The Devil Does Not Need to Be Defeated

Chapter 229: “Have Experience?”

The dawn of the next day.

When Shien got up from his bed, he was still somewhat in a daze.

He left his room in a daze, then washed up and brushed his teeth in a daze. Shien just continued to move out in a daze until finally, he opened a door and shook a certain sleepy little girl awake.

”What are you doing so early in the morning?”

Airi was sleepily hugging her pillow and nodding off while looking dissatisfied. It was obvious that getting her sleep interrupted had put her in a bad mood.

It canʼt be helped though. Shien urgently needed someone to share his current feelings with.

”Iʼm telling you, something major happened to me.”

Shien still had the same dazed look as before.

”What major thing?”

Airi also had the same dissatisfied expression.

If any of her subordinates have seen her current expression, theyʼd definitely be so terrified that theyʼd be on the ground begging for mercy.

Shien however didnʼt show a hint of that kind of awareness, and instead he just spoke something with a worried look.

”I got forcibly kissed. And itʼs someone super beautiful at that.”

Shien said something that would make a lot of people want to beat him to death.

”… Thatʼs all?”

Airi also couldnʼt help but fall silent for a bit before asking in a disbelieving manner.

”Thatʼs all.”

Shien however just seriously nodded at that.

Airi instantly had the urge to send Shien flying with a punch.

”You must be bored.”

With that bit of appraisal, Airi once again lied down to sleep.

”Oy, donʼt just go to sleep, talk to me here.” Shien did not care for her reaction and pulled Airi out from under her blanket before shaking her, ”That was my first kiss you know, and yet it got taken from me less than two months after arriving in this word. I didnʼt even manage to properly get a good taste. I just blanked out, and it was already over by the time I came back to myself.”

”… And?” Airi forcibly pushed down her urge to slap Shien into the floor as she spoke in a low tone, ”Whatʼs the point of talking to me about this?”

”Thereʼs no real point really.” Shien spoke truthfully, ”I just have complicated feelings about it, so I wanted someone to chat with.”

”Are you a little girl who just reached adulthood or something?” Airi was on the verge of collapse as she spoke angrily while gritting her teeth, ”The kiss was already over and done with, so what more do you want?”

”I-itʼs not like I actually wanted anything…” Shien spoke in an awkward manner, ”I just feel like I kind of lost out.”

By now, Airi had the urge to start letting the corner of her mouth twitch and spew out some complaints.

”What did you lose out on?”

Airi could only asked in an exhausted manner.

”Thatʼs a first kiss you know.” Shien spoke like it was completely logical, ”If I knew that it was going to happen, thereʼs no way Iʼd have been so passive about it. I should have at least taken the lead from her.”

”Is that really important?” Airi was on the verge of wildly scratching her head.

”How could it not be important?” Shien instead countered, ”This is a matter of a manʼs pride. Plus, the other person in question is a pure goddess who would end up blushing up a storm just from seeing the pictures in my imagination. Yet, I ended up getting the lead taken by that inexperienced goddess and was forcibly kissed. Thatʼs humiliating.”

”You…” Airi finally lost all her energy and she spoke with a long face, ”Are you saying that youʼre experienced then? Didnʼt you say that it was your first kiss?”

”Yeah.” Shien nodded, ”Although itʼs true that itʼs my first kiss, that doesnʼt mean that I have no experience.”

After all, who wouldnʼt have done this and that?

For something like that, Shien has started simulating that kind of thing in his head since he was in his teens. If second and third hand experience counted, then he should count as having plenty of experience.

Donʼt forget, Shien is a ”well read” person after all.

Of course, none of that had anything to do with Airi.

”You really are bored.” Airi spoke without a hint of mercy, ”Whether youʼre troubled, regretful, or if you want to show off to someone, you should go find someone else instead and not disturb my sleep.”

”How heartless.” Shien spoke, dissatisfied, ”Whatʼs wrong with just chatting with me?”

”Then, do you think that itʼs appropriate to talk to me about this?” Airi countered.

”Ah…” Shien looked over the little girl in his lap and his expression turned awkward.

It seems… Perhaps… Maybe… Probably… Not all that appropriate…?

But since he already did it, Shien could only keep pushing forward.

”Arenʼt you a big shot? You should have been alive for far longer than you look, right? Then is there a problem with me asking an elder for advise?”

Shien actually said something like that.

”Elder…” Airi had stopped for a moment in response to that rare term. Her mood calmed down by quite a bit, ”It is indeed praiseworthy of you to treat me as an elder. Asking an elder for advice is also not wrong.”

It seems like Airi, who dislike being treated like a little kid, rather liked hearing that kind of thing.

However, when he saw Airi act like that, Shien couldnʼt help but do something foolish.

”That said though, do you actually have any experience in this subject?”

Shienʼs statement made Airi completely freeze on the spot.

”Oho?” Shien acted like he caught something as he spoke in a weird tone, ”From the looks of it, you shouldnʼt have any experience either. Even though youʼve lived for so long, you actually donʼt even have any experience when it comes to kissing huh. What a failure.”

Airiʼs brows jumped.

Shien didnʼt notice that and continued on in the same tone.

”Is it because your status is too high, so no one felt worthy?”

”Or is it because youʼre too strong, so no one dared?”

”Ah, I know. It must be because you looked too young, so no one would actually be interested… Ow!”

Finally, the carried away Hero received his punishment.

Airiʼs little fist buried itself into Shienʼs guts before blowing him away.

Shien blasted through the air, through the large room, blasting backwards right out of the room and slammed into the wall of the hallway outside.

”Bang!”

Following the loud bang, the door before Shien slammed shut, making it so that he could no longer see inside the room.

And Shien slid don from the wall and fell to the ground. He held his belly as he rolled around in pain.

”It hurts, it hurts! Why does it hurt this much!?”

Even though he had max leveled resistance skills blocking it, Shien still couldnʼt resit the pain coming from his stomach no matter what.

”Is this the penalty of angering a big shot?”

Shien was on the verge of tears.

”What?”

”What happened?”

At this point, someone seemed to have heard the commotion here and ended up running over.

Shien ducked his head and hurriedly pumped his legs to escape from the scene of the crime.

As for Airi, by now, she was no longer sleepy at all and instead sat up on the bed with a completely pissed off expression.

”He actually dared to say something like that to me?”

Airi was so angry that she puffed up her cheeks, making her instead look unbelievably cute.

Itʼs only too bad that no one could see it.

But Airi was still grumbling.

”Who says I have no experience? My big sisters are all always trying to kiss me!”

”Although itʼs only on the cheeks every time, itʼs still kissing!”

”Iʼve even kissed that person before too. That counts as kissing too, right?”

”Therefore, I do have experience. Definitely.”

Airi tried to comfort herself like that, but her mood just got worse and worse.

”He dares to look down on me. Just wait then.”

Airi then unhappily buried herself back under her blanket.

Maybe itʼs because of them playing around just now, but there was a bit of Shienʼs leftover scent in the bed.

And as she took in that scent, Airi both felt angrier and more comforted.

”What an abominable guy…”

After a while, Airi finally got back to sleep.

In her dreams, Airi was with a certain Hero, who was grinning evilly. They were apparently doing something to increase their experiences.
