Chapter 201: The Origin world is about to open

All the battles were over. The ranking was decided. It was somewhat an expected result.

Ethan fought 2 more battles, but after that no one dared to fight him and directly admitted defeat.

Ethan won first place and also the ”Rookie King” title.

Second place was taken by Sunny and third was Mark.

Fourth was Delilah.

Those who were defeated earlier got their chance again to challenge the winners later so that those truly powerful students could get their proper rank. Since Mark had faced off against Ethan, he was defeated, but he was stronger than any other students.

Delilah was defeated by Sunny, but she also deserved a better rank, which she eventually got.

The most exciting battle was between Mark and Sunny.

They were two polar opposite element holders.

Light and Darkness.

Ethan had already helped Sunny understand how to use his light element through his nervous system. Sunny managed to master that before the battle with Ethan’s precise help.

So ”Darkness” spells did not work on Sunny, but Mark instantly cast other dark elemental spells, although they were not enough.

Sunny used the ”Wrath of the Arch Angel” and Mark could not hold against that spell and was defeated.

But this caused a huge uproar. Ethan could help others counter the Denver family’s heritage spell.

Mark felt a grudge against Ethan because not only had he defeated him, but also humiliated his family spell. On top of that, Ethan helped another person counter it.

But he also felt respect toward Ethan for this exact reason. He had always thought he was the absolute best until he met Ethan, who crushed those false prides of his.

Now he could finally focus on developing himself.

Ethan was the most satisfied of all. He had gained so many unknown spells in his hand, which would greatly help his research.

Sunny came to him, ”Bro, I got second place. Now let’s have a party.”

Ethan nodded, ”Let’s do it.”

Ethan had not only obtained many spells but also a title. This title was very helpful inside the academy.

The academy had its own market for everything and they could only use academy points.

The Rookie King had a 50% discount on everything in that marketplace for one year. This was a great help for their development because the academy had treasures within it that even the Holy Britannian Empire did not have.

And money or background did not matter inside the academy. Only performance could bring them more success.

The Rookie King had many other perks, such as getting his own room in the dormitory with a separate training room with ultra-advanced magic technology.

Ethan could enjoy all these for one whole year. So a party was necessary.

When they were about to leave, Delilah came in front of them and demanded to join the party.

So the three of them had a little party in the canteen.

The token they had now officially became the Supreme Magus Academy token, and they could do many things with it.

It worked like a mobile phone. They could buy items, sell items, take missions, receive official academy notices, and communicate, all through the token.

Then they felt their tokens vibrating and received a notice.

”Congratulations on your admission into the academy. Now you have an 18-day break before the academy starts officially. The gate of the Origin World is going to be opened soon. Good luck to those who can enter the Origin World.”

Delilah started jumping around. She had heard so much about the Origin World until now, and finally she could enter that mysterious world.

She looked at Ethan, ”Ethan, will you also enter?”

Ethan nodded.

Sunny then chimed in, ”Bro, if you are entering, then I will also enter. Let’s find all kinds of good food in that world.”

Delilah’s happiness doubled instantly when she heard Sunny was also entering.

Ethan became speechless, but what could he do. His best friend was a foodie after all.

Ethan nodded, ”Let’s all do our best together.”

The party was over. Ethan went to his own room, which was allocated to him.

Sunny would stay with his grandma. Every instructor had their own living quarters inside the academy.

Delilah also had her aunt working here as a junior instructor, so she would also live with her.

Three days passed by.

In these three days, Ethan never left the training room. Sunny and Delilah came to visit him though.

They had meals together.

In these three days, he trained many magic spells and even combined 3 spells to create a new one from them.

He was now ready to enter the Origin World. Though he would be with the Ancestor, being prepared at all times was his motto.

Ethan left his room today. The Ancestor contacted him. They would go to the gate of the Origin World in 10 minutes.

Sunny and Delilah did not come. Probably they were also busy now. Ethan went outside the academy.

Edian was standing there for him. When he saw Ethan, he grabbed him and soared to the sky. This time a huge brown eagle came out of nowhere beneath them.

It was the Thunder Eagle, one of Edian’s beasts.

”Ancestor, this eagle is so awesome. How did you catch it and contract it?”

Edian started telling his journey about how he got all his beasts. There was a book about it inside his mother’s library, and Ethan had read it many times, but listening to the man himself was a totally different feeling.

When the story ended, they had also arrived at the location.

Ethan saw thousands of people gathered in a field. A huge gate stood in front of them, but the gate was still closed.

After a few moments, he saw Sunny and Delilah with Martha and another woman he didn’t know.

The Thunder Eagle landed on the ground with a majestic sharp cry.

Many people looked at Ethan and Edian, clearly drawn by the eagle’s presence.
