A brand new day began with a magnificent sunrise.

And on this day…

*Crackle, crackle, crackle…*

As sparkling ice-crystals covered Yu Zi Yu’s three branches, they pierced through the heart of city-sized Mutant Octopus.

The brief life of this formidable Mutant Sea Creature finally came to an end.

It had to be brought to notice that an Octopus was creature with three hearts. Furthermore, apart from three hearts, it also possessed nine brains.

However, in comparison to the hearts, its brains were not that important.

*Spurt spurt spurt…*

Under the bright sunlight, blood immediately gushed out as the three crystalized branches of ice-crystal were consecutively pulled out. At the end of these three branches bound was a crimson heart the size of a millstone, brimming with vitality.

Its hearts happened to be the most valuable part of this massive Tier-3 Octopus.

The moment the Mutant Beasts laid their eyes on these three hearts, their eyes turned red. The rich scent of blood stimulated something within the depths of their Souls and bodies. Each Mutant Beast became restless, tapping their hooves anxiously.

*Roar, Roar, Roar…*

Amidst restless roars and groars, even the calm and steady Sarcosuchus, and Tundra started to grow restless.

This desire originated from the depths of their souls and instincts.

The more powerful the Mutant Beast, the more it could sense the terrifying nature of these three grindstone-sized hearts. It was not an exaggeration to say that just one of these hearts was enough to cultivate a peak Tier-2 Transcendent.

So, one could imagine what these three grindstone-sized hearts signified.

Evolution? Breakthrough?

No, it was not just that; there was also the indescribable concept of foundation.

“Hee Hee” Nine Tails, lying on one of Yu Zi Yu’s branches, suddenly laughed and stated, “It seems that these hearts have an extraordinary allure to them, don’t they?”

“Why, don’t you want it?” Yu Zi Yu was a bit surprised and curious.

In theory, these three hearts should have the same allure to all Mutant Beasts. After all, these three hearts were the essence of the Tier-3 Mutant Octopus, an existence comparable to precious treasures of Heaven and Earth. Moreover, compared to those treasures, these three hearts were even more direct.

One could say that these three hearts would significantly speed up the advancement to Tier-3 for even someone as powerful as Nine Tails. After all, the essence of a Tier-3 Mutant Sea Creature was not something to scoff at.

In this regard, it was a bit similar to Yu Zi Yu’s Tree Heart, which also had inexplicable uses.

“No, I don’t like it.” Nine Tails shook her head, before adding with a disdainful expression, “I don’t know why, but I don’t have much fondness for such bloody things. Now, I prefer to lie quietly on Master’s tree branch and cultivate.”

Saying that, Nine Tails once again lay down on Yu Zi Yu’s branch, slowly closing her eyes.

“Uh… Okay.” Yu Zi Yu sunk into silence for a while. He had come to realize that Nine Tails was indeed quite different from other Mutant Beasts.

If other Mutant Beasts were like ferocious beasts, ascending the throne, paving their way with blood and bones, then Nine Tails was like a Spirit Beast, paving her way to the throne with quiet cultivation.

In this respect, Misty Mountains also had another similar creature.

White Crane – a Mutant White Crane that disliked conflict and very much liked residing near the Spirit Pond.

Thinking of this, Yu Zi Yu could not help but smile.

“Spirit Beasts, ferocious beasts, this world is becoming more and more interesting,” saying so, Yu Zi Yu turned his focus on the eager eyes before him.

In a moment, Yu Zi Yu’s Spiritual Energy surged as cold currents that seemed to freeze everything in their path spread along the branches.

Before long, the three grindstone-sized hearts froze into blocks of ice.

They had not just frozen from the surface, but from the inside as well.

At this moment, Yu Zi Yu’s branches turned into sharp blades.

*Schlick, schlick, schlick…” Accompanied by crisp cutting sounds, the grindstone-sized hearts were cut into dozens of pieces of different sizes before they were sent flying towards different Mutant Beasts.

Sarcosuchus, Titan, Tundra, all received the largest piece, each as big as a head.

They were Atavistic Mutant Beasts, making these pieces most suitable for them.

As for other Mutant Beasts like Golden Ant, Honey Badger, and the others, Yu Zi Yu treated them equally.

Even Qing Gang and Thorns, both also received a share.

“Hehe… Master, thank you very much, I will gladly accept this.”

Qing Gang excitedly held the heart, the size of a mooncake, in his hands.

[Holy shit, this is a real treasure! Ordinary people wouldn’t even get the chance to look at it, let alone eat it! In the whole of China, probably no one has the chance to consume the essence of a Tier-3 Mutant Sea Creature! Yet I, a small guy from a small town, got the chance to eat such a treasure. It’s all thanks to the Divine Tree… Alright, enough talking…] Wiping the saliva from the corner of his mouth, Qing Gang decisively descended into the ground.

Now, with this piece of essence of a Tier-3 Mutant Sea Creature in his hand, along with a section of the massive Octopus’ tentacles, he had the confidence to break through to Tier 2.

However, just as his figure completely disappeared into the ground, a branch dived into the earth.

In a moment, in Qing Gang’s astonished gaze, another mooncake-sized piece fell into his hands.

“This is Leng Feng’s share, remember to give it to him.”

“…” Qing Gang was momentarily taken aback, but he did not hesitate and put it away.

After a while, with a serious expression, Qing Gang sincerely thanked, “I express my gratitude to Master on behalf of Leng Feng.”

“No need, he deserves it,” stating, Yu Zi Yu’s branch

Responding with a word, Yu Zi Yu’s branch retracted, pulled back towards the surface.

Leng Feng was different from others; he was the only one who had reached his current level alone, without much help from Yu Zi Yu. More importantly, Leng Feng got along well with many Mutant Beasts.

He even trained a Tier-1 Transcendent Rat Emperor – Shadie for Yu Zi Yu.

His talent for taming beasts was not just empty talk. He was so close to the Mutant Beasts, not to mention betrayal, even if he sees some Mutant Beasts getting injured, Leng Feng’s eyes would turn bloodshot in anger.

This point, Qing Gang had deliberately or unintentionally mentioned it in front of Yu Zi Yu.

Clearly, Qing Gang, who used to be a Human and a friend, wanted to earn a good impression of Leng Feng in front of Yu Zi Yu.

Yu Zi Yu naturally did not mind it. In his mind, he was somewhat concerned about Leng Feng.

After all, Leng Feng’s actions were clearly very obvious to everyone.

And now, he was alone in Misty Mountains, carrying water from Spirit Pond alone, planting a batch of Spirit Bamboos.

Firstly, for self-cultivation, and secondly, it was a proactive request after knowing that the Ninth Great Beast was a Panda.

As such, Yu Zi Yu naturally wouldn’t mistreat him.

The sea accepts all rivers; it is vast because it accommodates all. For someone like him who aspires to support this world, if he could not even accommodate a Human, it would be a huge joke.

Even if Leng Feng was not too loyal to him, so what? The Mutant Beast, who were like family members, were enough to become Leng Feng’s biggest constraint.

At this point, he subtly looked in the direction of China, with a hint of coldness in his eyes.

Who knows, maybe he might bring a pleasant surprise to Yu Zi Yu?
