THE GOD EATER

After the net worth of both sides were tallied, Loki came out victorious in this judgment. Unfortunately, the dragon king was stronger than him, so the Wealth Status Metac couldn’t take effect on the dragon king to weaken him.

Instead of weakening the dragon king, the Wealth Status Metac had to strengthen Loki. This was more feasible, but it also cost more divine merit points.

Loki’s power was strengthened by 100%, so his power output of 90,699,264 units of divine power was increased to 181,398,528 units of divine power. This made him strong enough to break hold of the illusion in his mind.

After he became free of the attack, he immediately activated the Nanite Metac and three other Divine Metacs. He didn’t activate them for their effect. Instead, he used the Power Shifting Ability to make them behave like the four Divine Metacs of the money pathway that he was using.

This actions raised Loki’s current base power of 90,699,264 units of divine power to 6(Cultivation Rank) × (6(Body) + 6(Mind) + 6(Soul) + 6(Mind) + 6(Will)) × (6 × 4)Divine Metacs × 2,916 million(Cave Heaven) × 9(Law Fragment), which is 181,398,528 units of divine power.

Then he deactivated the special effect of the Wealth Status Metac. After all, he didn’t need the special effect of the Wealth Status Metac to break free of the illusion. He was capable of breaking free on his own.

Of course, now that he was using eight rank 6 Divine Metacs, he was spending 48 years of lifespan per second. But he thought that this was a better expenditure than spending 10 divine merit points per second.

Besides, he was gaining a total of 36 years of lifespan per second from the Siphon Ability. So this trade from the Wealth Status Metac to activating four additional Divine Metacs was not a decision that he struggled to make.

With this done, he finally had time to care about what was going on around him. He saw that everything around him had turned into gold.

Well, not everything in the world had turned into gold. Only the things within 83 kilometers of Money Body had been forced to freeze into gold.

So only the things within a sphere with a diameter of 166 kilometers were frozen. This included the water in this sphere.

As the water in the sphere became gold, it sank to the ocean floor. This created space within the sphere, which was quickly occupied with more water.

The new incoming water also became gold very quickly. Then the new gold fell to the ocean floor. So the domain of 83 kilometers around Money Body was an area that was constantly producing gold.

This sphere tended to move around as the Monarch Money Body clashed with the dragon king, so more areas of the ocean had turned golden. Only the dragon king and Loki could move around within this golden sphere.

However, it seemed Money Body wouldn’t be able to kill everyone else with this attack because the frozen dragons were sinking along with the gold to the bottom of the ocean. This was because they were still fighting to maintain their body.

Blood Sword and Nether Flame were currently preoccupied with the illusion, so they didn’t bother to heal their physical bodies. So after a while of being battered by the golden lost, they lost their divine bodies and became golden flames floating in the water.

This wasn’t enough to kill them, though. But when the dragon king began pumping black, poisoned water into their Cave Heavens, their fate was sealed. Especially since they were still struggling with the illusion and couldn’t defend themselves or run away from the battlefield.

On the other hand, the dragons only had the golden light to contend with. Of course, they couldn’t resist the golden light since they were so weak compared to Money Body. But they could maintain their bodies with the assistance of the will of Oceania.

After they were swept out of the range of the golden light by the dragon king, their situation would become better. Then the dragon king would be able to focus on Money Body and kill the invader.

In just a few seconds, the seven dragons had left the range of the golden light and had recovered their bodies completely. Now they were swimming outside the golden light, watching the fight between the dragon King and Money Body.

Loki took all of these in before he rushed out of the golden light. He flew directly towards the dragons.

His actions took both the dragon king and Money Body by surprise. They couldn’t believe that he had been able to survive the combined attacks of the two of them, so they were very surprised.

With the power to break free from Money Body’s golden light attack, the dragon king realized that his worst fears that Money Body wasn’t the strongest invader had come to pass. This made him begin to panic.

It was already difficult for the dragon king to defeat and kill Money Body, so he had been worried that Money Body wasn’t the strongest. Now that Money Body was keeping him tied down, this stronger invader would be able to kill the other dragons without anyone to stop it.

With the tables having turned in favor of the invaders, Money Body should be glad. But he wasn’t happy at all.

He already hated Loki, so there was no way he was going to be happy that Loki was stronger than him. But then he remembered how Loki had been acting humble and servile to him. This made him feel humiliated and also afraid.

Money Body’s emotions were far too complex at the moment. He should be looking forward to Loki killing the dragons and weakening the dragon king, but he couldn’t bring himself to feel joy that the new Gold Body was stronger than him.

While Money Body was feeling complicated, the dragon king shouted at the other dragons, ”Run!”
