advancing to the individual without suffering any effects from the energy gun.

Drowned in fear, the guard was unable to move. Cowarding like a cornered mice in a cat’s trap. Effortlessly pick the guard the figure muttered some dialogue words.

Opening it’s elongated jaw gapping mouth. Showcasing it’s sharp set of teeth.

”No~ no!” Screams and cries echoed outside the oval building. The man begging for his life which fell to deaf ears.

With one big chomp the guard head along with a huge portion of his body was gone. Silence following behind the trail of blood gushing out.

”Shit!” Reze cursed as the screen went blank.

”It looks like we’re undee attack from an unknown specie of beast. From the looks of it there are signs of intelligence, indicating a possible invasion. Proceed with caution.” Reze relayed over the transmitting device bud, positioned at her ear.
