Not Being a Trainer This Time

The Teddiursa, which previously heard from the Pokemon on the sea that there were many treasures there, immediately set its sights on the destination, eager to pick up the treasures.

Once the Heroic Expedition Team left, the World Tree returned to its usual calm.

The Pokemon there lived an orderly life.

Mewtwo continued guarding the World Tree, Ho-oh often traveled far away, Rayquaza mostly perched atop the canopy except when gnawing on meteorites in the cosmos, while Giratina remained a big influencer in the shadows of the World Tree.

And Groudon and Kyogre, having nothing better to do, spent all day arguing in their group chat.

Naoki thought, as long as they weren’t fighting, everything was fine, just let them vent their excess energy.

With the arrival of spring, the fields on the ranch began to be cultivated again.

This year, the seed shop in town had a batch of new seeds.

Such as cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, baby bok choy, gourds, and so on.

Naoki, curious about the novelty, decided to buy some of each to try planting them at home, hoping perhaps the gourds would mutate and grow into seven-colored gourds, producing seven gourd children.

Seeing that he had bought so much, the seed shop owner Elo even gave him a few extra bags of seed.

Back at the ranch, Naoki immediately began planting.

It was still Dugtrio responsible for tilling the soil, while Naoki, with Koraidon and Cyclizar, planted the seeds in the fields, then had Dragonite use Rain Dance for watering, finally entrusting Gogoat to cultivate with Grass Energy.

Naoki planned to finish planting this plot before beginning Raifort’s commission to capture those four Ruinous Pokemon, using Reversing Cuisine to transform them into Pokemon that could bring auspicious signs to the ranch.

As for the ranch in the Alola Region...

No rush to go there now; it’s primarily for winter vacations, and winter has already passed, so there’s no need for a prolonged stay there.

Only after finishing all the tasks in the Paldea Region did Naoki plan to go there and investigate, attempting to ’py’ with the Tapu family to see if he could obtain Z Rings and Z Moves from them.

Not only the Grassium Z of Calyrex but also Eevee’s exclusive Z; Naoki had previously promised his partner Eevee to help it master Eevee’s ultimate move: Extreme Evoboost.

And just as Naoki was planning his next steps in his heart, a mysterious visitor suddenly arrived at the ranch.

Butterfree, basking in the sun on the roof, was the first to notice the person.

It immediately came to inform Naoki.

As Naoki, busy in the fields, raised his head, he saw a woman in a floral dress holding a bag by her side, displaying elegance and gentleness, standing at the ranch entrance, gazing towards this side.

Naoki was slightly taken aback.

The next second, his gaze met the person’s in midair.

Then, Naoki heard the other person softly ask:

”Excuse me, what is this place?”

Naoki: ”?”

It seemed his confusion was too evident on his face, prompting the woman to look slightly embarrassed:

”I apologize deeply; I’m a traveler who came here specifically to explore the legend of Porto Marinada Town but got lost in the back hill. I’m now exhausted and hungry, could I borrow some water to drink? I can pay for it.”

Naoki suddenly realized.

In recent years, Porto Marinada Town has frequently attracted some tourists to visit Calyrex’s Shrine in the back hill.

”Of course.” Naoki stopped his farm work and went to the faucet to wash his hands, then said to the woman, ”This is Naoki Ranch east of Porto Marinada Town, I’m the owner, Naoki. No need to pay, please come in and take a rest!”

Upon hearing this, the woman smiled: ”Thank you, sorry to trouble you～”

Not far away, Koraidon and Cyclizar stood in a line, with Koraidon looking at the woman with a face full of puzzlement.

”Ah, isn’t that Lono’s mom?”
