Triple X System

The atmosphere was tense to say the least as two figures clashed against each other.

Some parts of the newly reconstructed castles walls partly destroyed. Along with several craters created from this battle.

We have to help her. Marley said already heading out but was caught by flint.

Are you crazy? There’s nothing we can do for now except watch and wait.

But she needs our help. How can you stand here and be so calm about this! She screamed balls of tears rolling down her cheeks.

Before her inauguration as one of the king’s royal knights. There were certain procedures one underwent before fully earning the crest of lumia kingdom.

Many just like her aspired to complete this process and become a guard. Mainly to be noticed by the king and maybe obtain a reward. But it was always pointless as 50% of individuals that passed bribed their way. Or had sone connection with some nobles to ensure a smooth path.

In reality it was cheating punishsble by death but no one cared. The state of the kingdom was already in debate.

I know how you feel Marley. I also feel the same way. But we can’t interfere now or we’ll just be a burden on the commander. Flint lightly smiled.

Y-you’re right. She can handle herself. Marley nodded wiping her eyes.

...

Meanwhile, ona stood just some few feets from the crowd. The insane pressure from luitenant wheleer air fist gradually decreasing. Becoming more bearable till it vanished.

Fantastic! As expected from the great commander ona. The king’s right hand lapdog! Wheeler shouted with a condescending look.

The weapon you’re duieling must be of basic quality. Yet you managed to take me blow head on. His lips curved uowards into a sly grin.

Too bad it’s not going to last more longer.

Moving his legs he stomped the ground forming small dents. Pushing his bulky body with such speed the ground trembled with each step.

His speed is rising. Flint noticed the increase in Wheeler’s speed as he shot like a cannon.

Not waiting ona grabbed the hilt of her sword rightly dashing out to meet wheeler.

Not holding back he swung his fist with full force. Doing the same ona parried his strike with her sword. The two objects sending large gusts of wind upon collision.

There was a hint of shock flashed before his eyes seeing ona standing her ground against his attack. But it didn’t last long as she was being pushed back by his brute strength.

Using his free left hand he attenemped a left jab at ona but she dodged. Leaping up a bit to evade the blow. Then delivering a fierce strike to Wheeler’s spine connecting to the back of his throat.

Ahh! What did you do! Wheeler grunted feeling warm liquid trickling down where ona struck. His eyes widened touching the spot seeing it was none other than his own red blood.

Enraged a sick smile formed to Wheeler’s face. Clenching both fist toghtly he moved like a blur. Reaching ona in no time sending out a barrage of punches. Maintaining her calm expression ona parried his strikes with her red sword.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Every collision eruted in a loud clang sound as metal clashed against metal. The difference in power was clear as each hit from wheeler pushed ona back a bit. But she was faster recovering in time to intercept the follow up.

Why is she just defending? She’s clearly faster than him and haven’t even used her ability. Flint thought not understanding the commanders motive.

In physical comparison wheeler exceeded her to some extent. But she had an advantage because of her speed and enduring stamina. Not to mention her trump card which was her hidden ability.

That sword won’t last much longer. Marley crinched her brows a bit noticing the state of ona’s sword.

The air strike from wheeler had inflicted some great damage to her sword. Some parts were chipped from Wheeler’s deadly air strike. Forming crack lines running all over the sword.

We have to act now. Marley urged to which flint nodded reading her mind.

...

Bam!

Wheeler sent his right fist out to ona’s head simultaneously kicking with his left. Tye distance was close making it impossible for ona to evade.

Unfazed she blocked his fist with her sword, using her free hand to grab his legs. Seeing this wheeler chuckled with a proud look already having a vivid outcome in his head.

Bam!

Ona was sent skidding a few feets back, the red sword in her grip shattering into pieces.

Thud!

At the same time an object fell to the ground forming a small dent slong with a familiar red liquid spurting out.

Ahh! Wheeler screamed in pain feeling his lower limb severed.

What the hell? There was shock evident in his eyes on what just happened. But the briad smile on ona’s face said it all, and that’s when he saw it.

Her sword.. damnit she tricked me! He inwardly cursed sensing what transpired. Apparently at the last moment before both his attacks connected. Ona with the sword raised in her right hand swiftly passed it down to her open left hand. Then using the momentum to insert strenght and cut through Wheeler’s metal leg.

Moving it back to her right arm with blinding speed wheeler couldn’t keep up with. Just in a fraction of second before his attack reached her.

Did you see that!? She just cut through his leg like butter!

Yeah no kidding that leg is enforced with thick steel but she sliced through it with ease?

Commander ona is incredible!

Marry me please..

Various chants and crues erupted from the crowd in speculation of ona and Wheeler’s fight.

So that’s what you did.. wheeler lightly chuckled.

Apparently she’d used that as a point of focus. Deploying her left hand as a distraction to let his guard down.

It wasn’t anything special at first probably a fool’s last resort. But in reality it was tatical mindset expected from nothing short of a commander.

I’ll admit you’re quite formidable. Even with low tier weapons. Slightly shaking his head the blood gushing out from his severed leg suddenly ceased. Parts of the silver liquid creating his humanoid metal body coating the stub.

But I’ll have to kill you now. Stomping his foot he blasted from spot. Heading in a straight line right for ona. Leaping away ona’s eyes widened for the first tine watching Wheeler’s bulky body come to a sudden halt.

Not so fast. A deranged grin was plastered to his face. Down below the parts of the silver substance had formed a second leg.

Clenching his fist tightly he punched forward at the air. Gritting her teeth she lept to the side dodging the air fist. But wherler wasn’t done yet.

Bang! Bang bang!

Wheeler forcefully punched the air with both arms. Sending out a barrage of multiple air fists at ona. Running to the side she dodge the rain of air fists. Leaping back in time before wheeler came crashing down to her previous spot.

Just give up already, you’re done for. Wheeler declared with a smug grin.

The stunt she’d pulled on him was clever but not without a cost. Not only uad her sword but only weapon at hand been destoyed leaving her unharmed. But she’d also received a blow to the head.

Panting ona ona ignored his condescending gaze. Raising her middle finger with a sly grin.

So be it..

Picking up a small car sized boulder he threw it straight at ona. Dodging to the side she was met by wheelers fist aimed for her head. Crouching down she escaped the heavy blow using the opportunity to punch his torso.

The fuck!? There was a bit of brief suspense from wheeler. Which ona took advantage of leaping back some few meters.

D-did she just punch the luitenant’s... The maid from earlier stuttered behind the crowd.

Yeah. It appears she did. The guard besides her confirmed her thoughts.

Meanwhile, wheeler was still stunned in place not expecting that from ona. Sure in a fight one had to do what it takes to win but it just wasn’t like ona to play dirty.

Something’s not right. Wheeler frowned staring at ona. He didn’t suspect it before but the way she fought and moved were just unlike her.

Not only did her strikes lack power but also control. Wildly releasing a series of strikes with undirected precision.

Boom!

He wasn’t given the chance to speak for long as an explosion occured before ona. Erecting thick black smoke which soon died out. There in front ona stood completely unscathed a new red sword in her clutch.

How did you- wheeler was left bewildered ny ona’s sudden transformation.

Just some seconds ago she was panting with injuries about reaching her limit. But now she was completely fine with a new weapon?

She has the same aura. Could it be a skill perhaps? Wheeler pondered still scanning her.

No one in the kingdom including him knew of ona’s ability except the king himself. So even if she’d activated it during the fight it wouldn’t be detected so easily.

I can’t believe I’m actually doing this. Damn you flint! How do you always get me to do crazy stuff like this. Marley inwardly screamed. Her whole body trembling with both excitement and fear.

My ability only lasts for 5 minutes so that should buy him enough time to get the commander out of harms way. Her lips curved into a light smile.

Hahaha! Wheeler’s laughed without a care in the world attracting her attention.

It seems I’ve finally cornered the great commander into using her ability. Slightly shaking his head his muscles tensed even more. Thick silver veins running along his body.

Guess I’ll have to kill you over again! He roared like a mad man. The ground beneath him crumbling against his terrifying aura.
