Let’s Squander A Billion First!

Chapter 684: Chapter 684: Encountering Splendid Auspiciousness (18)

Yang Jiajun hesitated slightly, he didn’t have that much money on him.

But the bet was interesting, and so was the girl.

As the little prince of the Splendid Clubhouse night scene, Yang Jiajun insisted he could not lose.

”Shall we compete?”

Yang Jiajun pulled out a smirk, ”Let’s do it.”

He was a profligate, was he afraid of squandering?

Chuzheng began stating the rules, ”The money spent must be equivalent to the items, and the price should be within a reasonable market range.”

No donations, discarding, destruction... a series of Bastard rules.

The competition ends when items worth ten million are delivered here, and you must make the purchase personally, not through someone else. Squandering can be done globally, and to ensure fairness, both parties may send someone to supervise the other.

Yang Jiajun said he understood the rules clearly.

Chuzheng gave Yang Jiajun time to raise money, and Yang Jiajun got his companions to bring out the cash.

His fair-weather friends scraped together quickly, and soon they had ten million.

”Let’s begin.”

”Hmph.”

Yang Jiajun snorted confidently and left the private room. Chuzheng had Wan Xiaoxiao follow him and also summoned a tall and burly man to go with them.

Yang Jiajun also left two people behind to supervise Chuzheng.

Once Yang Jiajun stepped out of the private room, Xiao Ze showed some disapproval, ”Young Master Yang, are you really going to squander? ”

The chairman’s side was already not very pleased with Yang Jiajun’s behavior.

If he knew he was doing this kind of thing with Yang Jiajun, he might be implicated as well.

And...

Xiao Ze always felt something was off.

”Who can outspend me?”

”But... there are rules,” his companion said, ”It’s not like we usually do, just throwing money out and it’s done.”

”Just buying stuff, what’s so hard about that?” Yang Jiajun dismissed, ”Come on, I’ll take you guys shopping!”

-

Yang Jiajun first thought it would be easy, but only after getting started did he realize it wasn’t that simple.

The competition rules required bringing the items back to Splendid Clubhouse, and at this time, jewelry and luxury goods stores had already closed for the day. Yang Jiajun could make a call to have items delivered, but those people had gone home after work, and who knows where they lived. By the time they returned to the shop to get the items and deliver them, it would be who knows what time.

At this point, it wasn’t just jewelry and luxury goods stores that were closed; many places had already shut their doors.

So it was quite challenging to squander at this establishment.

However, less than half an hour later, the people he left behind called him to say Chuzheng had already finished.

”What?”

Yang Jiajun was instantly furious.

”You’re not messing with me, are you?”

”Young... Young Master Yang, it’s true.”

Yang Jiajun hung up the phone and rushed back furiously.

Chuzheng and her entourage were already standing outside Splendid Clubhouse.

Yang Jiajun pushed through, ”You spent it all? Where are the things you bought?”

Chuzheng held three car keys in her hand. She pressed them, and sounds came from different locations.

The combined value of the three cars was exactly ten million.

”Ten million.”

Yang Jiajun: ”...”

Who comes to Splendid Clubhouse?

Grab anyone randomly, and they might be worth millions.

The cars parked outside were like a luxury car convention.

But Yang Jiajun had never thought about that.

Xiao Ze was also shocked.

Chuzheng’s series of actions were completely unlike the person he knew, his gaze fell on her with complexity.

Who on earth was she?

”You tricked me!” Yang Jiajun shouted angrily, ”You never said before that one can purchase from someone else!!”

”I never said they couldn’t, either.” Chuzheng replied righteously, ”Rules without additional explanations all have viability.” Should others blame me for not being clever enough to understand?

[Forgive my bluntness, Miss, but that’s just exploiting a loophole, not being smart.]

Chuzheng snorted coldly: How come I know to exploit loopholes, and he doesn’t? Doesn’t that prove I’m smarter than him?

[...] Although what Miss is saying doesn’t make sense, I can’t find a reason to refute it.

Yang Jiajun felt like he’d been played.

He turned to his companion, grinding his teeth and asked, ”How did she buy it?”

Would someone who can afford a luxury car just casually sell it off?

”Young Master Yang...” The man swallowed hard, his face turning a shade paler as if recalling what just happened.

Chuzheng was simple and brutal, picking a car and smashing it right after getting down.

Noticing the commotion, the clubhouse staff immediately went upstairs to find the car’s owner. Once they came down, the owner agreed to let Chuzheng compensate at the original price, so she paid; if not... she would start hitting.

She was much fiercer than any of those spoiled brats.

Yang Jiajun had never seen such tactics before.

He felt utterly unresigned to his loss.

”You lost.” Did I run my household for so many years for nothing? You lost so badly you wouldn’t even have your pants left, bastard.

”This doesn’t count!” Yang Jiajun said.

”Are you even a man if you don’t keep your word?” Chuzheng glared at him, coldly taunting him, ”Even with money, you can’t outspend a girl; you really are quite pathetic.”

Yang Jiajun: ”...”

Is that even a normal way of spending money?

Let an average person spend ten million, and they’d definitely think of shopping at malls or stores.

Who would think of smashing someone’s car and then buying it?

”This round doesn’t count, let’s go another round!” Yang Jiajun shamelessly refused to accept the outcome of this round.

Chuzheng looked indifferent, ”Do you think I’m as bored as you?” Do you think this is a best-of-three game? The wasteful task is already complete, who wants to play with you?

”You’re scared?” Yang Jiajun provoked Chuzheng, ”You just deceived your way to a win just now.”

Chuzheng wasn’t fooled at all, calmly asking, ”When will Mr. Yang fulfill the bet and streak naked?”

Yang Jiajun’s face turned ashen in an instant.

He had agreed to the bet, never once thinking that he would lose.

Running naked around the Splendid Clubhouse, how could he mix in society after that?!

”Little sister, you’ve offended me, and that’ll bring you no good end.” Yang Jiajun threatened.

Neon lights flickered, their colorful light falling into her eyes like a scattering of stars, bright yet cold.

A clear voice cut through the Night Color, ”Do you know what happened to the many people I’ve offended?”

Yang Jiajun frowned slightly.

The girl slowly said, ”The grass over their graves is already two meters high.”

”Braggart!” Hatred flashed across Yang Jiajun’s face. Who can’t talk tough? ”Today, I’ll break the bet, what can you do about it?”

Yang Jiajun was hell-bent on not acknowledging the bet.

Chuzheng squeezed her wrist, and under Yang Jiajun’s gaze, she made her move.

Yang Jiajun, a spoiled young master who had learned some martial arts, was unfortunately no match for Chuzheng and could only be rubbed against the ground.

”You stinky woman, let go of me! You damned...”

”You’re the stinky one!” Chuzheng kicked Yang Jiajun.

Yang Jiajun’s face immediately turned red, clutching at a certain spot, crying out in pain.

Yang Jiajun’s fair-weather friends wanted to step forward to rescue him.

Chuzheng swept them with a glance, ”If you want to join him in his naked run, I don’t mind.”

The fair-weather friends instantly lost their nerve.

Especially those who had witnessed Chuzheng’s earlier actions, shrank back.

Chuzheng dragged Yang Jiajun back to the entrance of the private room, pressed the still bent-over Yang Jiajun against the wall, and patted his shoulder like a boss, ”If you won’t strip, then I’ll just have to ask my people to help you.”

”You... dare!”

”I dared to hit you, what else wouldn’t I dare?”

”...”
