The sea under the pitch-black sky gradually became calm again.

Not far from the arctic island, a gigantic gray Octopus, the size of a city, happened to be frozen, turned into a dazzling sculpture of ice.

Its lantern-like crimson eyes occasionally flickered, as if struggling and resisting.

However, compared to ordinary Mutant Beasts, which were merely frozen on the surface, Yu Zi Yu’s formidable Ice-Attribute Spiritual Energy had frozen not only the body but also the blood of the octopus.

This was not something the Octopus could escape from by ordinary means.

At this moment, Yu Zi Yu narrowed his eyes slightly as he focused his gaze on the giant Octopus.

Race: Mutant Octopus

Rank: Tier-3 Transcendent (Catastrophe)

Innate Talent: Ink – It’s capable of generating highly corrosive fluid. Even a single drop of it can pierce through steel plates. It is a terrifying power that is extremely difficult to defend against.

Unique Abilities: Black Pillar – It can shoot a jet of ink that resembles much like a beam of energy, which is terrifyingly corrosive and melts through everything. What is even more frightening is that its corrosion can only be endured, not resisted.

Mimicry – It can easily transform into animate and inanimate things, like coral and sand, and can hide its own aura.

Soft Body – Being a soft-bodied creature, it’s immune to most physical attacks.

Deadly Suckers – Its formidable suckers possessed extremely strong adhesion, and can easily pull objects tens of times its weight.

Spiritual Field—The symbol of Tier-3. The concentration of a million Spiritual Energy can even distort magnetic fields, which in turn ripples through reality, affecting the surroundings.

Toxins – It can secrete toxins that can paralyze enemies, even those of the same level would find it hard to resist.

Water Jet – It can shoot a jet of water by gathering a large amount of Water Element, resembling a high-pressure water gun.

Great Tsunami – By waving its tentacles, it can easily trigger a massive tsunami, reaching tens or even hundreds of meters in height, capable of engulfing cities and sweeping continents.

Going through the status screen of the gigantic Octopus, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes could not help but narrow slightly. There was no denying that this giant Octopus was quite formidable. Especially its Innate Talents – Ink, and its Unique Ability – Deadly Suckers.

One could almost ignore any kind of defense, which was rather terrifying, and the other ability allowed it to adhere to objects over ten times its weight, which was also pretty phenomenal. After all, the massive Octopus alone weighed around a hundred tonnes, which was already amazing, but its Deadly Suckers could pull tens of times its weight.

“Haaaa…” Yu Zi Yu’s emotions raged like horses galloping in the wild, he could not help but feel fortunate that he was a tree. If Yu Zi Yu had been any other Mutant Beast, he would have been ruthlessly dragged into the deep sea by now.

And even with his spectacular means, he would have been buried in the deep sea.

Geographical advantage was not just talk, especially for monsters like giant Octopuses living in the depths of the sea.

The difference in combat power when in the deep sea and when on the land was almost qualitative.

Of course, the other abilities of this giant Octopus should not be underestimated, such as the Water Pillar and the Great Tsunami…

On the battlefield, their might would not be much less than Yu Zi Yu’s Advent of the Tree World.

Unfortunately, just as Yu Zi Yu found it challenging to unleash Advent of the Tree World on this frozen sea, the giant Octopus also struggled to trigger a tsunami in this frozen ocean. It could be said that Yu Zi Yu had lessened almost 30% of the giant Octopus’s combat power by freezing the sea.

A wry smile flashed on Yu Zi Yu’s lips, feeling fortunate that he had cultivated Ice-Attribute Spiritual Energy.

Compared to the violent Fire-Attribute Spiritual Energy, Ice-Attribute Spiritual Energy was more about control. And if this control was executed effectively, it could prove to be lethal to these giant Sea Creatures coming from the depths of the sea.

“Now, it’s time to reap the rewards.” Saying this, Yu Zi Yu slowly raised his gaze, looking at the entire battlefield.

A vast expanse of white unfolded before his eyes; there was nothing but ice anywhere he saw. And countless Mutant Sea Creatures could be seen frozen on the surface of the sea like ice sculptures.

What drew the most attention were the monstrous Whale frozen in the tsunami, looking like a crescent moon from afar, and the giant Mutant Octopus that looked like a city.

One was a Tier-2 Transcendent, and the other was a Tier-3 Transcendent. Their power far exceeded human imagination.

In ordinary circumstances, the combined force of these two sea behemoths would be enough to obliterate several coastal cities.

*Haaaa…* Heaving a long, deep breath, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze shifted to the ferocious whale frozen in the tsunami not far away.

It looked different from ordinary whales. It had long fangs, and looked more ferocious at first glance.

Race: Mutant Orca

Rank: Tier-2 Transcendent

Innate Talent: Ultrasonic Waves – It can emit ultrasonic waves, and use these ultrasonic waves to not only to locate and search for prey but also to launch terrifying attacks.

Unique Abilities: Leapwave – Channeling its Spiritual Energy and leaping in the air, it can create a formidable wave toward the enemy with a whip of its tail.

Instinctive Ferocity – The more it fights, the more formidable its strength becomes, a kind of instinctive talent.

Predator – As a creature born for hunting, it possesses formidable combat skills.

Tsunami – Channeling its Spiritual Energy, it can create a colossal tsunami.

Ultrasonic Resonance – Using its unique ultrasonic waves, it can not only summon its kin but also shake the sea for thousands of kilometers, destroying everything.

“Another formidable deep-sea behemoth, huh!?”

Yu Zi Yu smiled, surprised at the strength of the Mutant Orca.

Ultrasonic Waves were not an ordinary power. Like gravity, it was an extremely powerful force, and not any less unique than gravity.

In the face of such power, ordinary Mutant Beasts and even Sea Creatures, let alone resisting it, would probably not even know how they died.

Although Yu Zi Yu had not witnessed this Mutant Orca using ultrasonic waves yet, based on his understanding of ultrasonic waves, he could imagine the terrifying nature of ‘ultrasonic wave attacks.’

This kind of power, even if used in a very rudimentary way, was quite formidable.

Moreover, considering that the Mutant Orca’s Innate Talent was Ultrasonic Waves, it would grow stronger as Orca grew stronger.

“If possible, it might be worth trying to subdue this Mutant Orca,” Yu Zi Yu muttered to himself. His gaze could not help but carry a hint of good-will, looking at the Mutant Orca frozen in the tsunami.

Nowadays, he was not lacking in aerial and terrestrial combat forces, but when it came to oceanic combat, he was indeed lacking in Mutant Beasts such as the Mutant Orca.

Considering that this Mutant Orca could grow to this level, its Innate Talent was definitely pretty spectacular.

With such Innate Talent, formidable strength, and ferocity, as well as its terrifying power of the ultrasonic waves, it would be unwise not to subdue it.

After all, compared to those rare Evolution Points, Yu Zi Yu valued talents more.

However, Yu Zi Yu had also taken interest in another of its Unique Ability, Ultrasonic Resonance, the ability to summon kin.

Subduing one would be equivalent to subduing an entire group. Such a deal was not just profitable; it was exceptionally lucrative.
