Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 918: Chapter 24: The Next Plan (Part 1)

Vervi emerged from the biological blade in an incredibly disgusting manner, wrapped in green mucus, forcefully pulled out from the crack in the hilt, like a lump of feces.

And the state of ’this lump of feces’ was also very poor. Even without using the ’Investigation’ skill, it was clear that this one had lost at least three circles of weight, looking as if he had served dozens of rich ladies at once, face sallow and skinny, legs weak and powerless.

However, being a former member of the Shrek Star Thief Gang, even after taking a big hit from Gao Gong, his sunken eyes still glittered with vitality. His body half-crouched, reversing the blade back defensively, fighting like a cornered beast, a fierce aura filled the surrounding void.

Gao Gong naturally had no intention of taking out the opponent, so in less than a few seconds, an old sly Star Thief Leader appeared again, kneeling and bowing, constantly flattering Gao Gong with a sycophantic attitude.

And Gao Gong, using the opponent as a measure, assessed his own strength.

For a Tier 3 Carbon-Based powerhouse like this, under the Great Serpent Mode, suppressing the opponent was not an issue, but wanting to take them out was unlikely; never mind how cowardly Vervi appeared now, if he really tried to run, Gao Gong probably couldn’t kill him in this state.

The fact that the opponent surrendered directly at the time was largely because three Cybertron Starships’ cannons were directly aimed at him.

For such an 80~90 level, possessing 3~4 boss templates Tier 3 Carbon-Based powerhouse, there is actually an accurate positioning—

Interstellar Soldier King!

That is, the First Generation War God returns, sees his wife and daughter living in a kennel, and in anger, ten thousand players come to beat up the Soldier King.

To completely surround and kill such an interstellar powerhouse with three forms, indeed requires tens of thousands of players to beat up; after all, if he can’t beat you, won’t he run away?

And for Gao Gong, to exterminate such an ’Interstellar Soldier King’ in a short time, it would probably require entering ’Biomechanical Fusion Mode’.

’Under the Great Serpent Mode,’ Gao Gong’s talent + templates fully open, coupled with the preliminary fusion of biological energy and mechanical energy, the biomechanical energy is roughly around 23 million.

And in ’Biomechanical Fusion Mode’, the extracted pure biological energy * mechanical energy results in biomechanical energy approaching 1 billion, comparable to three fully powered starships.

At that time, even an old hand like Vervi in the Star Thief world would be crushed to death.

Of course, Gao Gong didn’t really want to kill the opponent; he just wanted to show his fists.

For Star Thieves, the simplest way to subdue them is by force.

After this battle, it was visibly noticeable that this guy became much more honest.

After sending the opponent away, Gao Gong then looked at the biomechanical armor dripping with metallic liquid, stroked his chin, and muttered to himself.

”It really still isn’t feasible, huh.”

Watching the biomechanical armor staggering down onto the deck of the Great Curved Saber, with the pod door opening and several logistic medical personnel jointly dragging out the metal-poisoned pilot, Gao Gong understood that this experiment was actually a failure.

In a sense, biomechanical armor is considered the first-generation product of ’Biomechanical Technology’. (Gao Gong is considered a theoretical pioneer)

Possessing powerful mechanical energy and strong biological energy, if a Super Mecha can step into the field of ’Biomechanical Unity’, biomechanical energy can directly break into the billions.

Just imagine, if there were hundreds of thousands or even millions of combat species with Tier 3 Civilization Weapon attack power, which same-level Civilization could resist?

Even against an Ascension Civilization, without using Ascension Technology, Gao Gong would dare to challenge them.

However, the evolution of biomechanical technology is not that easy.

Even with Gao Gong’s vision, the foundation of biomechanical technology from the Knight Order, and Du Gao Technology’s accumulation in the biological and mechanical fields, the biomechanical armor barely completed the first version of the transformation.

But this transformation is immature; for example, right now, the metal-poisoned pilot is the best example.

The current biomechanical armor cannot fully exert 12 million+12 million combat power.

Not to mention the fusion evolution of the two energies.

Thus, after research by the Du Gao Group’s research team, the first version of the plan was developed—the biomechanical virus plan.

Using the formidable infection power of the fifth-generation metal virus, allow mechanical bodies to infect organisms, creating resonance between the two.

Under this resonance, the mechanical energy of the biomechanical armor soared to 20 million, as demonstrated in the previous battle’s metal melting state.

If one really didn’t care about the survival of the armor and its pilot, this biomechanical armor could still fight against the Star Thief Leader.

With the combat power of a mechanical species able to contend with a three-template boss back and forth, such combat potential is imaginable.

This is not the limit yet.

But this operation also has very obvious side effects.

And ordinary Mecha pilots simply cannot withstand the infection of the fifth-generation metal virus.

’Why not use robots to replace normal Mecha pilots?’

Robots are not afraid of the metal virus.

Gao Gong’s expression was a bit strange, what is this, a nested doll, a Mecha nesting a robot?

... It’s not impossible, though.

’However, the modification technology of the Transformer Civilization has already reached its limit. To develop a ’biomechanical armor’ without any side effects at all, it would probably require Tier 3 Mechanical Technology—must also be professionally suitable.’

This is also why, when Gao Gong chose the type of Level 3 Mechanical Civilization, he opted for the Mechanic Civilization.

The reason is nothing else; the Mechanic Civilization is one of the few versatile civilizations among Mechanical Civilizations; more precious is that it’s not the kind of jack-of-all-trades, low upper limit civilization type, each technological direction can be developed deeply.

This includes Mecha Technology.

But the difficulty is also enormous.

Generally speaking, a civilization’s professional knowledge chain consists of 6 to 8 links.

The Mechanician Civilization’s professional knowledge chain consists of 12 links.

To develop the ’Mechanician Civilization’ to its limit, it likely requires twice as much time compared to other civilizations.

But for Gao Gong, this is not a problem.

With the cosmic relic ’Civilization Evolver’, all foundational theories come naturally to him.

Within the short span of two months, another two ’Professional Knowledge’ in the Starship Engineering chain were illuminated.

’Warp Navigation Research’

’Interstellar Communication Network’

The former needs no explanation; it’s essential pre-existing knowledge for developing ’light-speed travel’, involving various types of engines and power systems on the spaceship.

The latter is also important, as the main reason Gao Yuanyuan, his convenient little sister, is sealed within the computer is due to ineffective signals on the spaceship, which cannot support a Tier 3 Information Life.

With this information-side professional knowledge, Gao Gong can create an interstellar local area network using the spaceship as a ’signal station’, increasing signal strength to accommodate Tier 3 Information Life, even a Virtual Realm.

These two professional knowledge, along with the previously acquired ’Battleship Creation’, ’Interstellar Aerospace Station’, and ’Beehive AI’, nearly complete the entire professional knowledge chain.

Additionally, the professional knowledge obtained from the ’Civilization Evolver’ is inherently Level 10 full-level knowledge.

This is the benefit brought by the ’cosmic relic’.

What’s more intriguing is that although Gao Gong never acquired a cosmic relic in his previous life, as the Civilization Sovereign he somewhat heard about the locations of several cosmic relics yet to appear.

Yet, they are either in super cosmic danger zones like the Black Domain, or scattered across different world timelines, even in higher space-time dimensions.

And these places are beyond the reach of the current Gao Gong.

However, there is one cosmic relic that Gao Gong must obtain during the Level 3 Civilization stage.

Like the ’Civilization Evolver’, the effect of this cosmic relic is equally unparalleled.

In a certain sense, once obtained, both Gao Gong and the forces or civilization he subsequently establishes become ’unkillable’.

In a literal sense of ’unkillable’.

Having it, coupled with the super combat power brought by the fusion route,

Gao Gong might accomplish something that no one has since the establishment of the Civilization Council.

To challenge civilizations surpassing one’s own level.

This is theoretically impossible.

Despite great ambition, Gao Gong currently needs to focus on only two things.

The first is naturally to clear the interstellar route and proceed steadily to the Black Market located in the Five-Ring Stellar Vortex, to complete the next step required by the Mechanical Sovereign.

Actually, from the perspective of the Mechanical Sovereign, a ’Planet Host’ patrolling the Cyber Test Field within this star system isn’t very significant.

After all, the greatest advantage of the ’Supreme Being’ group against that Level 7 Civilization is information secrecy.

Therefore, there’s the Information Mother attempting to unleash the Cyber Tide and devour Mechanical Split Star.

But the problem is, the audacious reverse operations of Gao Gong, this transmigrator, are likewise unparalleled, successfully reversing this doomed scenario.

Once the news is sent out, the Mechanical Sovereign will undoubtedly know.

With the Mechanical Sovereign aware, naturally the Level 7 Civilization’s Master behind it will also be informed.

Even though Gao Gong doesn’t have much impression of the ’Level 7 Ancient Mechanical Civilization’s’ computing ability, their star system computer should not be able to reach the calculation strength for civilization future predictions.

However, for an ancient mechanical civilization possessing ’Perpetual Motion Technology’, they excel in brute force approaches.

Once the enemy target is confirmed, endless black holes can drown those ’Supreme Beings’.

If it were a race-type civilization, Gao Gong’s operation could allow him to rest on his laurels.

But that Level 7 Civilization happens to be a Mechanical Civilization, specifically an ’Authoritarian Dominator Civilization’.

Within the entire civilization, only a small amount of dominator consciousness exists.

Everyone else are mere tools.

Tool mode, which is essentially Gao Gong’s present situation.

However, this also has a positive aspect.

Which is, as long as Gao Gong remains covered, he won’t be suspected, feared, or dissected.

If it were a race-type civilization, such world-saving actions, once discovered by the civilization authorities, might lead to an entirely different ending.

Damn, you actually saved the world, how did you do it? Were you a transmigrator, which timeline did you cross over from? How long have you been here? Follow me to the operating table for a bit.

In the previous life, many players were exposed this way.
