I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

Hokage’s office.

”Be strict...?” Minato tapped the table when he heard Nagasawa’s advice.

Nagasawa had already told Minato about his thoughts. He felt that Konoha should be more critical toward outsiders.

”It’s not impossible. In fact, Third doesn’t always compromise. He just wants peace in Konoha.” Minato thought for a while and finally agreed with Nagasawa.

Compared to Nagasawa, Minato still thought highly of the Third Hokage.

In this era, who became a Hokage at Minato’s age? He did not become Hokage because the Third Hokage died, but because he stepped down as a Hokage.

The Kage of each village, be it the small village or the big village, all held their position for as long as possible until they were close to death’s door.

For your information, Sarutobi Hiruzen was actually still in his fifties this year. He could’ve lived for at least ten or twenty years more statistically speaking.

Just based on this point, Minato admired the Third Hokage very much as it required a lot of courage.

Although the Third Hokage did not fully relinquish all the rights to Minato, Minato thought it was understandable. After all, he was too young, and it was normal for the Third Hokage to be worried.

He believed that as long as he showed his capability as Hokage, the Third Hokage would naturally relinquish everything to him.

”I didn’t say the Third meant ill for Konoha. I just don’t like his current political stance.” Nagasawa shrugged.

The Third Hokage couldn’t be merely ruled out as good or bad. He was a complicated person.

The Second Hokage was ambushed and killed by Kumogakure Shinobi, and Sarutobi Hiruzen was appointed as the Third Hokage in the crisis.

In such a bad situation, the Third Hokage managed to defeat the countries that challenged Konoha with his own abilities, and once again let the world know Konoha’s strength.

Can such a person be called a bad person? No, at least not to the residence of Konoha.

Then again, Nagasawa couldn’t really bring himself to call the Third Hokage a good person.

In the manga, Minato entrusted Naruto to Sarutobi Hiruzen before his death. That proved just how much Minato trusted the Third Hokage.

However, what did Third do? He did not care about the rumors that spread in the village.

Although the one responsible for the rumors was most likely Danzo.

However, he chose to do nothing. He could clearly tell Naruto was the Fourth Hokage’s son, not just some Nine-Tailed Demon Fox.

However, he did not do so, because if he revealed that Naruto was the Fourth Hokage’s son, Naruto would be targeted by Minato’s enemies.

Therefore, he chose to hide it and only went to visit Naruto from time to time, showing a little warmth to Naruto like a grandfather.

Nagasawa did not know whether the Third Hokage felt like he owed him Minato or had other goals in mind, maybe both.

Third’s way of doing things really made Nagasawa unhappy. Thankfully Naruto had a bright and cheerful personality. If it were someone with a glass heart, they would’ve crumbled to pressure.

Therefore, Nagasawa just couldn’t bring himself to like the Third Hokage.

Nagasawa respected the Third Hokage’s contribution to Konoha, but he did not have a good impression of him.

”The Third actually...” Minato still wanted to say something.

However, Nagasawa did not give him a chance. He directly waved his hand and said, ”Well, enough about him. My birthday is coming soon. Minato, since you have become the Hokage, I’ll be looking forward to your gift. ”

Nagasawa’s birthday was on the 16th of November, and today was the 8th of November. There were only eight days left before his birthday.

Minato laughed. He wondered why Nagasawa just couldn’t bring himself to like the Third Hokage, but he brushed it off by thinking that Nagasawa didn’t know the Third Hokage that well.

”What gift do you want?” Minato looked at Nagasawa with a smile.

Nagasawa stroked his chin and casually said, ”Why don’t you give me a Six Paths Sacred Treasure?”

”I don’t have any, but I do have the special Flying Thunder God Kunai that the Fourth Hokage always kept with him. You can have it.” Minato returned the joke.

Nagasawa then teased Minato once again, ”I don’t expect you to know that you are very popular among women. It seems that I have to talk to Kushina so that you won’t make any mistake.”

Minato’s face changed, and an image of Kushina bursting in anger, and her beautiful red hair fluttered because of her strong Chakra as she grabbed his collar and asked him whether he did not love her anymore.

”Come on. You know how Kushina is.” Minato said seriously.

Nagasawa snickered as he felt like he had won.

Nagasawa felt that if he wanted to find a wife, it had to be someone gentle like Nono Yakushi. Girls like Tsunade and Kushina would be dangerous when you had a couple quarrel.

The two of them chatted for a bit more, and then Nagasawa after seeing the time.

After all, Minato was a Hokage. They were in the Hokage’s office, not some ramen shop.

It was fine to chat for a while, but if they kept chatting, it would disturb Minato’s work.

...

...

After leaving the office, Nagasawa went to the dessert house.

The sweet house, as its name suggested, was a place where desserts were sold. It was different from owner Watanabe’s Dango shop. There were many kinds of desserts there.

Nagasawa came here occasionally when he wanted to change up his palate.

After walking around the store, Nagasawa bought a strawberry cake with green bean filling and three Strawberry Daifuku.

In fact, he once suggested to the owner of the sweet house to include a red bean strawberry Daifuku, which was definitely sweet, but the owner did not accept his suggestion.

When he was about to pay the bill, Nagasawa saw someone who surprised him.

It was a child with short black hair, delicate facial features, and tears on his face. He was about four or five years old and had the family emblem of Uchiha’s family on his clothes.

It was Uchiha Itachi who seemed troubled about how many Dango he should buy.

His desire told him to buy three since he had so much pocket money. However, his rationality told him that after eating so much Dango, he definitely wouldn’t be able to eat dinner later. As the eldest son who had been given great expectations, wouldn’t it be a little bad for him to do this?

Nagasawa could tell that Itachi was in a dilemma and said, ”If you want to eat, just buy it. If you don’t have enough money, I will lend some money to you.”

Hearing Nagasawa’s voice, Itachi looked at Nagasawa suspiciously, his gaze was a little wary. He didn’t know this stranger in front of him.
