I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

Nagasawa instantly knew what he was thinking, but he shook his head and said, ”it will be difficult if you want her to join your Anbu. She was sick of the darkness she saw during her days in Root, so she quit and ran an orphanage to rescue war orphans.”

Hearing Nagasawa’s words, Minato just sighed helplessly.

He was in need of talented Shinobi now.

It couldn’t be helped as his new Anbu was relatively lacking in numbers, and most of the village’s secret operations were still carried out by Third Hokage’s Anbu.

Some questions might arise, for example, ”Konoha is the strongest village in the world, and they have so many Shinobis, can’t you transfer some of them to Anbu?

Although it sounded ridiculous, that was how it was in the present Konoha.

First of all, Konoha had just gone through the Third Shinobi World War and suffered heavy losses. Second, Konoha actually wasn’t short on Anbu. The one that was short on personnel was Minato’s Anbu, while Third Hokage’s Anbu had quite a lot of personnel.

In the current situation, if Minato wanted to transfer a large number of skilled Shinobis into his Anbu, the other organizations would definitely face problems. The Third Hokage wouldn’t agree, and neither will all higher-ups. They would object Minato’s idea on the pretense that it was unnecessary as Konoha already had a lot of Anbu, so why did he have to disrupt the balance in other organizations?

Minato also knew this, so he had no choice but to nurture the new Anbu himself.

That was why he wanted to recruit an ex-Root Shinobi that had been on Danzo’s mind.

Seeing the disappointed look on Minato’s face, Nagasawa smiled and said, ”Patience, Minato. Give me two or three years, and I guarantee that your new Anbu will be good to go.”

He had a cultivation system of the One Piece world, and with the System Points, he should be able to nurture new talent.

Minato nodded and asked casually, ”How did Kakashi do in this mission?”

”He was doing well at the beginning, but he got careless and exposed himself at the end. Although it was an accident, overall, it was not bad.” Nagasawa commented.

”Sorry to trouble you. I am also responsible as his teacher.” There was a hint of apology in Minato’s words.

Nagasawa waved his hand and said indifferently, ”It’s okay. Anyway, he’s a big help. Moreover, Kakashi is really talented. If he trains well, he may be a big asset for Anbu in the future.”

After talking about Kakashi, the two talked about their daily life, such as Minato commenting that Kushina’s cooking was becoming more and more delicious lately.

Nagasawa only smiled faintly. You laughed at me for being single, and I laughed at you for having a strict wife. They had their own share of trouble.

...

...

After leaving the Hokage building, Nagasawa did not return to Anbu, nor did he look for Kakashi and the others. Instead, he went to the Dango Shop alone.

He walked to the owner and said, ”the usual, master.”

The owner smiled and said, ”Okay, Nagasawa, wait a moment. I’ll make it for you.”

After a while, Nagasawa brought up three servings of custom-made dango.

By this time, it was already afternoon. It was just past noon, and there was no one in the shop. Owner Watanabe simply sat next to Nagasawa and asked with a smile, ”Nagasawa, were you out on a mission? You haven’t been here for two weeks. At first, I thought that there was a new Dango shop in the village.”

After saying that, the boss got up and poured a glass full of water for Nagasawa.

After eating a dango, Nagasawa picked up the glass and drank some water. He smiled and said, ”I did, actually. Have some confidence, master! Your Dango is number one in Konoha.”

The owner fiddled his mustache and said, ”Really? But some customers seem to think that my dango is too sweet.”

Nagasawa said disdainfully, ”That’s because they don’t know how Dango should be! If Dango isn’t sweet, can you still call that Dango? That kind of person can’t comprehend Dango’s true charm.”

Owner Watanabe laughed hoarsely, ”Nagasawa-kun, your taste is indeed beyond the ordinary people.”

Nagasawa revealed a proud and aloof expression, ”Truth is often only known by few.”

When Owner Watanabe heard this, he thought for a while and sighed. ”Nagasawa, you always say philosophical words on such strange occasions.”

After eating, Nagasawa packed some normal Dangos as usual and walked toward the orphanage.

Walking to the orphanage, Nagasawa saw that Nono was teaching the children in the orphanage how to read and write.

Nagasawa did not disturb Nono. He just held the Dango and stood quietly outside, waiting for the class to end.

If he went in, the children wouldn’t stay still, and the class would have to be suspended.

Nono did not let Nagasawa wait for too long. After about ten minutes, she said that she could end class early.

She smiled at the children and said, ”Nagasawa is here to see you guys, hurry up and invite him in.”

And so, the children rushed towards Nagasawa, to be more precise, toward the Dango in his hand.

After dividing the food and escaping from some children who were pestering him, Nagasawa came to Nono.

”How do you feel? The financial aid from the village should be delivered to you tomorrow.” Nagasawa had a trace of a playful look on his face.

He remembered Nono’s indifferent expression at the beginning.

Nono obviously remembered her attitude at that time, and his face turned red, but he still thanked Nagasawa, ”thank you, Nagasawa. With the financial aid from the village, we should be able to live better here.”

Although Nono felt embarrassed for her attitude, she didn’t mind having to be embarrassed again if she got such a good news.

”It’s okay, don’t mention it. After all, although they are war orphans, they are also part of Konoha and Land of Fire.” Nagasawa laughed.

Nagasawa noticed that Nono had been looking at him and couldn’t help but tease, ”What? We only haven’t seen each other for two weeks, and you already forget me?”

Nono said honestly, ”You are the one who persuaded Fourth Hokage, right?”

”Oh?” Nagasawa was interested.

”I heard that the Fourth Hokage did everything he could to turn the orphanage into an official orphanage that will receive financial aid every month, but Nagasawa, you...”

”I’m just an ordinary Chunin, right?” Nagasawa smiled and continued the sentence.

”But there’s no rule saying that ordinary Chunin can’t be friends with the Hokage. Minato and I are good friends back in the Academy.”

The way Nono looked at Nagasawa was different. He didn’t expect that Nagasawa was actually a friend of such an influential figure in Konoha.
