On an arctic island…

The island on which Yu Zi Yu was rooted was covered in silvery-white snow, the sky and earth merging into one at the horizon, blurring the boundaries between the sky and earth. Only a string of footprints, like flower petals, adorned a corner of the ground, becoming a silent annotation.

At this moment, Old Ninth, Brewmaster, walked out from the depths of the island, his face full of grievances.

“Divine Tree, you want me to go out and find the den of the Polar Bears in this weather?”

“Why, you don’t want to?” With a hint of amusement, Yu Zi Yu gently waved his silvery-white branches.

Seeing this, Old Ninth shrank his neck, a trace of panic flashing deep in his eyes.

It was not that he was afraid that the Divine Tree would attack him. He would have more than welcomed the attacks.

The key was that the Divine Tree did not trouble him with the hard stuff, but rather with the soft stuff.

Yu Zi Yu actually… tickled him.

Tickling, it was hard to imagine that such childish games could be so deadly.

Especially with Yu Zi Yu’s numerous branches, each imbued with Spiritual Energy of different attributes… Even the mighty Brewmaster could only gawk helplessly as one branch after another came at him, unable to dodge.

As a result, Brewmaster, who simply loved eating, sleeping, and waking up to eat again, reluctantly had to get up and follow the Divine Tree’s orders.

However, until now, Brewmaster was still a bit puzzled; why would he, a Tier-2 Transcendent, be afraid of tickling?

[How ridiculous!?] With a confused look on his face, Brewmaster shook his head helplessly.

Then, he pressed down the hat on his head, lifted his sturdy short legs, and walked away unsteadily.

At this moment, glancing at the departing back of Brewmaster, the corners of Yu Zi Yu’s lips slightly rose into a smile.

With Brewmaster taking action, he didn’t have to worry too much about the Polar Bears. After all, the current Brewmaster was quite terrifying in terms of strength.

No, it should be extremely terrifying.

He was proficient in three Elements; Ice, Fire, and Earth. He could resist most attacks from these three Elements. In addition, his physique was extremely robust.

Such an existence could simply be called a monster.

Not to mention, ordinary Mutant Beasts, even if Nine Tails, Bull Demon, and others join forces, it would be difficult to deal with him.

According to Brewmaster himself, ‘Even if he stood still, breaking through his defenses for a Transcendent of the same Tier would not be an easy task.’

It’s easy to imagine how tough this black and white Bear, Brewmaster, was.

He was a top-tier meat shield, literally.

The only problem was that he was too lazy. Even Yu Zi Yu had no choice but find a way to make him diligent and obedient.

Of course, this was just proof of their relationship–a kind of joke between friends. There was no malice.

And Brewmaster also understood this.

As he left, a slight smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s lips. Apparently, he also enjoyed this warm, family-like, friend-like feeling.

At this moment, a voice suddenly rang in Yu Zi Yu’s ear, “Master, why didn’t you send me?”

With a hint of doubt, a white as jade like a sinuous body slowly emerged from the depths of the arctic island.

It was none other than White Snake, the guardian Spirit Beast of Misty Mountains.

At present, White Snake was already 30 meters long. However, she did not look scary or ugly, rather she looked extremely beautiful, like the most exquisite piece of artwork.

Yu Zi Yu would always marvel at her sight, praising, [Both Nine Tails and White Snake have transcended their races in terms of beauty…]

If they took a Human form, they would definitely be exceptionally beautiful, captivating the entire world.

Be that as it may, they were still quite pleasing to the eyes even in their current form. Especially White Snake’s pair of crystal-clear, deep blue snake eyes, they made the onlookers’ hearts tremble.

“You are currently at a critical juncture in your cultivation. It would be unwise to send you out.” Saying so, Yu Zi Yu glanced deeply at White Snake.

Now, her Spiritual Energy has reached around 80,000-90,000.

If everything went well, she would be the third or fourth Tier-2 Transcendent of Misty Mountains.

After all, White Snake’s Innate Talent was already amazing, born with the Ice Elemental Talent. And with Yu Zi Yu’s careful cultivation since her childhood, her foundation far surpassed other Mutant Beasts of the same level.

However, that wasn’t the most important aspect.

The most crucial point was that White Snake, this favored child of the Ice Element, unexpectedly had the benefit of cultivating inside a medium-sized Ice-Attribute Spirit Stone Mine.

It should be brought to notice that Ice-Attribute Mutant Beasts like her already had a cultivation speed far superior to Mutant Beasts of the same rank in extremely cold areas, and with the addition of the Ice-Attribute Spirit Stone Mine, her cultivation speed was unparalleled.

If one took a closer look at White Snake, they could notice that White Snake was surrounded by a white mist, lending her an air of extreme mystery and coldness.

White mist was a manifestation of rich concentration of Ice-Attribute Spiritual Energy in reality.

In other words, when White Snake emerged from the depths of the island, a mist had appeared in the surroundings as the surrounding Ice-Attribute Spiritual Energy became concentrated, creating the illusion of a paradise.

Furthermore, wisps of white mist constantly flowed into White Snake’s body.

“Okay.” White Snake became silent, realizing that her cultivation had entered a crucial stage.

[As Master said, I have to condition myself to prepare for the imminent breakthrough. If I got injured outside or damaged my foundation, it would be really bad.] Thinking of this, White Snake rolled her eyes.

[I wanted to share Master’s worries, but who would have thought that Master would still be taking care of me.]

*Haaaa…* Heaving a sigh, White Snake arrived by Yu Zi Yu’s trunk. The next moment, in a skillful manner, her slender body wound around Yu Zi Yu’s sturdy trunk before she started slithering higher and higher.

In no time, White Snake had settled on the treetop, just like Nine Tails, coiling on one of the branches.

“This girl.” Yu Zi Yu wryly smiled, feeling a bit helpless.

Compared to Nine Tails, White Snake was even more clingy.

Every now and then, she would climb on his body…

However, Yu Zi Yu did not mind it.

The pure Spiritual Energy refined by Yu Zi Yu would also benefit White Snake in her cultivation.

Thinking of this, Yu Zi Yu no longer paid attention to it.

Instead, he carefully examined the gains from his recent cultivation.

“Close to six million Spiritual Energy…”

A smile of satisfaction bloomed on Yu Zi Yu’s lips. Such fearsome Spiritual Energy was enough to prove his recent efforts.

However, that was not the most important thing.

The crucial factor was that within several kilometers of the arctic island, the sea was teeming with countless Mutant Fish for him to harvest.

For the moment, his Evolution Points were actually in a state of steady growth.

As these thoughts crossed his mind, Yu Zi Yu looked at the status screen and checked his Evolution Points.

“Four million… not bad,” praising in his heart, Yu Zi Yu started devising his next course of actions.

[It’s about time to use the Evolution Points for the upgrades. Now, my body has already adapted to the Ice-Attribute Spiritual Energy, and my cultivation speed has stabilized. At this point, while using the Evolution Points for the upgrades, my cultivation speed is bound to skyrocket once again. According to my estimation, if everything goes well, my Spiritual Energy should reach seven to eight million in a month or two… By then, I can start preparing to break through to the fearsome Tier-4, also known as ‘Natural Disaster.’]
