The First Store System

Chapter 146: The Towerʼs Features

”Since youʼre the only participant to win against an opponent that had the same cultivation level as you, and no participant else has been able to win against the opponent with higher cultivation, youʼre the winner of the event,” Aakesh expressionlessly announced while looking at Brinda, who was surrounded by her family members.

A mix of shocked and excited expressions appeared on Brindaʼs face after hearing the store owner. She couldnʼt help but pinch herself to see whether this was a dream or not.

”Congratulations, Brinda! Youʼve done our family a favor by winning this event.”

The next moment, she felt a gentle pat on her shoulder and heard an emotional familiar voice. She turned around and saw it was her grandfather. She then looked at her other family members and could see every one of them excited.

The tower gave them a chance to create one of the top organizations of the Primal dimension. It gave them a chance to grow from a pitiful Kingdom to an influential Empire on Visteerna.

”Now, Iʼll be the first female king of the Bisan Kingdom,” She thought in her heart, imagining the value of the tower.

”Come here,” Aakesh ignored the reactions of the royal family and other participants and called Brinda forward.

Brinda nodded and stepped forward.

Aakesh snapped his fingers. The next moment, the tower disappeared from the platform, and a miniature model appeared in his hands.

”This is your reward,” He said as he handed her the tower.

Brinda, with an excited expression, took it in her hands. Her eyes shined, seeing the majesty and splendor of the tower.

”Since the tower is different from the other rewards Iʼve given, Iʼve to explain its properties,” Aakesh said, ignoring Brindaʼs enthusiasm after holding the tower in her hands.

”For every participant below Nascent Soul, the tower would take 100 ordinary Primal stones for activation. For every participant below Void Forging, it would take 100 top stones. For every participant from Tao Seed to Tao Palace, it would take 100 superior stones. For every Heavenly Monarch or any Immortal, it would take ten supreme stones,” Aakesh told Brinda the price of activation.

Since it was in the store, Aakesh didnʼt charge that much because the system activated the tower, but now that it was leaving the store, Primal stones would be the main factor behind the activation of the store.

Brinda nodded after hearing this since she had expected a price to pay for every activation.

”For every death, you face in the tower, you need to rest for a week to return to your perfect shape of mind. If you die twice without the rest of a week, your consciousness will suffer a permanent attack that may at least take a year or two to heal. If you still continue for the third time, then your consciousness would break down, and it would result in your death,” Aakesh then announced the side effects of the dying in the tower.

Brinda had a surprised face since she didnʼt expect it to be the case. But after thinking about the situation where she could grow without any side effects made no sense to her, so she thought the rule of resting a week after every death made sense.

”Unlike the event, you can select your opponent for the battle in the tower from now on,” Aakesh added.

A smile appeared on Brindaʼs face after hearing Aakesh, but the next moment, the smile froze, hearing what he said next.

”You can choose your opponent from the race of your choosing, but unlike the event, you wonʼt have thousands of races to choose from. You can select five races for your opponents, and then only the opponents of these races would fight against you,” Aakesh added, nerfing the tower.

Brinda heaved a disappointed sigh after hearing Aakesh.

Aakesh ignored her reaction and told her to feed the tower a single drop of her blood. Brinda took a deep breath, bit her index finger, and dropped blood on the top of the tower.

The next moment, the blood engulfed the tower.

”Choose five races,” Aakesh ordered.

”Now!” Brinda asked with a confused expression.

”Yes, now!” Aakesh expressionlessly responded. Since Brindaʼs blood would give birth to the soul of the tower, and it was impossible for anyone in her family to make the will of the tower submit to Brinda, so he asked her to choose five races, and then he would make the will of the tower submit to her.

”Remember, choose carefully. If you choose too strong a race, the tower instead of making you strong will become your weakness, and if you choose a weak race, you would never be able to grow strong enough to compete with top races,” Aakesh warned her before she could select the races. He only did this because the tower would help the Bisan Kingdom to grow, and the more it grew, the influence of his store would also rise.

Brinda nodded and directly took out the Hygar from one of the five races she was going to select. After thinking for a few minutes, she finally made her decision.

”Iʼve made my decision, store owner,” Brinda told Aakesh.

”Okay, think of the five races youʼve decided to select in your mind and imprint it onto its will in your mind,” Aakesh added. The next moment, the tower tried to escape Brindaʼs hands as it knew if it stayed here any longer, it would lose its freedom.

”Stay here,” Aakesh expressionlessly commented, and the next moment, the tower froze in the air. He then snapped his fingers, and the tower started shaking as if it was seeing something terrible.

A few moments later, the tower stopped shaking and fell back to Brindaʼs hands. The next moment, Brinda opened her eyes and couldnʼt help but smile. She could now feel the tower as one part of her body, which she could easily manipulate.

”Thank you, store owner,” She thanked Aakesh with a slight bow after feeling her ownership over the tower.

Aakesh nodded in response and waved his hands. The next moment, all the participants standing on the platform disappeared and appeared on the chairs they were sitting in before entering the event.

”What races did you choose?” Punta asked his granddaughter after appearing in the seating section.

”Humans, Elves, Wyrms, Moya, and Ida,” Brinda responded the name of the five races she had chosen.. Punta nodded in appreciation of her granddaughter.
