Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 405: Chapter 160: Attraction Among the Strong

Crime City

After the fall of the Twin Tower, the city welcomed a new wave of faction wars.

The reason for the war was none other than the increasing evidence showing that the six crime organizations responsible for guarding back then, the Mountain Beak Group, Black Smoke Faction, Biochemical Geisha Group, A-Type Motorcycle Faction, Samurai Group, and Red Stone Group, had obtained the ’Speakerless’ inheritance.

Faction wars are an upgraded version of gang wars; unlike Peacekeepers, they can only be a small part of corporate wars.

Faction wars are more wild, more unrestrained, and generally only appear between military factions.

Therefore, it also has a title, called the ’Weapons Testing Ground’.

The ever-escalating faction war in Crime City reached a peak when the Red Stone Group’s building was showered with missile rain.

According to investigations, this new type of missile system is installed on the Armed Space Station.

That is to say, the intensity of the war has increased.

From street fights directly upgraded to total war.

The Red Stone Group directly dispatched a large number of armed mercenaries from headquarters to join the war and also opened a remote weapon system.

When Nightless City players came to Crime City and watched the missile rain streaking across the sky from time to time, they were dumbfounded.

Is the new map this exciting?

Scared me to quickly save a backup point.

The new map’s factions suddenly opened up to six, the Mountain Beak Group, Black Smoke Faction, Biochemical Geisha Group, A-Type Motorcycle Faction, Samurai Group, and Red Stone Group.

Other organizations require certain procedures to recruit people, but these six organizations, being besieged by the whole city, had long reached the loss limit of members, and basically did not refuse anyone who wanted to join.

The addition of these thousands of players instantly injected a powerful force into these six major organizations.

Not only are they themselves strong, what’s even more terrifying is that these players are actually immortal.

Compared to the native players of Crime City, these Nightless City players were more straightforward, taking on tasks directly instead of thinking about how to kill the task giver and claim rewards across the process.

Of course, these six crime organizations weren’t idle either, while resisting the siege of the whole city’s crime organizations, they dispatched backbones to search for members of the Evil Jade Clan.

In their view, the only reason for the current situation is that the Evil Jade Clan embezzled the ’Speakerless’ inheritance, replacing it quietly, leading to the current scenario.

And Baozi, just joined the A-Type Motorcycle Faction, was dispatched to a classified project.

It’s not that he is trusted much, but the Motorcycle Faction, a nomadic organization, most lacks this kind of support profession, such as — Prosthetic Doctor.

”This is what you need to research.”

A big-bearded man led Baozi into a transformed little black room, solemnly handing over a box.

”This is the ’inheritance’ we manage to find at a high cost from the core of some gang; if you can crack it, you will be one of us in the Motorcycle Faction!”

The big-bearded Transformer spoke with a serious face.

Inheritance?

The Mechanical Main Brain’s inheritance?

This awesome?

Baozi opened it and his expression gradually became strange.

This chip, isn’t it the latest research result of the boss, the ’Laughing Bat’ chip?

...

Within the Biochemical Geisha Group, former Welfare Gang members, I am a Big Muscle Dominator and Red Flower Demon, were squatting at the door, staring at the surrounding beauties with a pig-like face.

Big Muscle Dominator couldn’t help but wipe his mouth, excitedly saying, ”So there really is a gang in this world with so little cloth, had I known earlier, I would’ve come over sooner, this is great!!”

”Yeah, yeah,” Red Flower Demon nodded like a pecking chicken, carrying an old-fashioned electromagnetic rifle on his shoulder, which was Uncle Jack’s retired weapon; though it looked unremarkable, it was a standard ’rare-level’ weapon, although the CD time was long, a single shot could cause a two-thousand damage, absolutely terrifying.

”Alcohol is poison to the intestines, lust is a steel knife scraping the bone, look at you now!” Plane said disdainfully.

Big Muscle Dominator and Red Flower Demon exchanged a glance, unusually didn’t retort.

No other reason, three days ago, the Rainy Night Lord, who was receiving advanced assassin training at headquarters, revealed a message.

That was that he had already broken through level 20, officially becoming a B-level assassin within the group.

At least on the Mechanical Split Star, he is probably the first player to break through.

Then yesterday, Plane told them he also completed the job change task, becoming a boss among players.

Its level of shock was completely not inferior to their realization that in the game, you can seriously engage in adult content.

We agreed to all be slackers, why have you secretly become stronger, you haven’t lost many hairs, have you? What did you lose, your conscience?

And the main reason they could join the Biochemical Geisha Group this time, and even get high-level employment tasks, was because Plane single-handedly wiped out a small mercenary group of 30 people.

The Biochemical Geisha Group spent a lot of money to buy reputation, and bought two horseshoes, that is, the two of them.

Can’t afford to mess with a pro carrying people through dungeons.

Very soon, Plane added, ”Those plastic surgery girls are coming over.”

The two didn’t ask how the other knew, as the gigantic eagle hovering in the sky can see everything.

A level 30 mutant eagle baby, they also wanted it!

But Plane wouldn’t reveal where the eagle baby came from, when pressed he’d just say he birthed it himself.

Do you think we’re stupid!!

Big Muscle Dominator looked at the flying eagle in the sky, speaking with a face full of jealousy: ”The unknowing would think your surname is Yang.”
