I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2141: 25.31 Lone Black Star - After School

While the group of four from the royal family bloodline is staying at the Forbidden Library, Ye Caoyun who was taking a nap suddenly woke up only to see that he was suddenly surrounded by the classmates who always look down on him for being born as a commoner and an orphan. An orphan who was lucky enough to get adopted in a ducal house. Not an ordinary noble house but the only family that is connected to the royal family by blood. After all, Duke Ye Jie is the younger brother of the current Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang. They also have a very close relationship and trust to one another.

Before they couldn’t accept Ye Caoyun at all because he is not only a commoner but a waste who couldn’t awaken. In short, he is among the masses, just an ordinary person without any ability. The kind of people who could only live their lives without getting involved with the battles led by the sentinels in outer space or the feel the need of healing from the guides.

However, who would have thought that he would awaken late and suddenly in just one day, he had become from a waste who failed to awaken to an awakened guide with S-grade mental energy. The kind of guide which is rare in the empire and their numbers can be counted with one hand. It can be said that high-grade guides are extremely rare. After all, the higher their mental energy grade is the more effective their healing would be. There will be an issue of compatibility, all sentinel wanted to be paired with a guide is not only powerful but a high grade one as this is capable of extending their lives preventing them from suffering while still alive.

Every sentinel fear of going insane and transforming fully into a beast form only to lose their rationality and become a true beast who can only move by instinct as an animal. As a human with intelligence, becoming a beast that relies on instinct is the worst ending. This is also the possible ending of a sentinel who had lost control of themselves. That’s why guides are so precious in this world.

The newly awakened S-grade Guide, Ye Caoyun, had become popular with just his awakening. Now his classmates, especially the sentinels, all scramble for his attention which greatly made Ye Caoyun uncomfortable.

”Wh-What do you need?” Ye Caoyun asked as he looked defensive towards them.

Seeing this the sentinels all felt guilty. Which among them had truly treated the Ye Caoyun without disdain in their eyes. There are those who openly verbally bullied him and those who turned a blind eye at those actions their classmates had done. In the eyes of Ye Caoyun, there is no one good in this royal class. They were all spoiled and arrogant brats who didn’t know the hardship of the world. He as a reincarnated god would never step so low as to get involved with people who hated him and he had no intention of wasting his time with them as well.

In the first place, the only reason why he is in school is because his foster parents thought that education is better even if one didn’t wake up. Moreover, the original Ye Caoyun’s dream was to become a healer so when he failed to awaken as a guide he was devastated and died in the restroom that day after being bullied. As for the highgod, he didn’t care what he wanted to do, he just wanted to survive and continue his cultivation so that one day he would be able to return to the upper realm and continue his cultivation journey to immortality. At the very least he wanted to meet the Sovereigns and at least see the famous God of Destruction, his idol.

It can be said that there is almost no one in Vearth that didn’t idolize the God of Destruction. He is the guardian of Vearth and not only possesses strength but also beauty. Moreover, it was said that he is approached and always has a smile on his face. Well as long as you are not an enemy he is a very kind god loved by everyone.

Moreover, because he had ascended alone, Ye Caoyun didn’t have many friends. He is a loner even in Vearth. So suddenly being approached so proactively like this just made Ye Caoyun feel the need to be vigilant.

Ye Caoyun said, ”Speak. What do you need from me that you would surround me like this?”

The sentinels felt the calming aura around Ye Caoyun slowly turning aggressive. Before Ye Caoyun would hold back the flow of his qi as he was known as a waste that couldn’t even awaken. If he suddenly becomes someone who can use qi, others might think of him as some kind of alien. That way he waited for this body to awaken. Now that he has awakened there is no need to hold back controlling his aura anymore.

For sentinels, when a guide’s healing aura suddenly turned aggressive meant rejection. They felt depressed upon sensing the unwelcoming aura from Ye Caoyun.

”N-No, we didn’t mean any harm. We...”

”Please don’t get angry. We only want to talk to you.”

”We are not going to bully you.”

”Please don’t look at us like that.”

The sentinels tried to plead for mercy from Ye Caoyun. However, after being treated worse in the academy ever since he had woken up in this world, he couldn’t trust the words of his classmates. The tension in the class left the area in silence and adding the fact that Ye Caoyun is looking at them like enemies, most sentinels in the room didn’t know what to do.

Just as everything was about to blow up and the sentinels were about to apologize, an overbearing aura fell on the sentinels in the room making them kneel instinctively.

Knock. Knock.

”What is this? Bullying?” The one who had spoken was none other than Ye Qinya, the Crown Prince of the empire.

”No. NO. It’s not like that, your highness, the crown prince!”

”We are definitely not bullying him!”

”We only want to talk to him.”

”A-Ask compatibility with him... Nothing else really.”

”We just...”

On the other hand, Ye Caoyun recognized him and knew that he is the cousin his parents are talking about. Though he is a sentinel compared to the others, he felt closer to this person as he felt that as a member of the family, he wouldn’t harm him even only for the sake of his parents. Ye Caoyun packed his things and immediately ran over to the Crown Prince and hid behind him. The eyes of these classmates of his are truly making him uncomfortable.

Ye Caoyun whispered, ”These people are strange. I was just napping and when I woke up I was surrounded by them.”

Upon hearing this the Crown Prince showed a rare frown and then glanced coldly at the sentinels in this class. In his heart, he is Ye Caoyun’s fated pair. All other sentinels are not allowed to touch his guide.

”Have the sentinels of this class forgotten the imperial laws? Unpaired sentinels are forbidden in approaching an unpaired guide without permission much less an unstable recently awakened guide,” said the Crown Prince.

The even more terrifying aura fell in the class this time, the sentinels in the room had all suffered. As for the other guides, they were either protected by their pair while the others were completely unharmed as the Crown Prince had no intention of harming them at all.

Urk~

The Crown Prince was about to lose control when suddenly a refreshing familiar healing aura surrounded him and the small tug on his sleeve instantly woke him up from his trance.

”Cousin, calm down,” whispered Ye Caoyun yet in this silent classroom his voice was still heard.

His voice was soft and soothing which instantly calmed down the Crown Prince, the pressure around the area had faded almost immediately when Ye Qinya had calmed down.

”Alright. I came to pick you up. The Imperial Uncle said to send you home. They might not be able to go home due to work this time.” The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya said. Then he suddenly asked, ”Or do you want to stay over tonight. There is no one at home protecting you.”

”Would I be in danger? Didn’t I just awaken?” Ye Caoyun asked in confusion.

This bewildered look on Ye Caoyun’s face made the crown prince realize that maybe this cousin of his because of his first failure to awaken, had made him forget all things about awakening and precaution after it.

”I will explain everything on the way. Let’s have dinner first,” said the Crown Prince as he took the bag and things in Ye Caoyun’s arms.

Not knowing what should be done, Ye Caoyun decided to trust this person. After all, his parents said to find this man if something had happened. Though nothing bad had happened yet, being surrounded by sentinels or classmates who used to ignore and bully him before felt extremely uncomfortable so he chose to leave with him. At least his parents trusted this man and he trusted his parents.

”Okay. Let’s go,” said Ye Caoyun as he left together with the Crown Prince.
