The First Store System

Chapter 102: The Faero Family

[Host, what are you thinking?]

The system asked in its mechanical voice after the sudden suggestion of Aakesh.

”We could organize a competition for citizens, where they can participate and win prizes. It would promote our store to ordinary citizens,” Aakesh said.

[Host, are you sure?]

”Yes, letʼs do this. Anything is better than sitting on a chair while waiting for customers,” Aakesh responded in his head.

[Ding.]

[Host, the system has accepted your suggestion. Please see the quest screen for the new quest!]

The next moment, Aakesh heard the system alert in his head. He then thought of the quest screen, and the next moment, a blue window containing all the details of the mission appeared in front of him.

[Mission Objective: Organize a competition for the citizens of the Bisan Kingdom and other people,

Requirement: Since youʼve suggested that the store should organize a competition to promote the store, itʼs now your duty to organize it with the maximum possible zeal and fervor so that everyone irrespective of their level can enjoy it,

Minimum numbers of attendees: 2000,

Event time: Three days,

Mission reward: A new product, addition in varieties in pills, and thirty-five new virtual portals,

Failure punishment: Commission reduced by 100% for a year.]

Aakesh had a dumbfounded look after reading the quest screen. ”I told you to organize it,” Aakesh said to the system.

[Host, youʼre the store owner. You should organize the events.]

The system responded in its emotionless and mechanical voice.

Aakesh stopped speaking to the system and refocused on the quest screen. He had got his conditions to organize the competition. The event needed to be three days long, and his mission would only succeed if the number of attendees of the competition crossed 2000.

Aakesh couldnʼt help but suck a breath of cold air after reading the minimum number of attendees, but when he looked at the rewards, the mission seemed easy for the reward.

Only thirty-five virtual portals as the reward were enough for the quest, but now if he successfully completed the mission objective, he could get a new product in the store. He also focused on the minimum number of attendees, as it signified that there wasnʼt a limit to the number of attendees in the competition. So if he crossed a certain number, he was confident that he would also get bonus rewards.

”Hey, system, is there a time limit for me to organize the competition?” Aakesh asked the system as to organize an event where he needed at least 2000 people to participate would take some time.

[Yes, Host, you have seven days to organize the competition.]

Aakesh nodded after hearing the systemʼs response. Seven days were enough to organize the event on a large scale.

Aakesh was just thinking about ways to organize the event when the Elf spawned in the store. She directly rushed to Aakesh after appearing in the store.

”Hey, store owner, how did you do it?” She asked as she had just appeared in the store after dying in Panagea.

”Whatʼs that got to do with you?” Aakesh expressionlessly responded while his complete focus was on thinking of ways to organize the event.

”Nothing, I just wanted to ask,” She responded while smiling behind her mask. If it was before entering Panagea, she would have to control her anger, but now, she felt whatever he was doing was correct.

A silence fell in the store as Aakesh didnʼt respond, while she stood there and didnʼt enter the Panagea.

”I am Lenna Faero, the heir of the Faero family of the Moonlight Elves,” She suddenly took off her mask and the cloth covering her head and introduced herself.

”I am Aakesh,” Aakesh said as he only took a glance at her and returned to his thought process.

”I want to make a deal with the store,” Lenna said as the smile on her face disappeared, and instead, a solemn look appeared on her face.

”What deal?” Aakesh asked, seeing her suddenly, turning solemn.

”I would only tell you if you make a vow that you would never tell it to another soul,” She responded.

”No need, I donʼt make vows,” Aakesh refused right away.

”If you missed the deal-”

”I told you, I donʼt make vows,” Lenna wanted to say something to change his mind, but Aakesh cut her off and expressionlessly refused.

”Fine!” Lenna said with a little irritation evident on her face. She then returned to the portal room.

Only a few moments had passed when she spawned again in the store. Aakesh ignored her while he started thinking about the quest.

”You look trustworthy, so I would trust you and tell you,” Lenna suddenly said with an expressionless face, which made Aakesh look at her.

”My family, the Faero family is one of the top three families of the Elves in the Primal dimension-” Lenna started explaining about her family.

”Whatʼs the deal that you want to make?” Aakesh cut her off as he had no interest in knowing about her family.

”You...” She almost snapped at him, but she somehow controlled herself in the end as she was the one asking for help and stopped at you.

She then took a deep breath and started speaking again, ”My grandmother Elasha Faero is an Immortal expert on the verge of attaining divinity. She majors in the element of divination. While meditating two days ago, she suddenly had an intuition of something major happening in the area of the Mysterious Peak, surrounding the border of the Bisan Kingdom and the Blue Wyrm Kingdom in the upcoming month.”

Aakesh finally had a change of expression as he suddenly remembered something which he had left in the back of his mind and was going to happen in a month.

”What do you know about the event?” He then asked Lenna.

”My grandma wasnʼt able to find out much about the upcoming event. She only told me that the event would change the dynamics of the Primal dimension,” Lenna responded.

”A dimension scale event!” Aakesh murmured.

”So, would you help me?” Lenna nervously asked.

”Whatʼs a weakling like you can even do in the event that could affect the entire dimension?” Aakesh bluntly responded.

”I am stronger than you!” Lenna retorted back as she showed her Tao Palace cultivation level.
