I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

Early in the morning, Kakashi walked out of the inn. At this time, there were few people on the street. The autumn wind nearing winter made the people on the street shiver. He regretted not wearing more clothes when he came out.

However, this autumn wind barely affected Kakashi. Even though he was young, he was a Shinobi with a strong physique and chakra.

Kakashi disguised himself as an ordinary Kusagakure Shinobi. His task remained the same, investigating Kusagakure’s view toward war.

Yesterday he went to the tavern and the hospital, and today Kakashi planned to go to the training ground and other places where Shinobis practice.

This kind of survey ought to be conducted with as many samples as possible.

But the problem was that Kakashi didn’t know where Kusagakure Shinobis trained. Did Kusagakure have a training ground built in the village like Konoha, or did they train wherever they wanted?

If it were the latter, then he might have had to work hard today and spent some time investigating.

Compared to investigating in a tavern, this was much more difficult. He just ought to listen in the tavern, but today he had to strike up a conversation and led the conversation by himself.

Fortunately, the current peace treaty had already reached most people’s ears, so it wouldn’t be strange if he mentioned it all of a sudden.

On the cold street in the late autumn morning, Kakashi accidentally saw a red figure, the survivor of the Uzumaki Clan that he encountered in the hospital yesterday.

Kakashi slightly frowned as she was being harassed by a drunkard on the street.

Uzumaki Hanabira looked at the man who wobbled in front of her, and she was on the verge of crying: ”Please stop harassing me. If I don’t go to the hospital, I will be scolded by Dr. Inoue later.”

But the drunkard didn’t seem to hear her plead whatsoever as he was still blocking Uzumaki Hanabira’s path and said:

”Drink with me for a bit. You don’t think I’m drunk already, do you? There’s no way I’m already drunk.”

Kakashi looked left and right, and other people kept walking as usual, while others watched as they thought it was interesting.

Clearly, no one wanted to stand up for the outsider.

Kakashi stepped forward expressionlessly, looked at the drunkard, and said, ”Do you want to die? How dare you stand in my way!”

The drunk man noticed the Kusagakure forehead protector on Kakashi’s head and immediately backpedaled before apologizing: ”I’m sorry, Shinobi-sama, I accidentally stood in your way because I drink too much.”

Kakashi scolded directly: ”You know you’re at fault, and you’re still here? You want to die for delaying my mission?”

”I’m sorry, I’ll be on my way.” The drunk man ran away immediately while cursing in his heart, ”I’m really unlucky today. I heard that a beautiful red-haired woman came to the village, but I didn’t expect to encounter a Shinobi. Tsk, damned red-haired woman!”

This drunkard was thinking of taking advantage of the woman’s situation, but he happened to meet a Shinobi who was on his way!

Kakashi looked around and noticed the spectators earlier hurriedly left.

Hanabira looked at Kakashi gratefully and said, ”Shinobi-sama, thank you, what’s your name?”

Kakashi thought for a while and said, ”Me? My name is Kakashi.”

”I will properly thank you when I have time in the future, but I have something to do now.” Hanabira bid her farewell and continued to walk toward the hospital.

Kakashi looked at Hanabira’s disappearing back and felt that he couldn’t just leave her alone.

A Shinobi bit her arm so hard yesterday, but she didn’t seem to hate Shinobi at all.

’It doesn’t matter, you have to prioritize the mission, Kakashi. Minato-sensei and Squad Leader Nagasawa are so kind to you. You must live up to their expectations. ’ Kakashi tried to convince himself.

After hesitating for a while, Kakashi finally walked in the direction of the hospital, just dropping by. Maybe there was a training ground next to the hospital.

......

......

In the morning, after Nagasawa woke up and finished taking a shower, he went out to eat breakfast before taking his time as he went to Anbu Base.

Why did he deliberately do so? It was because the mission would be accomplished soon with the help of the enemy boss.

Passing through the entrance of Anbu Base, it seemed that the news about how well he did in the Anbu meeting had spread throughout Anbu, and even the two Anbu who were guarding the door were louder than usual when they greeted Morishita.

Walking to the unfamiliar office, Nagasawa sat on the chair and glanced at the office. There was nothing new, probably because the intel had not been delivered yet.

Nagasawa was not in a hurry. He even dealt with some documents like a Vice-Commander.

It was mainly the distribution of some Anbu Missions.

Nagasawa was familiar with the task of a Commander in advance.

However, since he was not the real Morishita, he basically didn’t know the capability of each Anbu, so he decided to assign the mission based on the name.

”Sakata Yinshi, no matter how you look at it, this one sounds like an old man. I’ll reward him with a long-term A-level Mission for his hard work.”

”Taosuke, this name reminds me of a bad memory. I’ll assign an S-rank mission for him alone. Youngsters should work hard.”

Nagasawa quickly finished all the documents that Morishita had to deal with.

He did so without hesitation. Kusagakure wished Konoha would exhaust their resource in war and then lose its strength.

Nagasawa was bound to Konoha, and Konoha’s prosperity was closely related to his strength. If Kusagakure wanted Konoha to be in decline, that was equal to wishing him to fall ill. In other words, Kusagakure was his enemy.

Why would he hesitate to trouble the enemy?

He might have died in the hands of the four Kusagakure Shinobis during his mission to retrieve the intel about the peace treaty if it weren’t for his newfound strength. Those Kusagakure Shinobis wouldn’t have hesitated to kill him.

While Nagasawa was lamenting the cruelty of the Shinobi world, he heard a knock on the door, and an Anbu walked in with an envelope and respectfully said: ”Morishita-sama, this is the intel from Kage. He said that if you’ve devised the plan, don’t forget to notify him first.”

Nagasawa took the envelope and said with a bright smile: ”I understand.”

Anbu Shinobi nodded and backed out.

”What if I...” Nagasawa tapped the table rhythmically and had an interesting idea in his mind.

Although he didn’t know why Danzo suddenly changed his mind and stabbed him in the back, he couldn’t just not return the favor.

He ought to find a way to pay Danzo back.

Kusagakure Shinobis were not weak, and if Nagasawa pitted them against the Root, they should be able to at least annoy them for a bit.

Anyway, it didn’t require too much effort on his part, and he could annoy Danzo in the process.
