Three Towers Game

Simply put, if I choose the Deceit Tower as the base... then correspondingly, the Deceit Tower attribute and Anti-Magic Value will drop to half of their original value.

But my Slaughter Tower attribute and Desire Tower attribute will double.

And this time, the Deceit Tower attribute won’t increase at all, but the attributes of the other two towers will double.

Wen Xishu was amused...

Originally, going with Zheng meant going to relatively lower levels, which was fine, but if I use the Slaughter Tower attribute as the base, I can also exchange for double Deceit Tower attribute and Desire Tower attribute.

And the final settlement experience will also be doubled.

This made Wen Xishu find it very interesting.

In the rest area, Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai...

They weren’t even in the Celestial Essence District.

This was also one of the rare times for Wen Xishu, going to the Deceit Tower and not being in the Celestial Essence District.

Zheng Zai touched his head, ”Younger Brother Wen, for you, this is basically like going to the Newbie Village, right?”

Strangely, the Deceit Tower Competition did not provide a level hint.

But Wen Xishu, based on his current location... estimates that the level of Deceit Tower Competition is probably below the twentieth floor, around fifteen or sixteen, or seventeen or eighteen.

The task hint was like this—

[As a contestant in the Deceit Tower Competition, you will compete with bizarre individuals from all over the world, good luck, at least secure a ranking, and—don’t die inside.]

Just that simple.

”Not really, you still have to be careful at low levels, after all, this is the Deceit Tower, it doesn’t make sense, Old Zheng, you and I must be careful.”

Wen Xishu still wouldn’t underestimate any challenge.

If there was no information, asking him to go to the seventh floor now, he can’t say he’d definitely pass.

Zheng Zai nodded,

”Rest assured, Younger Brother, I’ll definitely be cautious, again and again, hehe.”

Having Wen Xishu there, Zheng Zai felt very secure.

The two didn’t linger long in the rest area but tacitly both activated the log-in device.

The surrounding scene shifted.

Zheng Zai was still a bit unaccustomed, but Wen Xishu was too familiar with this feeling, like coming home.

In no time, the world around them had completely changed.

The prompt that appeared in Zheng Zai’s mind nearly emptied half of his sense of security:

[Welcome to the Deceit Tower Competition, to ensure the fun of the competition, all your abilities, items, and attributes will be set to zero. Of course, this is only for this competition.]

[But please rest assured, we will not discount your previous efforts; your nullified abilities and items will be converted into points. This is your wealth.]

[You can use points to draw your cards from different pools. They will assist you in the rounds of the competition that follow.]

[We wish you good placement because placement will earn you more points. Points will allow you to have more cards.]

Zheng Zai’s initial points appeared.

Sequences, runes, Anti-Magic Value, and items, all gone, leaving Zheng Zai with an initial score of 254 points.

Zheng Zai found himself in a huge lounge.

This lounge’s style was somewhat similar to the rest area, with many displays and many people.

Zheng Zai and Wen Xishu were both in the ”outer ring” area.

Because they arrived relatively late, and also because both of them were purely human.

In terms of weirdness, compared to other contestants, they weren’t weird at all.

In the huge lounge, Wen Xishu even saw a minivan... but it had 24 centipede-like legs on it.

Just in appearance, they were already at a disadvantage.

And such curious creatures were everywhere.

They were contestants from various worlds.

The appearance of these contestants left Zheng Zai losing sanity.

”Hey, kid, why do you guys look like you haven’t evolved?” A giant, burning candle spoke to Zheng Zai.

”Newcomers from the outer ring... looks like their points won’t be high. Without points in this game, you can’t get good abilities and items,” said a twirling woman.

But the woman had no face, this woman... Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai both remembered.

They had encountered her at the Slaughter Tower.

However, in the rest area of the Deceit Tower Competition, the woman had no desire to attack, and surprisingly, they could even communicate.

”Did you see the cockroach in the inner ring? It has a score of 900.”

That was an upright cockroach, with a pink hair clip and heavy makeup, giving off a somewhat naive and overly enticing cockroach vibe.

Zheng Zai, on hearing 900 points?

Pressure hit him... if this were combat power, there was absolutely no way he and the opponent were on the same level.

I only have 254 points.

The strange creatures showed great interest in humans participating in such competitions.

But soon, confirming that the two humans posed no threat, they began to gather other information.

No one pays attention to the weak.

Once the attention dispersed, Wen Xishu said:

”Old Zheng, what’s your score?”

Zheng Zai embarrassedly lowered his head:

”254... Younger Brother Wen, we need to be on our highest alert, you heard it too, that cockroach, over 900 points...”

Wen Xishu said:

”What unit? Old Zheng?”

Zheng Zai didn’t understand, looking at Wen Xishu puzzled:

”Huh? Younger Brother, what unit?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Uh... it’s just that in my hometown, many people like to say how many tens of thousands as how many units. Your 254... isn’t really just 254, right?”

”Look at that cockroach, over 900 units, definitely worth being cautious of.”

Zheng Zai was even more confused:

”Younger Brother, my 254 points... it’s really just 254 points. I think, even though I’m not great, the gap between us and that cockroach shouldn’t be that big, right?”

Zheng Zai understood a bit; was Wen Xishu thinking the cockroach had nine million points?

Impossible.

How can you play then?

He roughly understood, points were for drawing cards, cards determined abilities, used for various competition challenges.

The other party with over 900 points might be able to draw from some extremely rare card pool.

So Zheng Zai sensed that this competition was likely to be very tough.

Wen Xishu was silent:

”Are you saying... it only has nine hundred points, and you really only have 254 points? No other units in the numbers you’re talking about?”

Zheng Zai nodded:

”Younger Brother... what about you?”

Wen Xishu suddenly felt a bit awkward. Because his score was a bit absurdly high.

Honestly, he had never fought such a wealthy battle, nor encountered such an absurd matching mechanism.

He originally thought that joining the competition with Old Zheng, facing such opponents matched to himself... would be like a lightweight amateur boxer matched against Tyson.

But now, he realized he was conservative; this wasn’t matched to Tyson, this was matched to Thanos.

”My items are a bit too valuable.”

Wen Xishu chuckled bitterly.

Old Zheng said:

”Younger Brother... is your score very high?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Ah, my combat power, is five hundred and thirty thousand.”
