THE GOD EATER

While the will of the world and the dragons were wondering what to do next, Money Body came out of the crystal shield. At this point, he knew that his existence was going to be discovered by the will of the world, so he didn’t bother to hide.

In fact, he did the opposite of hiding. He activated all four of his Divine Positions and turned his entire body into a large golden ball of golden light.

In response to his appearance, the dragon king roared into the sky and attacked. A spike made of black, poisoned water was ejected into the sky from the dragon king’s mouth. The spike smashed into Money Body and pushed him back.

Money Body was defeated in that exchange, but he wasn’t injured badly. This was because of the Market Conditions Divine Metac.

The Market Conditions Divine Metac didn’t increase Money Body’s power directly. Aside from the mobilization of his Will Stat, the Market Conditions Metac didn’t produce any form of raw power, so Money Body was still weaker than the dragon king, even with four Divine Metacs.

His power was 8(Cultivation Rank) × (8(Body) + 8(Mind) + 8(Soul) + 8(Mind) + 8(Will)) × (8 × 3)Divine Metacs × 2,843 million(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragment), which is 174,673,920 units of divine power.

On the other hand, the power of the dragon king was 8(Cultivation Rank) × (8(Body) + 8(Mind) + 8(Soul) + 8(Mind) + 8(Will)) × (8 × 7)Divine Metacs × 1,406 million(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragment), which is 201,564,160 units of divine power.

Therefore, the dragon king is 15.4% stronger than him. So it was not a surprise that the dragon king’s attacks kept defeating him and pushing him back.

But Money Body refused to back down and retreat. He kept pushing forward, and he kept fighting back. The clash between them turned the whole sky golden. The sea beneath was also affected.

The golden light from Money Body caused everything it touched to turn into gold. The air in the atmosphere couldn’t avoid this, and neither could the water below.

The air turned into golden flakes while the water solidified into a large flat landmass. This golden landmass on the surface of the water was broken again and again by the dragon king, but the golden light produced more of it.

The dragon king rose into the air to reveal its white, majestic body. The white scales all over the dragon king’s body were twinkling as if they were studded with white gems. The water washing down from the body of the dragon king also caused the scales to sparkle because of the way it refracted light.

As the dragon king rose into the air, pillars of blackened water also rose with it. The pillars of water all resembled the dragon king in form and size. So they made it look like the dragon king possessed many black heads.

All of the heads of the dragon king, be they fake or real, all came for Money Body. They surged into the sky to smash into him.

In response, Money Body didn’t dodge the attacks. He rushed into them with his golden light flashing everywhere and turning the pillars to gold.

Unfortunately for him, his power was inadequate. So the pillars were always able to reach his body and smash into him.

All in all, Money Body was taking a beating in this fight. He had injuries all over his body. But for some reason, he wasn’t losing a lot of lifespan in the fight.

In fact, the dragon king was the one losing the most lifespan. This was despite the fact that the dragon king hadn’t been injured once by Money Body.

It is unreasonable that the strongest party in a fight would lose the most lifespan. Furthermore, it is abnormal that the party that hadn’t been injured since the start of the fight was the one losing the most lifespan. So something was definitely wrong somewhere.

Any injury to a divine being, no matter how small, will cost a fixed amount of lifespan that is equal to the power of the Divine Metacs multiplied by the amplification of the law fragments.

In this case, the dragon had used seven rank 8 Divine Metacs and possessed an amplification of 900% from the law fragments present in the large world.

Therefore, the cost of any injury that the dragon inflicts should be 7 × 8 × 10, which is 560 years of lifespan to heal. But it will only cost me the dragon king 56 years of its lifespan to create the attack.

The main difference between a small injury and a large injury is the percentage of the body that is destroyed and the percentage of the power of the Cave Heaven that is cut off from the body.

The larger the injury, the greater the proportion of the power of the Cave Heaven is cut off from being expressed. So a large injury will weaken the divine being more, which will make it even more difficult for them to defend against the same kind of attack.

But it will cost the same amount of lifespan to heal the injury regardless of its size. This is because lifespan isn’t actually healing the injury.

The work of the lifespan is to help the Life Fire burn away the law’s impact of the attack of the enemy from the injury. The more Divine Metacs used in the attack and the higher the amplification of the law fragments, the higher the law’s impact of the attack will be.

This law’s impact is the same regardless of the size of the injury. As long as the power of the attack is greater than the power of the defense, there will be a constant amount of the law’s impact.

But the relative difference between the power of the attack and the power of defense will determine just how big the injury the defender will incur will be.
