I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2143: 25.33 Lone Black Star - First Day at Work

When the sun had risen the next morning, the students and teachers started to make their morning preparations to enter their classes. Today was also the first day of teaching for the four new teachers. Before the classes had started the four newly employed teachers had been called to the principal’s office when Principal Hei Cang was waiting. In front of him were the four new teachers who would begin their teaching career on this day. Of course, among them are the sleepy God of Destruction and his fuzzy husband, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. At dawn, Principal Hei Cang had actually received a royal decree from the Imperial Emperor himself saying that no one is too disrespectful of two people: Mo Anjing and Ye Xiajie.

When the Crown Prince heard about this, he was even confused. However, the decree from the Imperial Emperor cannot be defied unless they wanted to offend the Royal Family. It was after receiving this edict from the emperor that Principal Hei Cang and the Crown Prince that the origins of this couple is not simple at all.

Principal Hei Cang said, ”Congratulations on passing once again! I hope you will be careful when dealing with those students of yours.”

”Most classes don’t split the guides and sentinels. Even at the classes where healing technique was taught, there would be sentinels in the class to act as volunteers and during the combat class, the guide would also train nearby. Of course, the difference in the content of the lesson between the two is different as well.”

”Which is why, teachers here work in pairs. One sentinel teacher to handle the sentinel students and one guide teacher to handle the guide students. Teacher Duan and Teacher Yin will handle the Noble Class. For the first week, Teacher Cen will guide you through your job. After a week, you will have to do it on your own.”

”Teacher Ye Qinya, will watch over Teacher Mo Anjing and Teacher Ye Xiajie. The three of you will handle the Royal class. Any more questions?” Principal Hei Cang asked.

Teacher Duan, an S-class Sentinel raised a hand and said, ”Can we ask how the classes were distributed?”

”Simple. It’s based on the last examination you had four undergone to. Students from the Royal Class are made up of sentinels and guides which range A+ - SSS. While the Noble Class’s students are made up of sentinels and guide with B - A-. The result of the last examination shows the difference of tolerance and power between you four. While Teacher Mo and Teacher Ye can leave the examination room unharmed, the two of you barely keep your consciousness active. I am an SS-grade Sentinel and there are lots of students of my level staying in the Royal Class. Which meant Teacher Duan and Teacher Yin cannot handle them, this is the reason you were designated to handle the Noble Class,” Principal Hei Cang explained.

However, in the ears of Teacher Duan, this explanation is no different than treating them weaker compared to Teacher Ye Xiajie and Teacher Mo. He grips his hands as he curbs his jealousy and glare at the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. He was even angrier when he saw that Mo Anjing ignored him as he was so sleepy that he was even yawning in the presence of the Principal and the Crown Prince. As for Ye Xiajie, he didn’t even acknowledge his presence and is supporting his sleepy lover, preventing him from actually falling asleep on the spot.

Of course, everyone else in the office had noticed the reaction of Teacher Duan yet no one actually pointed it out. It seems that Teacher Duan actually wanted to teach in the Royal Class. Unfortunately, his strength is greatly lacking.

The God of Destruction despite his sleepiness actually noticed the changes in Teacher Duan’s expressions and smiled playfully as he glanced at him once. He lazily raised a hand which surprised everyone in the office except for his own husband.

Principal Hei Cang nervously gulps as he tries to compose himself on the surface.

He says, ”Yes, Teacher Mo. How much will I help you?”

”Nothing much. Actually since this is the first day for the four of us, isn’t it alright to experience teaching both classes? It would be more fun that way~,” said the God of Destruction.

Everyone in the class was shocked except for Ye Xiajie who is used to his wife’s antics of seeing entertainment in the foolishness of other people. He loves watching such things like a play. He had definitely noticed the hidden agenda in Teacher Duan’s heart and decided to let him play along.

As expected, the expression on Teacher Duan when he heard these words, showed a bright and excited expression on his face. Beside him, Teacher Yin looked at his partner in school with silent pitying. After all, he had noticed the mischievous smile at the corner of Teacher Mo’s lips. He had only seen this expression at the mastermind watching someone foolish act without bringing their brain with them when they went out of their homes.

Teacher Duan speaks up, ”I am willing!”

Hearing this response, the playful smile on the God of Destruction’s lips had widened even more but it was covered when he suddenly yawned once again.

On the other hand, Principal Hei Cang sneaked a peek at his master, the Crown Prince who had witnessed everything Mo Anjing had done. He can only slightly nod in agreement. Anyway he is there and can handle things if something happens. Moreover, he had a feeling with these two new teachers of the Royal Class, things might not end worse.

Principal Hei Cang sighed and pinched the center of his eyebrows before looking at Teacher Duan. With a stern expression on his face, he said, ”I will only allow this time. You may take your leave now.”

With permission from the principal all six teachers had left the principal’s office. Once the door to his office had slammed close, the Principal slumped on the top of his table. He had been nervous, pretending to be composed and calm. In reality, when the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness stared at him for a moment, he felt all his hair in his body standing up. This is his intimate reaction towards danger and this means this man called Ye Xiajie is indeed a very dangerous individual and an extremely powerful sentinel as well.

Meanwhile in the Royal Class...

As soon as Ye Caoyun arrived at the door, the eyes of every sentinel classmate of his in this class had moved their gaze and stared at him. This feeling made him uncomfortable and when a classmate tried to approach him after hearing the sound of his chair being pulled out. He immediately exposed the earrings his parents had given him. It was dangling earring with the crest of the royal family. It was actually a device that is filled with someone’s pheromones. This morning after breakfast his dad gave this earring to him saying that it can stop the sentinels from surrounding him as long as he wears it. In the beginning, he thought it was his father’s pheromones used to protect him. Now that he is using it, he realized that it wasn’t. This scent of blood and wood, this is the very scent he remembers when he first day he transmigrated in this body and fainted in the corridor near the restroom where he had beaten up his bullies.

It was a scent that is nostalgic to him. It made him remember his original world.

’This familiar scent... is pheromones? But my father’s pheromones, dad said it was the scent of snow. Then this is not father’s pheromones? Whose is it? I think I need to ask my parents when I return home later.’

Without him noticing his tense expression when he first entered the room had slowly faded under the effects of the earrings, he ignored the students staring at him and took his usual seat. He even turned deaf ears at the murmuring behind him and used a headset to cover his eyes with music.

The students started to murmur with one another which Ye Caoyun couldn’t hear right now.

”Hey, that ear on his ears... Isn’t that...!?”

”Is this real?!”

”This pheromone scent and that aura... Without doubt that it’s his...”

”Shss~ watch your mouth. Don’t speak nonsense! That’s the royal family, you want to lose your head!”

”He is the adopted son of the royal duke. Maybe it’s just a family gesture?”

”Though that is indeed normal within the family. But if that’s the only reason then the Royal Duke’s pheromones should be enough but that... that scent is definitely not the royal duke’s pheromones but that person’s...”

”I knew they were close since he picked up Ye Caoyun yesterday. But don’t you think it’s too fast?”

”Maybe they have a high compatibility?”

”Does this mean that Exalted one can be saved!? That’s great!”

The noise continued until the teachers entered the class. Everyone was surprised when the Crown Prince first entered the classroom and the first one he looked for within the classroom was the figure of Ye Caoyun. Then he noticed the thing on his ears and the lingering scent that seemed too familiar to him. When he saw that familiar looking earring his Imperial Mother had told him to recharged this morning, Ye Qinya never expected it would end in Ye Caoyun’s possession.

He was stunned at first and then suddenly blushing as he averted his eyes in embarrassment. On the other hand, Ye Caoyun tilted his head in confusion when he saw the Crown Prince’s reaction.

The God of Destruction commented, ”Oh youth~”
