I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2140: 25.30 Lone Black Star - Recorded Unknown History

Dumbfounded by the truth, the four royal family members keep comparing the two photos before them. One is an ancient photo drawn by hand and the other is a soft copy from the terminal. With four people playing spot the difference between the two photos, they still cannot find anything which proves that the two people in the photos are not the same as the one in their terminals. Well, except for their clothes being different the appearance of the two remained the same.

The duke, Lord Ye Jie said, ”B-Brother, is this real? Are they truly our ancestors?”

”With the proof in front of your face, you still ask me? I don’t actually know what I should do right now,” said the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang.

On the other hand, Mo Jing couldn’t help but stare at the photo of the God of Destruction. Those clear sapphires are very similar to his. It seems that sapphire irises are an exclusive trademark for the Mo Clan’s direct bloodline. No wonder his family before they had fallen had sent him to his husband. Did they want to protect him from the last line of the Mo family bloodline?

The duchess, Lord Mo Jing asks, ”Is it alright for me to read the history about the First Empress?” He was actually asking the book spirits flying around them.

The Imperial Empress also said, ”I also want to know about the First Emperor and the history of the royal family.”

”Alright. Let’s check it together,” said the Imperial Emperor.

The duke, Lord Ye Jie asked, ”Then what should we do about them... I mean the two ancestors, brother?”

”Since they didn’t come to see us, they didn’t want their identities to be revealed. Just give them free reign and don’t force them to do anything against their will. Also tell the other to be respectful. It was unknown if they are truly immortal but... they are our ancestors, we must not be disrespectful,” said the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang.

The duke thought for a moment and decided to listen to his royal brother. This is the first time they had learned that they had immortals for an ancestor. Since they cannot be rude, it’s better if they just treat them as ordinary people. He decided to have someone investigate where these two ancestors are right now and think later what should be done afterwards.

The book spirits had helped them find the records of their two ancestors’s history and achievements. The more they read about the history the more amazed they are. The first emperor and the first empress were a fated pair with a hundred percent compatibility. With the resonance of their soul, the strength and healing effects of their abilities had been amplified by a hundred times. With his connection with the first empress, the first emperor was the first one to break through beyond SSSSS-grade and become the god on the battlefield. On the other hand, the first empress is said to be fully capable of eliminating mental contamination on the first emperor allowing the latter to be undefeatable on the battlefield.

With just the two of them, they had exterminated the insect race that wanted to attack the empress. It’s just that no one would have expected that this insect race is smart and had hidden the last egg of their race somewhere else which extended their existence to the current era. Also according to the records of history, the first empress is the first guide who fought on the battlefield with the first emperor protecting his rear and protecting his lover with a powerful mental energy capable of deploying a visible barrier that blocks even physical attack and all mental assaults. The first empress is the most powerful healer and guide in history.

However, unlike in their era, the current guides are born with weak bodies, that even their powerful mental energy would sometimes restrain them. This is the problem of the current era’s guides. There is also the fact that the sentinels cannot control their chaotic instinct whenever they are fighting making them easy to lose control in battles. There is also the fact that the healing capabilities of the guides are attached to their mental energy levels and they didn’t even know how to fully control their mental energy which led to the current era’s slow decline.

The more the four members of the royal family read the more amazed and confused they were.

The duchess, Mo Jing, was reading a part of the record about how to increase the healing effect of the guide and how to strengthen their bodies.

He mumbles, ”The level of the physical body must be equal to the mental energy grade of the guide to regain full control of healing capabilities. A guide must first temper their bodies with a body tempering concoction, though the process is painful, it would greatly increase a guide’s physical strength enabling one to control their mental energy much more easily.”

”Body Tempering Concoction? What is this thing?” Lord Ye Jie, the duke murmured.

The Imperial Empress said, ”Isn’t this the legendary concoction that was recorded in history which is capable of strengthening the body? It is said to be paired with a Marrow Cleansing Concoction according to the body I am reading? But the recipe isn’t recorded.”

”Since it’s an old recipe, maybe its ingredients were long extinct as well,” said Emperor Ye Jie.

The book spirits started giggling among themselves when they heard about this and the four royal family members overheard them saying things which left them speechless.

”Those two concoctions... Isn’t that the one the first emperor almost drank which made the master angry?”

”Yes, the master said it’s equal to a bathwater and scolded the first emperor for mistaking it for soup.”

”The first emperor said that it smells like soup . How can it be used for bathing?”

”The ingredients were all gathered by the master from the market place.”

”It’s not that hard to buy, it’s just common ingredients according to the Master.”

”But I don’t remember the ingredients anymore...”

”It’s been a long time so I also don’t remember it anymore.”

”Didn’t the master write a cooking book about it?”

”That book was taken away by some royal family member and didn’t return it!”

”Yes! Bad person!”

The four members of the royal family actually didn’t expect that there is a written book about the two important concoctions and some past royal family member had taken it out of the forbidden library. A long time had passed, maybe had been destroyed or lost somewhere. However, the Imperial Emperor didn’t give up.

Emperor Ye Wang asked the book spirits, ”Little ones, do you remember the name of that cooking book written by the first empress?”

”This is what I remember! It’s called ’The book of remedies and not soup!’. I’m sure the master entitled that book with those words.”

”Yes. The Book of Remedies and not soup! That’s right, that’s the name!”

”Well, the non-soup part was added later after the First Emperor tried to make one himself and accidentally almost drank it again.”

”Actually, I think the imperial palace was almost burned down when the kitchen exploded.”

”At that time, the first emperor was only trying to boil water. Hahaha~”

”That’s why the title sounds a bit weird. You can only blame your first emperor for being silly.”

This time among the four members of the royal family only one of them recognized the title of that book. It was the imperial empress. That ridiculous sounding book fits the bill of the old book in her family clan. Actually, it was the ancestor from the Imperial Empress family line who took the book from the forbidden library. At that time, her great grandfather was said to be fond of cooking but never made real food. Instead, he was good at concoction of unknown medicines with various effects which are now called potions in the current era.

The Imperial Empress murmurs, ”The Book of Remedies and not soup! Why do I remember this book somewhere? Where did I hear it before?”

”My Empress, you know this book?” Emperor Ye Wang asked. It can be seen how excited he looks right now upon hearing that the two lost concoctions that can save the empire can still be found.

The Imperial Empress said, ”I’ve heard about it. No, I should have seen this cooking book. Back in the clan, my grandfather is cleaning up my great grandfather’s study. If I remember it correctly it should be among those old books. I just don’t know if my grandfather had thrown the book away or donated it somewhere.”

”No problem. As long as it truly exists, we can find it,” The duke, Lord Ye Jie said.

Emperor Ye Wang said, ”Then I will leave this to you A’Jie. I hope it can be found. This way the death rate of our people can be lowered. However, this library is full of unknown knowledge. If it can be shared outside it would be better.”

Once these words were spoken, the book spirits suddenly looked unfriendly. It seems the idea of letting the books from this place be used outside is not possible.

”Original books cannot be taken out! Those are our real forms, we don’t want to leave this place!”

”Moreover, the Master said only the royal family can see us, to other people we are just blank books.”
