I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2135: 25.25 Lone Black Star - Fated Pair?

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya had just finished his classes and when he returned to his villa within the academy, he saw the Principal waiting for him in the living room enjoying the tea brewed by his family’s butler. Of course, together with Hei Cang are the doctors from their side. Different from the ones on the side of the royal family or the ones in the school, something under the command of the Crown prince himself.

”We greet his highness the crown prince!” Hei Cang and others in the room greeted.

Ye Qinya, while removing his tie and sitting on the couch opposite of them said, ”Be at ease.”

The Doctors approached the crown prince and said, ”Your highness please allow these servants to check on your state. We had already heard about what happened this morning and came right away.”

”I am truly alright. This time my rejection towards guides didn’t happen. If you are checking something, it is better to check my compatibility with Yun’er than checking if there is something wrong with me,” said the Crown Prince.

Hei Cang said, ”Master, I had copied a result from his highness Prince Consort’s laboratory. I got it before he had tried to dispose of everything and run back to the palace.”

Passing a stack of papers to the Crown Prince while the person himself was attached into countless devices which is used to check his current Spiritual Domain’s state. Ignoring the things placed on his head, he keeps reading the paper passed to him by his subordinate and frowns.

”S+++++ Mental energy grade and D-Class physique? Is this a joke? How is he still alive and what is this strange mental energy grade?” The Crown Prince asked with a serious expression on his face.

Principal Hei Cang calmly said, ”It’s better to watch it yourself, Master.”

He placed a recording video of the conversation between the duchess and ye Caoyun. As expected the Prince Consort was also worried about the huge difference in grade between the Mental Energy and the physique of Ye Caoyun. What is strange is the response and reaction of the young master Ye. He doesn’t seem to be lying when he says that he doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all. As if the large between his powers and body doesn’t matter to him at all. They listened as the Prince Consort made some guesses and said that because the wood energy is life itself that it didn’t have any destructive energy that harms the body instead it nurtures it.

In short, Ye Caoyun’s D-grade physique can grow as long as he trained his body properly. As for the weird Mental Energy Grade, they only understood it when Ye Caoyun explained about his quantum beast’s missing heart seed. According to his explanation, this seed is something given only to the fated sentinel of Ye Caoyun which would be planted in his partner’s spiritual domain creating a link between their spiritual domain. As long as the main body, or Ye Caoyun increase in strength or train his healing capabilities it would be passed on to the heart seed allowing his fated partner to gain the same healing effect.

When Hei Cang, the Crown Prince and everyone else heard about this, they were all shocked. This is something that had never happened before. Maybe they just didn’t know after all that Plant type quantum beasts only existed in history and no one knows if what is written in the records are real or not.

The Crown Prince Ye Qinya suddenly said, ”Whatever you have heard today no one is allowed to spread it. If you break this command I will kill you myself.”

”As you will, your highness!” Hei Cang and his other subordinates in the room saluted.

Ye Qinya asked, ”What is the compatibility between Yun’er and I?”

”The result of this is actually amazing this time your highness,” Principal Hei Cang showed the result himself. ”Congratulations, your highness! You and Young master Ye Caoyun had a compatibility of 89.99 percent! You are a fated pair!”

In this world, the compatibility had levels:

0-10 percent: Incompatible

11-40 percent: Average Compatibility

41-60 percent: High Compatibility

61-80 percent: Best Compatibility

81-88 percent: Perfect Compatibility

89-100 percent: Fated Pair

In this world, no fated pair had existed yet and it was considered a legend only recorded in history. The highest percentage recorded at the current era is only 83 percent which is between Duke Ye Jie and his duchess, Mo Jing. The second in rank is the emperor and the empress who had 80 percent compatibility. After them all only falls in Best compatibility ranks. While all other compatibility tests the Crown Prince had never gone higher than 10 percent and everyone in the empire believes that it was because he is too powerful that one ever existed to match him.

Crown Prince Ye Qinya after hundreds of compatibility failures, he had longed to give up finding a guide that he could bond with. Maybe it was also due to his mental pollution to this point. His mental contamination is already at 89 percent. If this increases more and reaches the range of 90, he would start having problems controlling himself and might transform in the shape of his quantum beast. Most patients who turned to their beast form reached 90 to 95 percent mental contamination and those who passed beyond 95 would not only transform but also regress to their baby beast form. Weaker and lacking intelligence.

For one to have a fated pair means as long as his partner exists he will never fall in full transformation and even if he did with the healing of his pair guide, he can always return to normal. For this reason alone, Ye Qinya was so shocked that he stood from his seat staring at the compatibility result as if wanting to burn it through his stares alone. Meanwhile, the doctors around them were all delighted after all this meant that their master no longer needed to suffer anymore and he can fight without fearing transformation.

Suddenly, the silence in the area was broken when one of the doctors waiting for the result of the test they were doing was finally revealed.

”Oh my god! How is this possible!?” The doctor exclaimed.

The Crown Prince asked, ”What happened this time?”

”Y-Your highness. Your mental contamination got lowered! From 89 to 85!! A whole four percent!”

”Your highness, what happened to you!?”

”This morning the test result is still 89!! But it’s 85 now!?”

Even the Crown Prince was shocked. He actually didn’t expect this. However, it was true that his body felt less heavier compared to before. There is only one thing that has happened this morning and that is the awakening of Ye Caoyun into a guide. He just happened to be nearby and under the urging of his Uncle-in-law he meditated near Ye Caoyun. Well he ended up being pulled in the bed and had to stay inside Ye Caoyun as well. But that just lasts for a few hours, not even half a day.

The Crown Prince answers, ”I was nearby when Yun’er awakened as a guide this morning. Is that the reason?”

”A guide’s awakening? That indeed had some effect but not an instant healing like what you have experienced? Is it because you are a fated pair? Normally for average healing removing one percent for one day healing is good enough. For a healer of Lord Mo’s level three percent a day is max but... A whole four percent for just a few hours? This is a miracle. If your highness received a whole day healing from your fated pair, lowering your mental contamination for at least 10 percent is possible and in just 8 to 10 days for full recovery!” Principal Hei Cang said in excitement.

The Crown Prince Ye Qinya suddenly smiled, ”Then I should chase after my wife as soon as possible.”

Principal Hei Cang and the other doctors laughed in happiness with this joke from their master. After the doctor made sure that there was nothing wrong with the body and state of the Crown Prince they had excused themselves and resumed their original job. However, Principal Hei Cang didn’t leave after all he is here to report about the new teachers, an especially powerful couple who will join the academy soon.

All evidence as proof was shown to the Crown Prince including their investigation of the background of the couple.

”Master, this is the couple I had mentioned in the report.”

Principal Hei Cang showed a picture of Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie holding each other’s hand while smiling at one another. Just this photo alone can see how much these two people love one another. Seeing this if not for knowing their strength would think they are only a pair of a beautiful guide and a handsome sentinel.

”They look good together,” commented the Crown Prince.

Hei Cang didn’t know how to respond but he didn’t deny the words of his master. After all, this is the first couple he had seen who possessed such a high face value and strength.

”Indeed they are a perfect match. Maybe they are a fated pair as well,” Hei Cang said.
