Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 430: Chapter 176: War Hacker (Part 2)

Unlike ordinary cyber space, the underlying network resembles a boundless large net, covered entirely with constantly shifting numbers.

Or, more specifically, constantly changing ’1’s.

Compared to the binary system of computers, initially, the human brain was actually unary. The complex calculations you think the human brain is performing are actually 1111111111=10.

This is the infant processing system.

”Little one, what exactly do you want to do? You can’t stay here for long, you know?”

Eliza’s voice sounded again.

Indeed, within seconds, the surface of the Rich Lady Love Prototype was mostly covered in green 1s.

Once completely covered, it would become fully assimilated with the network’s lower levels like a Cyber Killer, beyond salvation even for gods.

”Sister Eliza, the human brain is actually multinary. With the evolution of species, the base of the human brain is also evolving.”

With the words of the Rich Lady Love Prototype, the ’1’ on its chest flickered and abruptly turned into 2.

In the next moment, all the numbers on Gao Gong’s body began to mutate, jumping from 1 to 2.

”I’m not sure if the computers on this planet are binary, but where we come from, computers use binary.”

Soon, the numbers on Gao Gong’s body changed to 3.

Ternary computers do indeed exist; the earliest Soviet computers were ternary, and in fields like AI and the quantum domain, ternary is far more applicable than binary.

In binary, 0 and 1 represent logical off and on, respectively.

In ternary logic, however, 1 represents true, -1 represents false, and 0 represents unknown.

This makes ternary computers more conducive to AI emergence.

Generally speaking, if a Cyber Hacker can upgrade part of themselves to ’ternary’, it’s already quite impressive.

This indicates you have an ’AI organ’, sharing abilities with AI in some dimensions, such as seamless reading of machine languages or issuing commands to unmanned machines.

However, on Gao Gong’s body, during countless fluctuations, the number became ’4’.

The nucleotide number in DNA is—4.

In the next moment, the surface of Gao Gong’s body began to fluctuate wildly, like garbled code, yet seemingly following a certain pattern.

Just like the life code of humans.

And as the ’code’ kept evolving.

Part of Gao Gong’s body began informatization, a transformation not restricted to any specific organ or limb, as the ’number 4’ flickered randomly.

With each flicker to a location, that area became completely digitalized.

”Marvelous!” Eliza praised.

To make this well-informed Miss Cyberpedia say such, Gao Gong’s methods are, at least on this planet, unique.

In the next moment, the system prompt sound echoed—

[’Virtual Sensing’ is being generated—]

[Host incorporating ’Biological Random Variables’, ’Virtual Sensing’ undergoing mutation]

[Mutation completed, ’Virtual Sensing’ evolved into ’Biological Information Flow Organ’]

Biological Information Flow Organ: The host can enhance the biological information of a specific body part, undergoing informatization transformation, and any transformed part becomes virtual sensing.

Others have only one ’Virtual Sensing’, while Gao Gong, if desired, can make any body part a ’Virtual Sensing’.

This is the operation of a boss.

Gao Gong glanced down, and a sudden thought popped into his head.

No no no, this idea is too bold; he’s not a stupid player who can respawn after suicide.

In Gao Gong’s memory, there was such a literal killing idiot player.

Moreover, a series of system prompt sounds arose.

The profession of ’Cyber Hacker’ finally completed its Second Transformation.

[Large Mechanical System Source Code (1/1)]

[Virtual Sensing (1/1)]

[Cyber Renegade promoted to lv10, completion of job-changing task, rewards: agility +4, intelligence +4, perception +4 ]

[Please select your career path from the following three advanced professions: Intrusion Hacker (System Intruder)/Death Hacker (Life Intruder)/War Hacker (War Intruder)]—Appendix-Special Traits of Advanced Professions P22~P42

The domain of these three kinds of hackers is entirely different. Intrusion Hacker intrudes on corporate servers, advanced databases, even cyber networks, requiring extensive preparatory work and bonus effects on creating various virus software.

A Death Hacker is a standard ’Network Ruffian’, ’Network Killer’, enabling murder across the network with unpredictable methods and defenses, regardless of whether Primordial People, Bionic Man, or AI are their targets. They are assassins among hackers, good at random changes.

A War Hacker enhances various chip performances like Prosthetic Body Overheating, Electromagnetic Short Circuits, spontaneous shell combustion, probe intrusion; when trained to the peak, they can extensively control enemy weapons for themselves, hence deciding a war’s outcome.

Every Military Contractor invariably worships War Hackers, with numbers ranging from a few to dozens.

No choice, no matter how advanced the weapons are, using them against oneself is a huge problem.

Generally speaking, the best match for Gao Gong would undoubtedly be ’Intrusion Hacker’.

However, Gao Gong’s ultimate choice was ’War Hacker’.

[Choice completed, you’ve chosen to change professions to ’War Hacker’, Personality -10, Corporate Reputation +1000, Battlefield Reputation +200, gained title: Information War Pioneer]

Information War Pioneer—The form of war inevitably changes, but regardless of how it morphs, it’s always about changing the way information is accessed, and you will transform the battlefield form through information changes.

[You have acquired professional specialization, ’Secret War’, soldier type compatibility +10%, invasion success rate +15%, firepower enhancement +30%, as the shadow of war, your presence increases the probability of winning a war]

[You have advanced knowledge in[Electronic Information Engineering]]

[You have advanced knowledge in[Military AI Manufacturing]]

[You have advanced knowledge in[Encryption Technology]]

”It’s time to completely solve the problem.”

...

In the sky above, a figure was electric-shooting towards Nightless City.

”Boss.”

”Hmm?”

”If I accidentally damage your body again, you won’t be angry, will you?”

”What do you think I implanted memory metal for?” A mechanical head on the knife handle spoke human words.

”So, girl, just let loose!”

The Battle Angel took a deep breath; in the next instant, hundreds of energy jet ports lit up simultaneously.

Then retracted sharply.

Next, three pairs of Wings of Light blasted out from the back!

Mechanical Energy began to surge wildly, seemingly with no cap.

When Xiao Yu’s three battle templates are combined with the two boss templates of Gao Gong into one, a monster was born.

The figure flashed and vanished.

A whole ten seconds later.

A massive explosion echoed in place.

...

Illusionary Union’s experts seemed absent from this war.

The reason is simple, they were invading the Main Brain Core—physically.

Besides the network layer and corporate tier warfare, the traditional battlefield was in the Main Brain Area.

After the first two battlefields reached stalemates, the final battlefield became exceptionally important.

Under the covering fire of missile rains, countless mechanical eyeliners exploded directly.

Under the waning influence of the Mechanic, the Mechanical Legion started to disobey orders, with some even switching sides.

Led by the 3rd Generation Steel Claw, all experts attacked the core of the Main Brain Area.

”Boss, are we really not going on the field?”

On Old Pawa’s shoulder, Thumb Killer Don fondled his tiny handgun, feeling a bit itchy.

Old Pawa picked his nose with a hey smile: ”Who said we aren’t going? Second and Ninth are all up there, right?”

On the battlefield, a special biological unit emerged, its members resembling skinned, fleshy bats, capable of piercing through even steel in their wake.

This was the security force of Hong’s Biological Group.

Powerful Gang’s number two, Chairman of Hong’s Biological Group, Hong Bing.

Powerful Gang’s number nine, Nameless Young Man.

These two ignored Old Pawa’s orders, actively choosing to join the battlefield.

”Seems like Hong Bing has long been thinking of switching sides,” Naga said coldly.

”Those two fools,” Don sneered.

”And that one.”

Following Old Pawa’s direction, a knockoff G was individually piloting three military machines, wreaking havoc.

”That idiot!”

Several people rolled their eyes simultaneously, not helping either side; he was attacking everything, mechanical eyeliners, large robots, or the Steel Claw Gang’s Mechanical Claw People, and even Hong Bing’s men!
