Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 526: Chapter 59: The True Mechanical Goddess

When Xiao Yu, the stubborn girl, was in Nightless City, she did one thing: she chopped at the ’Continent Plate Impact Device’ with a knife, which was that super earthquake weapon over a hundred meters long and as thick as a dozen people could hug.

The effect... was basically equivalent to nothing.

At that time, Xiao Yu understood the truth of the world: big and thick is the way!

An Advanced Mechanical Body in her hands could eliminate up to a hundred Peacekeepers; but a Super Mecha had the power to destroy the heavens and the earth!

And what she didn’t know was that as she focused on operating, strands of golden radiance flowed through the mecha access ports on her body, covering hundreds of thousands of mecha modules, and wherever this golden energy enveloped, all the mecha parts seemed to come alive.

Behind these five Super Mechas, in an Advanced invisible fighter jet, Director Du, Ms. Qiao, the secretary Bean Sprouts, Daisila, and Qin Chunzi, these female executives were either calm, anxious, or thoughtful, and in front of them, the holographic screen was a battlefield miniaturized by 10,000 times.

Prison Island, a place used by the Holy Brain Group to imprison some super experimental subjects, is also the detention point for the Dark Girl.

Originally, based on the mental stability exhibited by the girl, she wouldn’t be detained here, but to increase the success rate of a certain internal experiment, the owner of Prison Island forcibly took the girl away.

And this is the real reason Ms. Qiao was willing to cooperate with Director Du.

However, at this moment, Director Du’s focus was not here, a large amount of data was transmitted into her brain through the battle, and as a Super AI and Super Engineer, in her eyes, this dangerous operation was just for weapon experimentation.

’The processing connection between each mecha module consumes more than a second, this part needs further improvement.’

’Indeed, integrated AI can only play an auxiliary role, not at all suited for complex combat. At least within five versions, an unmanned Super Mecha cannot be manufactured.’

’Energy weapons need enhancement, but this involves the use of ’active energy’, which is knowledge only mastered by top military contractors.’

’As for the controllers, their spiritual link efficiency is too low, can only exert up to 45% efficiency, yet Xiao Yu can exert 80%, is this the Destructive Energy he mentions?’

Director Du had long heard about ’Destructive Energy’ from someone’s mouth, according to them, this project has been researched by pre-civilization countries since World War II, aimed at countering the Mother City.

And in her eyes, Xiao Yu’s brain’s spiritual sensing as the operator was undergoing complex changes, this change made her naturally adapt to any Mechanical Body, she’s now understanding why this girl, only 16 or 17 years old, without undergoing harsh training, could have such high personal combat power.

’President Du, the defensive perimeter of Prison Island has been breached, but our people haven’t found the figure of the prison warden, aside from that, we’ve discovered some interesting things.’

Daisila’s slender body released a dozen Electronic Spiders, their compound eyes lighting up, emitting holographic projections, the images appearing in tunnels, prison cells, and even some research experiment sites.

”Ah!”

Ms. Qiao suddenly let out a scream as she saw a bloody and blurry image of a young girl in one of the projections, countless neural lines extended from the body, unconscious and swaying, yet the girl herself was undoubtedly dead.

”She’s not number 550, it should be her clone body. It seems your side is also quite interested in the incredible Spiritual Power on her,” Director Du said calmly.

It was a pointless remark, but the point of Director Du’s words was to indicate that others in the Holy Brain Group would similarly be interested in this girl, only by cooperating would be right.

After all, she was on the mechanical route.

Besides this screen, the other holographic projections also showed twisted corpses, fragmented clones, and even some bizarre forms like newborns with heads larger than their bodies.

And obviously, these tragedies weren’t caused by them.

At this moment, Director Du seemed to hear some words, she slightly lifted her head, and on the flying device, the Network Access Chambers of dozens of Neural Editors simultaneously lost contact, meanwhile, a large amount of signals began to merge, and a spherical prison model began to appear out of thin air, with a dozen escape routes marked out.

”I know.”

Director Du nodded, her gaze landed on an escape route at the bottom of the island, from this passage, the prison owner could even directly dive into the sea bottom.

”Indeed, a crafty rabbit has three burrows.”

Ms. Qiao also clearly saw this, pursed her lips, and said, ”Will she take Xiao Wu and escape directly?”

”Highly possible.”

Director Du nodded, said calmly, ”Initiate Plan B.”

Plan B?

In Ms. Qiao’s stunned eyes, a shallow ripple emerged on the sea surface, the ripple turned into a wave, the wave then turned into surging waves, even the sea surface, air, and seabed plate began to tremble.

In places unseen, countless metal drills ejected from the sea floor, thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, these drills lightning-fast plunged into the surface of Prison Island, and at mechanical joints spaced every ten meters, they began to spin rapidly.

At the same time, a dense swarm of metal robots sprayed out from the sea floor, these robots weren’t for attack, but for extensive seabed operations, with various reinforcement mechanisms attached to drill joints.

In just ten minutes, a huge metal network began to cover the entirety of the island, and as tens of thousands of metal drills interweaved, in Ms. Qiao’s shocked eyes, the waves on the sea surface surged wave upon wave, triggering several large ocean current vortices externally, and as copious amounts of hot bubbles ascended from the seabed, crimson cracks appeared on the seabed plate, a product of the Earth Core’s magma overflowing.

Super Mode (Thermal Energy Absorption): the bottom layer of the ’Earth Element Breakthrough Machine’ is composed of a ’Thermal Energy Absorption Device’, once infiltrated into the subterranean, this device activates, absorbing the Earth Core’s thermal energy from afar, power consumption -40%, power output +50%.

Terrifying thermal energy inevitably brings terrifying power, as the drill retrieval net takes shape, the seawater slowly divided, as if the ocean was being split in half, and under massive mechanical work, the entire Prison Island was surprisingly lifted and floated in mid-air.

Looking out, the water flowed like a waterfall, with Prison Island in the center of the waterfall, and at this moment, Prison Island had already transformed into a Floating Island, even the Level 40, Level 50 Defenders on the island showed expressions of shock and disarray.

Civilization Architecture, Civilization-Level Equipment, with power far exceeding any individual.

”Now, they can’t escape,” Director Du said without turning her head, leaving Ms. Qiao with a look of incredulity.

How could this emerging group possess such terrifying power!?

”Let’s go, land on the island.”

The cabin door opened, Director Du was just about to step out, but after taking two steps, suddenly darkness enveloped her vision.

”Hm?”

Observing the endless darkness in her field of view, Director Du frowned, someone had shut off her perception?

At the same time, Xiao Yu also awoke from the ’Human-Machine Unity’ state, startled and suddenly realized, all five Super Mechas had gone into fire-off state.

Director Du extended her hand, finding that the skin of her palm was slowly turning to ash, revealing some faint metallic texture, and her face was the same, the bionic skin began to disintegrate, exposing the characteristics of a Mechanical Body.

Director Du’s expression slowly darkened, she very much disliked her current appearance, especially disliking the exposure of her Mechanical Body.

At the next moment, terrifying movements emerged from the seabed, transforming into a massive thousand-meter wave, and on the sea floor, a colossal entity slowly revealed itself, and under the influence of the colossal entity, the island even began to tear apart.

Simultaneously, the five Super Mechas suddenly lit up, surprisingly entering ’auto-pilot mode’ all at once, and this mode, currently only Director Du can control—this belongs to the power of ’Mechanical Divinity’.

The more the Mechanical Camp accumulates, the stronger the Machine Will becomes, and the more divinity accumulates.

That’s also why Gao Gong, before leaving Iron Sand Desert, had to transform Director Du into the human-form Machine Will.

In some sense, Director Du is the strongest in the Mechanical Hunter camp, because as long as she wishes, she can forcibly board and control even Gao Gong’s top-level Mechanical Body.
