I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

During the three days of waiting for the news of Minato, Nagasawa was familiar with the power of the Whitebeard template.

In order to fully exert the power of Tremor-Tremor Fruit, he also went out of the village.

At present, Color of Supreme King Haki still left Nagasawa full of questions.

Due to being short on time, he couldn’t find any rogue shinobis or some sort. He could only find a nest of bandits, and he didn’t know the effect of the Color of Supreme King Haki on Shinobis for the time being.

He also got an unexpected gift. Probably because his body became stronger, he now could refine chakra much faster than before.

Nagasawa didn’t give up the path of a Shinobi completely. After all, Sage of the Six Path was stronger than Whitebeard!

When Nagasawa was refining chakra, there was a knock on the door.

”Come in.”

An Anbu ninja wearing an animal mask walked in and said, ”Fourth-sama asked you to go to the Hokage office.”

Nagasawa was excited and nodded.

...

...

Nagasawa walked into the office, and Namikaze Minato handed Nagasawa a document.

”Because this is the Third’s abdication, it is different from when he took over the role of Hokage. I am afraid that you can’t be the squad leader right away.” Minato Namikaze said apologetically.

Originally, he was going to make Nagasawa the captain directly, but the situation was a little more complicated than he imagined, and his authority as a Hokage was not as high as he imagined.

Nagasawa flipped through the information that Minato gave him and frowned.

It says here that ”Third Hokage help the fourth to establish a new Anbu”.

In other words, the Third did not hand over the command of Anbu to Minato but ”helped” Minato to establish a new Anbu.

Nagasawa had to say that Sarutobi Hiruzen really was smart.

Even though it seemed unreasonable, it was, in fact, in line with Konoha’s regulations.

Anbu was an extremely special organization. It was directly under Hokage and did not care about other organization.

However, since Anbu was established by the Second Hokage, and the Third Hokage took over his position because the Second Hokage died in battle, he naturally inherited Anbu for himself.

But now that the Third Hokage was not dead, theoretically, he still had control over Anbu.

The Third Hokage would send a vice-captain and two Anbu squads to help Minato to build the new Anbu.

”Help? More like lending.” Nagasawa mocked as he threw the documents on the table.

An Anbu team consisted of seventeen people, and two teams meant thirty-four people. Minato’s new Anbu would not be formed until quite some time, and even when it was, most of the positions were already occupied by the Anbu that the Third Hokage sent to ”help” Minato.

”Well, I’m still too young. It’s normal for the Third to be worried as an adult.” Minato was rather optimistic.

He became the Kage of the village in his early twenties, and that was not a fluke. This was really the first time in the Shinobi World.

”Since this is the case, I’ll start from the bottom. Otherwise, there may be news about ”The Fourth Hokage abusing his new power as a Hokage!” Nagasawa said with a smile.

He was sure that if he really became the captain right from the start, Danzo would not miss this opportunity to start propaganda. After all, Nagasawa was an ordinary Chunin who had no record.

There were some people in the village who disagreed with Minato becoming Hokage, thinking that he was too young to take on such a heavy responsibility.

If there was any news that an ordinary Chunin would be an Anbu Commander, Minato might be blamed for that.

Minato thought for a while, then shook his head and said, ”If that’s the case, then you should start with the squad leader. I can still do that much.”

Nagasawa was not a hypocrite and nodded in agreement.

Anbu was a four-person squad with one leader.

Namikaze Minato took out a piece of paper from the drawer and wrote something on it before handing it to Nagasawa: ”This is your appointment letter, you can go directly to Anbu to get your equipment later.

However, it may take a while to assemble your subordinates because I only have new members for you. ”

Nagasawa nodded, obviously Minato was thinking of him.

If Minato put three Third Hokage’s Anbu in his squad, even though they would be good as a team, he could not raise Nagasawa into his confidant, even worse, Nagasawa might not even be able to make a move.

After arranging these things, Minato heaved a sigh of relief.

Minato smiled and said, ”I just happen to have a mission here, do you want to take it or not? It’s an easy mission for you.”

Nagasawa raised his eyebrows: ”It seems that I won’t have an easy life in the future. I already got a job before I even take the position.”

Minato explained: ”I originally planned to leave this task to Kakashi, but Kakashi is one of those three members I picked for you, so I just want you to do this task together and get familiar with each other. ”

As soon as Minato finished speaking, there was a knock on the door.

Then a white-haired boy with a mask walked in.

”Lord Fourth, do you have a mission for me?” Kakashi asked.

Minato smiled warmly: ”You don’t have to call me that, just call me like before.”

Kakashi hesitated for a moment, then nodded: ”Okay, Minato-sensei.”

”I need you and Nagasawa to fetch me some relevant information about the peace treaty. Iwashi has already relayed the information to the border of the country of fire, so just go and get it.” Minato said the task.

Although Kakashi had some doubts in his heart, he still nodded, indicating that there was no problem.

This kind of task should be more suitable to do alone.

And why did Fujiwara-senpai join him? If he remembered correctly, Fujiwara-senpai was still Chunin, and they even took the Chunin exam at the same time, but he was promoted, and Nagasawa failed.

The two walked out of the Hokage Building together, and both of them were silent.

Kakashi squeezed his right hand from time to time, and a look of grief flashed across his face.

”Could it be that a black flame dragon is sealed in your right hand, is that why your hand seems to be in pain?” Nagasawa joked.

Kakashi was stunned, retorting in his heart; ’Kakashi, this is a mission, you can’t take the bait!’

He took a deep breath and said, ”Fujiwara-senpai, I’m sorry, I will carry out the mission seriously.”

”One more thing,” Nagasawa pointed to the back and said, ”Is the watermelon-headed boy in green tights that follows us your friend?”

At this time, the two had already left the village quite far.

Kakashi froze again, then nodded.

He was so annoyed that he didn’t even notice Guy was following him.

”Sorry, I’ll go and talk to that idiot.” Kakashi lifted his forehead protector, revealing the covered Sharingan.

Followin the ninja on the mission was espionage!

Under the powerful insight of Sharingan, Kakashi soon found Might Guy hidding in the tree.

Kakashi jumped up the tree, looked at the speechless Might Guy and said, ”Guy, what are you doing here? I’m on a mission.”

Might Guy said honestly: ”I saw you on the road, and I was a little worried, so I followed.”

”...” Kakashi was silent, a little touched in his heart.

”It’s just a mission to collect information. I won’t be involved in any fight, so you can go back without worry.” Kakashi said.

”But...” Might Guy was still a little worried.

”Nagasawa-senpai is here, too, don’t worry,” Kakashi said with a guilty face.

Although he didn’t think Nagasawa had the strength to protect him, he had to lie in order to send Guy back.
