The situation here has caught the attention of many Pokemon in the ranch.

Soon, Z2, in its 10% form, was surrounded.

The surrounding Pokemon all cast curious glances at it.

Z2 was somewhat tense.

At this moment, it heard the human speak.

”When did you come here?”

Naoki asked with interest.

Whether it was Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, or Ho-oh, they were all attracted to the World Tree on the day it matured.

If he wasn’t mistaken, Zygarde probably noticed the situation here at that time too.

Thus, it dispatched its cells and core to observe.

And as Naoki predicted, this was indeed the case.

Perhaps due to its months of secret observation, the Z2 before him seemed quite familiar with him.

After a brief contemplation, Z2 spoke.

”Last summer.” It said via Telepathy.

Upon hearing this, Naoki thought silently to himself, so the World Tree matured at that time.

”Did you come to observe the situation?” he asked again.

Z2, remaining in its 10% Doberman form, looked at the human with its pale eyes and nodded its canine head.

At that time, it had been staying in unobtrusive places, silently observing this place and the humans living here.

Because it could sense a very rich natural aura here.

Originally, this land did not have cells present.

But later, Zygarde dispatched more cells after it to better observe the World Tree and this region’s ecosystem.

”I see...” Naoki nodded thoughtfully.

Yet, Z2 sensed a hint of peculiarity from his actions and words.

”You know me.” It stated confidently.

”Of course I know you.” Naoki didn’t hide it: ”One of Zygarde’s cores, a watcher of the ecosystem; if I’m not wrong, you were also drawn here by a natural aura, right?”

Z2 noted the human’s choice of words.

”Also?”

Aside from it, had others been attracted here?

But upon careful thought, it made sense; such a significant occurrence would inevitably draw the attention of powerful entities.

”In human terms, they are probably Pokemon on the same level as you, aren’t they?”

Naoki considered for a moment and continued: ”Oh well, for Little Soft’s sake, I’ll take you to visit that place!”

Based on his observations, neither Zygarde in this form nor Groudon could fly to reach the World Tree.

”Little Soft?” Z2 slightly paused.

Naoki: ”It fused into you just now.”

Z2: ”...”

Z2 was internally conflicted; it understood the human’s implication.

But that was merely its cell, a part of its body without its own consciousness.

”Let’s go!” Naoki glanced at the time, feeling that he could first take Zygarde for a tour of the World Tree before heading to Groundblight Shrine.

Z2 didn’t say much, and silently followed the human.

In its view, this human was different from others.

Other humans are disruptors who ruin ecological order, but this Naoki was someone chosen by nature.

The human and the Pokemon traveled through the Reversed World and quickly arrived at the World Tree.

Upon stepping out of the passageway, Z2 widened its eyes, looking around.

Because it sensed an overpowering natural aura, akin to nature itself.

Staying here felt as comfortable as returning to a mother’s embrace.

”There is such a place, even I didn’t know...” Z2 murmured.

Above was a gigantic canopy blocking out the sun, and the sunlight filtered through the gaps, making the area appear dreamlike.

What shocked Z2 even more was that so many Pokemon lived here!

They planted Berries here, cultivated the land, living orderly lives!

”This is the interior of the World Tree; the natural aura you felt before comes from this tree.” Naoki introduced with a smile.

”So that’s how it is...”

After a brief shock, Z2 quickly regained its composure.

”The ecosystem of this world was on the verge of collapse; on the land where I stayed, traces of negative energy cores had already appeared.”

”Negative energy cores?” Naoki looked at the nearby canine.

Z2 nodded and continued: ”They are phenomena produced after the ecosystem is damaged.”

”The land would grow many giant plants; humans and Pokemon cannot see them, only I can.”

”Until now, I had been monitoring the ecosystem.”

Naoki nodded, remembering that in the anime, Ash’s Greninja could see the negative energy cores and was left by Zygarde to help cut them down.

”But now, after this tree matured, all that negative energy vanished. I believe its released power repaired the damaged ecosystem.” Z2 said softly.

This didn’t surprise Naoki too much.

After all, the description of the World Tree includes such effects; upon maturing, it causes changes throughout the entire world.

Regarding ecological restoration, that might be one such change.

”That’s a good thing.” Naoki said.

Z2 didn’t retort: ”Whatever the case, I must express my gratitude to you.”
