Three Towers Game

At this moment, many elite species and rare species felt that a rule should be established, rather than having the great tree distribute who would illuminate, after all, the distribution by the great tree... others wouldn’t gain any benefits.

This is human nature.

Even Wen Xishu had thoughts of eliminating the great tree.

But Wen Xishu didn’t take action because he didn’t need to.

The remaining hundred or so rare species and a few elite species had already surrounded the great tree.

If they don’t eliminate the great tree now, once the great tree starts a new round of card drawing, it will become too powerful.

So they must demand that the great tree adopt a new rule to illuminate the statue with them now.

”We demand a change in the rule, like drawing lots, initiating some kind of random rule; we cannot allow you to arrange things as you please anymore!”

The monster with the highest score, flying in the air, took the lead.

Other rare and elite species echoed in agreement.

Inside, the great tree was furious but also dreaded these hundreds of people.

It immediately began painting cakes:

”If you are willing to follow my distribution, and walk to the end with me, then I promise you, after drawing a good card next round, I will protect you.”

”If I die, this tens of thousands of points won’t fall on you, right? Rather than wasting it, it’d be better to let it play its proper role.”

Wen Xishu had to admit, the great tree was quite clever.

Its words indeed divided quite a few monsters.

Indeed, killing the great tree only adds 10 points, but helping the great tree, ultimately becoming its meritorious ally... then it’s akin to gaining an ally with nearly fifty thousand points.

This was indeed tempting.

For a while, the situation was deadlocked, but it didn’t last long because the rare species in the air was clearly living by its wits:

”Ha, fooling a ghost? Everyone here with such scores, has killed so many, eaten so much flesh and blood, doesn’t need reminding.”

”In the apocalypse, relying on others’ strength is meaningless; only being strong yourself matters. Those willing to continue helping the great tree, I ask you, the third round of lighting, thousands died, if you are asked to light in the fourth round, would you dare?”

Silence.

The great tree really wished to kill this flying monster. But it couldn’t.

And after half a minute of silence, all rare and elite species reached consensus:

”We need a new method to decide who lights the statue, rather than letting you designate, you either agree or we battle fiercely now!”

Zheng Zai said:

”Younger Brother... what should we do now?”

Actually, Zheng Zai, despite being horrified by the mass death of the last round, still felt confident.

With Younger Brother Wen there, he’s not afraid. Because it’s Wen’s super high stats that give them God-level stealth abilities.

It’s almost like jumping out of the strife.

Zheng Zai also knew, Younger Brother Wen certainly had a trump card. Being able to watch a group of monsters die leisurely and hide behind the strongest tree undetected—

He no longer questioned the value of fifty-three thousand.

Wen Xishu said:

”I will observe the death count until we have no choice but to act. I was thinking of going on a killing spree to help you get some points...”

Wen Xishu indeed thought this, one head being ten points, he should help Old Zheng get some points.

”But earlier, I needed the cannon fodder’s deaths to find patterns and solve mysteries, so it was delayed.”

”It’s a pity too many died in the third round, now those remaining are top contenders, each one’s score is higher than yours, and they’re threats behind. So let’s first let them fight among themselves and try to get more killed.”

”When the death count for a statue lighting round exceeds the number of survivors, I’ll act to end them.”

Zheng Zai felt a stir in his heart; indeed, Younger Brother had the confidence to massacre the entire field, except at first, he required these guys to find patterns, hence no large-scale slaughter.

Zheng Zai still didn’t find a pattern:

”So many died in the third round... how many would die in the fourth?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Don’t worry, not many will die, after all, the butterflies are interested in very few statues.”
