THE GOD EATER

On the other side, Money Body was laughing. As he laughed, he said, ”Finally. I did it. I really did it.”

His behavior prompted Loki to say, ”Congratulations on your imminent ascension.”

But Money Body shook his head and said, ”It seems my understanding is not wrong. Unfortunately, the fruit of my understanding isn’t complete. I need more.”

Loki thought about Money Body’s problems for a few seconds. Then he took out the symbol of authority of the seven dragons that he just killed and tossed them to Money Body.

Money Body was surprised by his actions, so he was too stunned to catch anything that Loki threw. Fortunately, he had help.

The will of Oceania grabbed the symbol of authority with its invisible omnipresent world power. Then the will of Oceania made the symbol of authority rotate around the Monarch Money Body.

Money.

A few seconds later, he regained his bearings, and the look of surprise on his face faded away. But he was still confused, and it showed on his face as he looked at Loki.

After a few seconds, he asked with a voice full of confusion, saying, ”Why?”

In response, Loki shrugged and said, ”I want to see if you can really do it.”

Money Body wasn’t sure if he was telling the truth, but he wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the face.

He nodded at Loki and said, ”Thank you.”

Then he began fusing the symbols of authority with the incomplete Supreme Metac.

What he was doing wasn’t some simple action of tossing ingredients into a pot of soup. He was not careless about it at all.

Even though his actions looked straightforward, the way he rotated the Supreme Metac in his hand and the various angles that he used to bring the different Divine Metacs to it indicated that his actions were anything but simple.

In Loki’s eyes, Money Body seemed to be solving a puzzle. The Divine Metacs were the building blocks of the puzzle. Individually, they meant little. But together, they are being used to build something with a higher level of meaning.

During this process, Money Body was constantly making changes to the Supreme Metac. He was constantly changing its orientation and the internal connections between the various components and Divine Metacs within it.

As he worked, Money Body said to Loki, ”Ideally, rank 8 Divine Metacs are needed for this. In fact, Rank 8 Divine Metacs and their corresponding Divine Positions are the best materials to use.”

”But I couldn’t take the risk of using Divine Positions to form my Supreme Metac, as that would alert the sect to what I was doing. I have seen it happen before, and it wasn’t a pretty sight.

”Fortunately, these are the symbols of authority of dragons. Dragons are the most dominating creatures, so they fit very well.”

”Not that I have a choice. I have to use whatever I can get. That is my fate as a slave trying to escape from his master. I have to take whatever scraps come my way and use them to improve my chances in every way.”

By the time he was done talking, he had fused all seven symbols of authority with the Supreme Metac. So he took some time to admire his work.

After inspecting his Supreme Metac, he shook his head and said, ”It is good, but it is not complete.”

Loki could also see that the Supreme Metac wasn’t complete. In fact, he could tell exactly how incomplete it was thanks to the Power Identification Ability.

DOMINATION SUPREME METAC(INCOMPLETE: 44.86%)

Not only this, but he could also tell that the completion rate should have reached 51.563%. This was because Fenrir could evaluate the worth of the individual components of the Supreme Metac and compare them with the apparent worth of the Supreme Metac as a whole.

This made him shake his head inwardly as he thought, ’Money Body is wasting some connections and arrangements. If not, he would be able to get the full 51.563% completion rate.’

’But I guess he has done his best. Not everyone can have something as special as Fenrir to help them. And a utilization rate of 87% isn’t so bad.’

Money Body couldn’t tell the specifics like Loki could. He could only estimate, which made him say, ”It is about halfway done. I guess I will have to make up for the missing part with lifespan.”

After saying this, he said to the will of Oceania, ”Let us begin.”

At this point, the will of Oceania hesitated. This was because the next step was going to be dangerous, and there was the risk of losing a lot of things.

Their cooperation so far had been great, and there was nothing to complain about. The will of Oceania had gained a new, powerful World King, and its size had more than doubled.

If it were to rely on slowly growing in size with age, it would definitely require more than ten thousand years to gain the nearly 3 billion square kilometers that it just gained.

So if it were up to it, the will of Oceania would prefer that they remain like this. Unfortunately, Money Body wasn’t satisfied with this much.

Money Body wants to advance to rank 9. He had said this much to the will of Oceania earlier, so this wasn’t something that he was surprising the will of Oceania with. However, the advancement to rank 9 wouldn’t be so easy, and the will of Oceania didn’t want to take the risk.

So the will of Oceania said, ”It is a must.”

Money Body nodded as he replied, ”It is a must. I have to advance, or we will die.”

”As I said earlier, I didn’t come here of my own will. I was sent here. The person who sent me here is more powerful than I am, and he has a lot of people as powerful as me that he can send. When they realize that I failed my mission, they will send people to retake this world.”
