His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1829: Chapter 522: Who to Congratulate? (2)

However, there was some comfort in knowing that these two childish big girls were still close to her; although their destinies were different, they remarkably sympathized with each other.

”I will have coffee. Please make tea for the pregnant woman!”

When Qin Mu went upstairs, she met Xiaomei and said that to her.

Xiaomei glanced at Qin Mingzhu, then looked at her with concern, not thinking of arguing or bickering with Qin Mingzhu.

”I’m okay!”

Qin Mu saw the worry in her eyes and gently reassured her.

Xiaomei nodded slightly and softly said: ”Everyone still doesn’t know. Should we tell them?”

”Let’s talk about it later!”

Qin Mu paused slightly, feeling like something was stuck in her throat; it took her a long moment to finally say this, and it was with tears in her eyes.

”Alright! Then I’ll make tea and coffee for you two. You both go upstairs and wait for me!”

After saying this, Xiaomei turned around and left, being very considerate.

Qin Mingzhu felt a little uncomfortable as she was not used to it; she was accustomed to Xiaomei’s wary gaze and her constantly rushing in to guard against her for Qin Mu’s sake. In the past, Qin Mingzhu was very jealous of Qin Mu for having such close friends to protect her. Although she was the mayor’s daughter, she didn’t even have a real friend. But now...

Well, their sisterhood was already very good now!

After going upstairs, Qin Mu sat behind her desk, wanting to work, but as she looked up, she saw Qin Mingzhu waddling around the window with a pregnant belly, giving Qin Mu the feeling of being in a dream.

Now, Qin Mingzhu appeared gentle and graceful, completely different from the aggressive attitude she had when they first met after Qin Mingzhu returned to the country.

She still remembered when Qin Mingzhu first met her and asked where the seductress had come from. At that time, Qin Mingzhu didn’t acknowledge her as her sister, yet she called Mu Yichen ’brother-in-law’ due to liking Jing Qing.

Later, Mu Yichen said he indeed had to respond to the title of ’brother-in-law’, since Qin Mu was indeed Qin Mingzhu’s sister, even if unwilling to admit it.

Perhaps, they shared the same blood type, and given the current situation, she had long stopped arguing about it.

Qin Mingzhu sensed Qin Mu watching her, but when she turned her head, Qin Mu had already lowered her head to work, leaving Qin Mingzhu unsure if it was a mere illusion, yet suddenly feeling the desire to stay together for a lifetime.

Sisters, never to be separated again.

Helian Hao arrived at the studio at noon; she had met Qin Mingzhu yesterday but hadn’t spoken. Upon encountering each other today, Helian Hao asked: ”Little pregnant woman, is this one a daughter or a son?”

”Of course, it’s a daughter. Why would I need so many sons?”

Qin Mingzhu held her belly and replied. Last time she announced her pregnancy when returning for New Year, Qin Haiming was very happy to hear about it, and she wanted him to help name the baby, but...

”Dad promised to name my daughter!”

Qin Mingzhu lowered her head, touching her belly, and couldn’t help but begin to cry again.

Helian Hao had just sat down and put her bag aside, turning her head to see Qin Mingzhu shedding tears, instantly feeling helpless and worried she had said something wrong.

”He did name her!”

Qin Mu couldn’t continue drawing, so she pushed the drawing aside and looked up towards the sofa.

Qin Mingzhu looked at her questioning, with tears still hanging in her eyes.

”Wang Yimo, he wrote in his diary, hoping for you and your husband to support each other, so he named the child Wang Yimo.”

Qin Mu said.

Qin Mingzhu’s heart trembled several times, tears falling in a stream.

”Really?”

”Not long after you left, he thought of the name. Or perhaps he had thought of it before you left but only wrote it down that day.”

Qin Mu added, seemingly calm.

”Wang Yimo! Wang Yimo!”

Qin Mingzhu lowered her head, crying and mumbling.

She had thought her daughter wasn’t lucky enough to have her grandfather name her, but it turns out...

Suddenly, she felt deep regret. Why did she return to Beijing so quickly? Why didn’t she bother him under his nose, spend more days with him?

Why didn’t she visit home often?

Helian Hao watched from the side, suddenly unsure of what to say. She initially worried about Qin Mu’s mood, fearing Qin Mu might overthink alone, so she hurried over after finishing her work at the hospital, only to be surprised by Qin Mingzhu’s nonstop tears since entering.

”Stop crying; it’s not good for the baby!”

Qin Mu softly said.

Qin Mingzhu wiped her tears and nodded: ”I don’t want to cry either!”
