Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 20: Chapter 14: High-speed Microcomputer Tiger

”Ugh, ugh ugh...”

Beside the Grass Cutting Hunter Blade 430, Black Rose frowned, looking at Little Finger who was completely out of sorts, vomiting on the ground.

It turned out that being a simp wasn’t that easy. When this latest model of heavy motorcycle from Nightless City accelerated to 350 km/h in 2.3 seconds, he had completely forgotten what the touch of that small waist felt like.

And when the Grass Cutting Hunter Blade 430 soared to half Mach speed in 30 seconds, Little Finger found himself in a daze as if he had arrived in Heaven.

Upon seeing the suspicious yellow stains on the rear seat, Black Rose’s eye twitched fiercely.

”Next time you dare sit on my bike, I’ll kill you!”

With that, Black Rose directly entered the Old Metal Recycling Station.

Just as Gao Gong knew where Black Rose’s garage was, Black Rose also knew Gao Gong’s secret hideout.

After all, they had secretly met in both places.

However, Gao Gong’s recent series of actions made Black Rose feel somewhat unfamiliar.

Self-abandonment? Striving for self-improvement?

It seemed like neither.

This unfamiliar feeling of being out of control made her somewhat displeased.

The only thing she knew was that this little man had somehow acquired a large amount of Mechanical Coin recently and had spent a fortune in the military warehouse.

”Wait, wait for me,” Little Finger, soaked from head to toe, caught up, and upon hearing the familiar ’buzzing’ sound, immediately flew into a rage.

”Oh, this boy is messing with my operating table again; does he know how expensive this thing is? There’s not another one like it in the entire Automobile City!”

Black Rose casually walked over to the metal shed and saw Gao Gong, shirtless on top, with a scalpel in his left hand. The subject of his operation was his right hand.

Half of his hand was cut open, revealing titanium hand bones, and the neural lines in the palm were tangled around the finger bones like electrical wires.

It seemed that Gao Gong was performing a delicate neural adjustment operation. Besides his left hand, three mechanical arms on the operating table were busy—a knife, a needle, and one suturing muscle, their movements dazzling the eye.

Black Rose opened her mouth, but Little Finger, suddenly serious, pressed her shoulder and said earnestly:

”In front of the operating table, never make loud noises.”

Then his expression fell, face filled with disbelief, mumbling incomprehensibly.

”This can’t be, can’t be, over fifty modules on the operating table, all figured out in less than a week?”

”And it’s a triple operation; I’ve been doing transformation surgeries for over ten years, only able to operate three surgical arms at once, how can this kid do it!”

”What is that embedded in the center of the metacarpal? A neural modulator?”

Black Rose said nothing, moving around the area.

Mobile sterile room, sensory deprivation equipment, neural inhibitors, all were military medical devices.

Electromagnetic cutter, mini-forging machine, high-temperature stamping machine, Magnetic Resistance Stone, chromium iron, military-grade fireproof fabric...

One particular object caught Black Rose’s attention—a black glove, with the outer surface likely made of some kind of Radiation Beast skin, and the inside with soft fur from another Radiation Beast, feeling like a ball of cold cotton—except the palm was a bit hard.

Each of the glove’s four fingers had a round connecting device, indicating the glove was only half of some equipment, with the other half—

Black Rose quickly found the other half—it was a chainsaw-like brass knuckle, or perhaps, a brass knuckle-like chainsaw?

The four interfaces on the ’brass knuckle’ fit perfectly with the glove’s finger backs, and she also knew what the hard thing in the palm was.

It was a miniature energy board.

A woman who liked heavy motorcycles was inherently fond of violence, and Black Rose glanced around, wanting to find something to practice on.

’Zzzt, zzzt—’

With the successful implantation of the Neural Accelerator, Gao Gong breathed a sigh of relief, tapped a few times on the operating table, and the three surgical mechanical arms retreated. Two small suturing arms came over, like an old tailor, sewing meticulously on the palm.

Highly focused, Gao Gong was unaware of his surroundings; there were usually no visitors here.

As soon as he relaxed, a bald head popped in.

Gao Gong’s consciousness barely had time to react before his recently operated right hand sprang into action, lightning-fast, with five fingers gripping the intruder’s neck like a clamp, lifting him up.

”You... cough cough... let go!!” Little Finger’s face turned visibly red, then blue.

”Oh, sorry, my bad, oops—”

The sewn fingers began to bleed again, Gao Gong took a sharp breath, quickly grabbing a sterile cloth to cover his palm.

”You know how you always appear out of nowhere, can’t you call out first?”

Looking at the high-handed complaining Gao Gong, Little Finger couldn’t help rolling his eyes, but there was no time to argue. He grabbed the other’s shoulder and asked urgently: ”Did it succeed? How did you do it? How is it possible, what surgery scheme did you use?”

A Prosthetic Doctor’s surgical plan isn’t just a set of procedures; it involves the design, tuning of the prosthetic, integration with the human body system, even the development and implantation of programs.

Simply put, to design a surgical plan, you need a team consisting of a Mechanic, physiotherapist, and Neuro Transformer.

Most Prosthetic Doctors would be hard-pressed to design a plan even after installing a hundred sets of the same prosthetic.

He’s been a Prosthetic Doctor for nearly twenty years and only has three presentable surgery plans, and the others have design flaws or other ’unknown’ issues.

Gao Gong wiped his palm while checking the surgical results on the system panel.

[Completed a Neural System Transformation, Neural System Transformation Rate +1%]

In the eight major systems, for every 1% increase in the transformation rate, Life Value increases by 20 points, and stamina by 10 points.

Tactile Nerve Flow Enhancer: By adjusting the palm’s neural network, it accelerates neuron transmission, making it more suitable for holding weapons, Perception +1, attack speed of melee weapons +10%, Critical Strike Rate +5%.

”Wanna learn? I’ll teach you,” Gao Gong suddenly said.

Little Finger was stunned, ”You’ll teach me?”

This dumb kid doesn’t realize how valuable the ’plan’ is!

”Oh, right, I still owe you six thousand Mechanical Coins, right? Card or cash?”

Little Finger was shocked again, this kid actually wants to pay back the money?!

I knew this surgery couldn’t be successful!

The personality itself was modified, the sequelae of this surgery are huge!

Just as Gao Gong was about to say something, there was a ’boom’ explosion, the sound — like a cannonball had fallen near the recycling station.

In the stunned eyes of the two, a spherical bulge appeared first on the edge of the metal recycling station wall, large as a water tank; then, with the entire protruding area as the core, countless cracks emerged, growing larger, covering the entire wall.

In the next instant, the wall collapsed with a roar, revealing Black Rose wearing gloves.

’Wow, this Power must be over 30!’

Gao Gong looked at this scene in astonishment, speechless for a long time.

No wonder she could keep the original owner of this Double Flower Red Staff, Sister Rose here, is quite impressive.

Black Rose rubbed her slender wrist, as if the originally monstrous strength didn’t exist, walked in front of the two, and threw the gloves over.

”Debug them, use better materials, up the power, and then deliver it to me.”

”Uh—no problem.”

Gao Gong really wanted to refuse, but he didn’t want to die. Fortunately, he had prepared two sets of materials beforehand, making another wouldn’t be a big deal.

Just, looking at the twisted serrations on the ’Microcomputer Tiger,’ he thought to himself, what kind of good material it must be to withstand your kind of violence.

Name: High-speed Microcomputer Tiger

Category: Mechanical Boxing Gloves

Quality: Fine

Weight: 4.4kg

Basic Attributes: DPS:120 Attack Power:24, Attack Speed: 5 attacks/second Attack Range: 0.7 meters

Add-on Mode: High-Power Mode

Plugin Slot: None

Note: You can tell by looking at you didn’t study well as a child, that’s how you developed this thing.

High-Power Mode: Also known as Chainsaw Mode, in this mode, Attack Power +15, Armor-Piercing Rate +40% Critical Strike Rate +25%, and a 60% chance to cause a Bleeding Effect.

Note 2: What’s a ’Saw’ franchise compared to you, you’re the real flesh cutter.

As you can see, the system really likes this thing, or it wouldn’t have added notes twice.

This gadget was probably thought up by quite a brutal player, putting a chainsaw on your hand, you can only say the effect is quite adults-only.

The ’Red Unicorn’ is fine for dealing with large Radiation Beasts, but when encountering small and medium-sized, high attack speed ones, this heavy broadsword is just going to be caught blind.

And a glove that both pierces armor and protects oneself is the most suitable self-defense tool.

”What are you talking about?”

Little Finger came back to his senses and quickly said, ”This kid’s surgery failed, the brain’s neural system was severely damaged, not only does he have to pay me back the money, but he also has to teach me the surgical plan for free.”

Gao Gong’s face darkened, almost couldn’t resist hitting him.

Black Rose, on the other hand, saw through everything clearly, directly said, ”Speak your needs.”

Gao Gong shrugged, took out a glass box from the drawer below, inside was a bionic eyeball that looked like a real eyeball.

”An enhanced version of my previous Prosthetic Eye, not only does it have an aiming function, but it also added night mode and infrared vision.”

”Changing my own eye, the difficulty is a bit much, I’m not Xiahou Dun.”

Unfortunately, no one got the joke.

Black Rose looked at Little Finger: ”Deal?”

Little Finger still feeling reluctant: ”You organize the plan first, and let me see if there are any issues.”

”The blueprint, oh no, the surgical plan is in the drawer, see for yourself.”

”How did you manage to do it?”

”Do you think he’d tell you this kind of secret?” Black Rose turned the key in her hand, suddenly laughed, ”Come on, I’ll take you for a spin.”

”Alright,” Gao Gong shrugged, naturally wrapped his left hand around Black Rose’s waist, his five fingers pressing down, sinking in, then bouncing back, quite elastic.

”Don’t look at me like that,” facing Little Finger’s fiery eyes, Gao Gong glanced at the opponent’s crotch, the mark was quite obvious.

”I gave you the chance but you couldn’t use it.”
