I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2126: 25.16 Lone Black Star - Checking through worlds (7)

After receiving the mental cultivation technique from his Imperial Uncle, the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, immediately tried using this cultivation technique only to be shocked that it actually helped him control the raging mental energy in his spirit domain. Before he was tired it was all meant to actually try to control this energy in him but as it got stronger it made it harder for him not to lose his sanity. The more he forcibly controlled it, the crazier it affected his spirit domain. Due to that his spirit domain is full of cracks and his mental energy is like an endless cyclone within this domain. If he hadn’t isolated this energy while trying to keep his mind composed he would have completely transformed into a dragon losing his mind completely and would have started acting like a crazy dragon with no memories as humans. He would become a beast, that is crazy and a madman.

Crown Prince Ye Qinya didn’t want this to happen so whenever he would enter his berserk state he would make sure that he would retain his sanity even if just a string of it. He didn’t want to become a complete beast and harm those who are important to him. He had a feeling that if he completely lost his mind, he would lose not only himself but his very soul. Becoming something that didn’t have any intelligence and would react only through his instinct alone. Once he had become like this he would most likely lose much more important things and he would regret that forever. This is something Ye Qinya didn’t want to do.

Even though the effects of the Mental Cultivation Technique his Imperial Uncle had given him only helped him control his raging mental energy, it was enough to prevent him from completely becoming a beast. A sentinel cannot heal himself regardless of how high his mental energy is. It can be said that the higher his mental energy is the more prone he would be from suffering Mental Pollution which would eventually lead to him transforming and becoming a beast.

Crown Prince Y QInya upon noticing the effect of the technique immediately stood up and was about to kneel before his Imperial Uncle while thanking him

”Thank you, Imperial Uncle. I... I owe you this life.” Crown Prince Ye Qinya was grabbed by Duke Ye Jie before he even fell on his knees.

Duke Ye Jie said, ”As the next Emperor of the Empire, his highness shouldn’t kneel so easily!”

Despite being reprimanded by the duke, the crown prince has a smile on his face showing that he is now in a good mood much better than the fake smile he usually uses.

”I know, Imperial Uncle. With this cultivation technique, I probably would be going berserk in the future. Even in my beast form I might not lose myself completely,” said Ye Qinya, the Crown Prince of the empire. ”If there is something I can help you with, please tell me anything.”

”Actually, there is something. Our adopted son, Ye Caoyun. He is in your academy. If you have some time can you please take care of him for me. I am afraid he will get bullied again. Don’t worry, you can watch over him only until you graduate!” Duke Ye Jie said.

The Crown Prince didn’t reject this request and instead, he agreed to it. He promised, ”As long as I am around no one will be able to bully him, Imperial Uncle, leave him to me.”

”Thank you. Our Yun’er is a bit timid so we worry that he will get badly bullied. My husband cannot be with him all the time in the school. So listening to your words, my heart has calmed down. With you there Yun’er would be safe,” said the Crown Prince.

After a short conversation, the emperor and the empress had finally let the crown prince leave. Ye Qinya chose to return to school and find that cousin of his to fulfill his promise with his Imperial Uncle. It was after he left that the three adults continued to ponder what is supposed to be done to completely cure the crown prince.

Duke Ye Jie said, ”This cultivation technique cannot heal or cure his mental pollution. It can only prevent it from getting worse. We must find a guide that can cure his mental pollution. Have you found one that is compatible with him?”

His majesty the emperor and her highness the empress shook their heads showing a negative response. They had been trying so hard to find the fated mate of their son even making all the newly registered awakened individuals to test their affinity with the crown prince but every result is less than ten percent compatibility which is no different than nothing at all. It’s not like they can force a young guide to try it only to be killed by their son’s mental strength that would make them no worse than a murderer.

”We’ve even started looking for unregistered remote stars. But no one appears to have a compatibility with Qin’er,” His Majesty the emperor said.

The Empress added, ”The compatibility never went higher than ten percent. How is it possible? If it’s even thirty percent at least we can have tried bonding Qin’er with someone! Heaven why are you so cruel to my child?!”

Sigh~

”My love, don’t despair. Our son is still alive. In the future there must be someone who can save him from his pain,” said the Emperor.

We have been searching all places, all planets even the remote ones just for a possible chance but up until now nothing was found. Just thinking of all the failed results and recalling their son’s disappointment to cold acceptance, her highness the empress couldn’t help but cry in despair. They couldn’t understand what the heavens wanted to do. They had given their son a peerless talent but also allowed him to suffer the greatest pain of losing control and feeling your sanity fading at each mental outburst. They had seen the crown prince mental outburst multiple times just to keep his mind awake and he would self mutilate to keep his mind clear. As Ye Qinya’s parents, this is the most painful scene they almost couldn’t bear. The empress had fainted multiple times and because of this the crown prince stopped coming home and avoided returning to the palace just to avoid accidentally harming his parents. That’s why in the academy he lives alone as well.

On the other hand, back to the Imperial Royal Academy...

Ye Caoyun is once again being blocked by a few young masters and young misses from the noble faction. Even though they don’t bully him directly, just treating him with disdain and contemptuous gaze would have frightened the original Caoyun. Unfortunately, the young man in front of them is not even a mortal but a high god that stood above all mortals. So Ye Caoyun just watches this antics with aloof indifference as if watching an ant act almighty in front of a giant.

”Peasant! Know your place! Even if you are adopted by the Duke family you are still a mongrel!”

”It cannot change the fact that your blood is that of a commoner!”

”What made it worse is that you are just a useless waste who cannot even awaken.”

”How about you just leave the academy? This place cannot welcome garbage like you here!”

Ye Caoyun watches the students in front of him with cold indifference and aloof detachment from the world. However, he avoids meeting their eyes as once they do, these children would be horrified how such a person whom they looked down upon would have such dangerous eyes. Meanwhile, the bullies think he is afraid with Ye Caiyun’s head down like this.

No one actually dared to touch Ye Caoyun directly. After all, a duke is only under the royal family while theirs are at the level lower than his family. It can be said that only royal relatives can have the title of the Duke and in the whole empire only General Ye Jie, is a Duke. If they dared to leave any traces of wound on Ye Caoyun, the Duke would most likely make not only them pay but even their families would be affected. That’s why they can only bully Ye Caoyun through words.

Ye Caoyun’s thoughts at the moment, ’When is this going to be over? I’m too sleepy. Yawns~’

He even lowered his head further trying to hide his yawn from his bullies. He looked so sleepy that some traces of tears appeared from the corner of his eyes. This is what Crown Prince Ye Qinya had witnessed upon his return. He even saw Ye Caoyun’s small mouth turning big to fit an egg as he yawned. Seeing his tiger tooth peeking from that mouth Ye Qinya smiled. Then this smile turned into a stern expression when his gaze moved from Ye Caoyun to the noble children surrounding him saying unwanted words.

Crown Prince Ye Qinya stepped into the scene and said, ”Don’t you know that bullying a royal family member can get you suspended and expelled at worst?”

The students were shocked when they heard this voice only to turn around and see someone unexpected. The students in the area exclaimed collectively including the noble children and only Ye Caoyun whose eyes were fluttering and about to close didn’t notice the crown prince’s arrival.

”Your highness, the Crown Prince!”
