The First Store System

Chapter 130: First Event

Suddenly an invisible door floating in the air appeared in the store. Even George and the other two were surprised, seeing the door for a moment, but the next moment they calmed down as everything about the store was mysterious to them.

The next moment, the door opened, and the stairs connecting the door with the store appeared. Aakesh stepped out of the door and then stepped down the stairs.

He took a glance around the store and nodded at Lenna for coming earlier as he had requested her. Letting her meet a Dragon wasnʼt a big deal for him since he could take her to the selection ground and select the training with Dragon.

[Host, there are currently 462 people present in the store.]

The next moment, the system told the number of people in the store to Aakesh as he had asked a moment earlier in his head.

”I think itʼs enough to start. The people would automatically come as time passes,” Aakesh whispered to himself and decided to start the event.

The next moment he waved his hands. The stair, the floating door, the closed rooms disappeared, and instead, a vast empty space out of nowhere appeared.

Chairs after chairs started appearing. It didnʼt stop until half of the space got filled, while the people in the store only looked at everything happening with shock.

Those who were regular customers of the store got surprised for only a moment, but the next moment they smiled as they only expected something like this from the store owner. It was a shock of life to those who came here for the first time when they saw the scene of a space erupting out of the blue. Many even ran outside to check whether it was only happening inside or not.

A few moments later, further chairs stopped appearing. They had spawned in tens of rows and columns, with every column containing more than tens of thousands of chairs. Aakeshʼs goal was to fill all the chairs before the event ended.

For Every two columns, a black screen appeared. It would show the scenes of the events to those who only came to watch here or would participate later.

It wasnʼt over, as ten meters away from the first row of chairs, a newly built wooden platform appeared. The next moment, fifteen virtual portals appeared on it.

Currently, the virtual portals werenʼt directly connected to the Panagea, and it would stay the case for three days. Since three days of disappearance could change many things, the system had stopped time in Panagea for the three event days.

Aakesh had connected the virtual portals to the selection ground, where all the participants would participate and compete for the rewards.

Even if the participants did not win any prize, the events planned by Aakesh were going to be beneficial to them, so it was up to them whether they would gain from the events or not.

After the virtual portals, a virtual projection appeared not far from it. Currently, it was empty, but after the event started, it would show the leaderboard for the events.

The next moment, Aakesh waved his hands. A round of screams echoed in the store as the crowd suddenly found themselves sitting on their respective chairs. Seeing so many unheard things in a single day was too much for them to take.

A feeling of eagerness for the event also rose in their heart, seeing the power of the store owner. The royal family appeared in the first row since they were the ruler of the lands. They werenʼt alone. George, Evelyn, and Lenna also found themselves in the first row.

The next moment, Aakesh appeared on the platform, and his favorite chair appeared. He sat down on it and looked at the crowd that didnʼt even look like a drop in the sea of chairs.

His face remained expressionless as he announced, ”I am Aakesh, the store owner of ʼThe First Storeʼ. Welcome for the first-day event.”

Smiles appeared on the faces of the regular customers the store had, while those who came for the first time had strange faces, seeing all the happenings.

”Excuse me, how do I leave?” One man raised his hands and asked with a slight tremble in his voice. He had wet his pants when he suddenly appeared in the chair.

”You only have to think of leaving, and you would find yourself standing at the door of the store the next moment,” Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

Since he couldnʼt wave his hands for every person that appeared in the store for the event, so the system had added a setting. Anyone who entered the store would directly find themselves sitting on his chair, and anyone who wanted to leave could do so with only a thought.

Since he wasnʼt there to tell everybody, he asked the system to embed this thought into everyoneʼs mind and calm everyone right away from the shock they get.

”Since enough people have already come, letʼs start our first event,” Aakesh expressionlessly commented.

Everyone sitting in the crowd suddenly fell silent and focused on what Aakesh was going to announce.

”The first event would be a sword battle.”

”For the first round, the participants would face the storeʼs champion, and those who survive one stroke from that warrior would then compete for the championship.”

Aakesh then waved his hands, and an ordinary sword appeared in his hands. ”This would be the reward of the winner of the event sword battle.”

Dumbfounded expression appeared on everyoneʼs faces, seeing the ordinary sword as the reward, but the next moment, their jaw almost dropped to the ground after what Aakesh said.

”This is a growth weapon, and with a drop of your blood, it would turn into the level you are currently at,” Aakesh expressionlessly announced.

Even George and Evelyn were shocked hearing this. Lenna was also shocked, but since she had no interest in swords it didnʼt matter to her what level they were.

”Any cultivation?” George suddenly asked.

Aakesh expressionlessly nodded and continued, ”To participate in the event, you need to pay only 100 inferior Primal stones.”

The crowd gasped, hearing such a ludicrous amount. One in the crowd stood up and asked, ”What if youʼre lying about the level of the sword?”

The other present in the crowd also nodded in response to the question because even if Aakesh lied about the level of the sword, they couldnʼt do anything to him because of his power even after theyʼve paid such an outrageous amount to him.

Aakesh was going to respond, but before he could say anything, Punta stood up from his chair, turned around, and said while looking at the citizens of his Kingdom, ”You donʼt have to worry about the authenticity of the store ownerʼs words. I, as the king of the Bisan Kingdom, vouch for him.”

The man in the crowd sat back down because after Punta vouched for Aakesh, there was no point in distrusting him.

”So those who want to participate take out 100 inferior Primal stones in your hands,” Aakesh nodded at Punta and announced.

The entire royal family took out 100 inferior Primal stones and disappeared from their chair. The next moment, they appeared on the platform, and their names started appearing in the virtual projection near the portals.

Not many people in the crowd could take out the amount of 100 inferior Primal stones, so they only watched, while those who were from well-to-do families took out the amount.

A few moments later, everyone who would participate appeared on the platform. George was also participating since he had an obsession with swords.

Aakesh then selected a group of 15 people and told them to enter the virtual portal.
