Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

In the universe, civilizations come in myriad forms, species in various mutations, there are extinctionists, quantum civilizations, colonial civilizations, and the struggles among the Four Great Civilizations have never ceased.

Even though these are relatively distant matters, behind Mechanical Split Star, there ultimately stands an Advanced Mechanical Civilization.

Thus, Mechanical Transformation and Bionic Transformation have become fashionable, with mechanical lifeforms holding a superior status in most Mechanical Cities.

Even the number of bionic men is about to surpass that of the primordial people.

But this is not absolute.

Though it’s true that a mechanical civilization is advanced, the purpose of building an experiment field was actually to illuminate some high-end technology outside of the mechanical system.

Therefore, on this planet, most enterprises, especially super enterprises, do not follow the mechanical route.

For instance, the Four Great Biological Giants are typical of a biological civilization orientation, mastering some technologies that even some Level 2 Carbon-based Civilizations lack.

This is something that the Advanced Civilization is happy to see as well.

To reach the level of a Giant Corporation, it’s impossible not to understand this point; they realize that provoking the Mother City on a technological level is something those above are happy to see.

This concept of climbing other technology trees spreads from higher-ups to subordinates, and its scope begins to expand.

So within the giant corporations, a culture that despises mechanical life has emerged.

Thus, it is natural that Gao Gong was looked down upon at first, but when he demonstrated his technology in biological transformation, the disdain immediately disappeared.

Kid! Although you wear foreign clothes, your heart remains a ’biological heart’!

”Hahaha, Little G, you are a master of biological transformation, so why did you turn yourself into a mechanical species?”

”As I said, while researching a super organism, I accidentally got contaminated by a biological virus and had to upload my consciousness to a mechanical body to save my life.”

Gao Gong stated the reason he had long prepared.

”A biological virus, that’s no good. You should avoid these things from now on,” Jin Ba remarked without suspicion, but then something seemed to come to her mind, showing a look of disgust, and unconsciously exerting force with her arm, causing Gao Gong’s waist to creak.

’Be gentle, my body is not durable,’ Gao Gong said helplessly.

”Hahaha, don’t worry, I’m very gentle!”

Jin Ba said this while casually punching and breaking a lamppost in the way and then made a huge dent in a rooftop with a step before she started sprinting across skyscrapers, leaping tens of meters at a time, and leaving large holes with each grab.

Even demolition machines aren’t this efficient.

Except for her skin not being green, her physique and style bear no difference to a ’She-Hulk.’

...

Gao Gong’s identity has now changed; he has become an official member of the Jin Ba team in the Throne Department’s Liangzhou Branch, skipping the temporary member status.

It is worth mentioning that, due to Jin Hanhan’s violent temper, even more so than men, Jin Ba’s team temporarily has him as the sole official member.

They were carrying out company missions.

Target location: Liangzhou City, Biological Zone 104.

The reason Jin Ba took Gao Gong along was simple. Little G had just performed an adjustment on her organism, and without him, what if something went wrong?

This was a perfectly dignified reason.

Unlike Nightless City, where there is a glaring wealth gap with rats running rampant in one part while there are bright lights and revelry in another, and the Old Town District and Business District are like two different worlds,

in Liangzhou City, all buildings are crafted with 4D technology, and the dark red materials cover almost everything visible to the naked eye, with nearly no distinction between districts.

Logically, the color ’dark red’ can easily remind one of blood, murder, and death. Especially large areas of the same color can easily cause physiological discomfort.

However, according to Gao Gong’s observation, this is not the case. Instead, the people here generally have ruddy complexions and a higher life force; if the physical condition of an ordinary adult is rated at 5, these people’s condition would be 6 or 7, on par with athletes.

This is even before any modifications.

Compared to other places, in Liangzhou City, modified humans are quite rare, thus resulting in exceptionally good public security. There aren’t any gangs blasting away with robotic prostheses on the streets.

In the tumultuous Mechanical Split Star, this is simply incredible.

Gao Gong nodded silently.

Many have forgotten that technological advancement, regardless of the aspect, is ultimately for the service of humanity.

Mentioning biotechnology, most people think of biological viruses, biochemical crises, and even radiation-mutated monsters.

These things do exist, but to be precise, they are by-products of biotechnology advancement; no intelligent species’ technology tree is aimed at self-extinction.

But is it really that simple?

This is a Cyber Test Field, after all.

The densely packed signal towers on every street indicate that this is not an ordinary city.

The biological signals here are alarmingly dense; standard electronic equipment and prostheses become ’unable to connect’ in this place.

This is why information stations are needed, as the use of chips in this city is restricted.

In a sense, this counts as a ’No Mechanical Weapon Zone.’

With a loud crash, Jin Ba descended from the sky, smashing the ground into cracks that extended toward their greeter.

The one greeting them was a small robot less than half a meter tall, with tiny hands and feet and large electronic eyes looking exceedingly adorable.

”Hello, Captain Jin Ba, and this... uh, G team member.”

”You know me?” Gao Gong expressed some surprise.

”Uh-huh, although the way you entered the city wasn’t exactly legal, since this is my Mechanical City, I know the identity of outsiders,” the other adorably said, a pure look on its face.

”Your Mechanical City?”

”Yes, Mr. G, nice to meet you. My name is Kaibao, and I am the Mechanical Main Brain of this Mechanical City.”

”Haha, Kaibao, you look pretty lively,” Jin Ba laughed heartily, rubbing its little forehead, while Kaibao immediately showed a comfortable expression, its electronic eyes forming ’(>_
