“Master, what are your plans now?” looking at the distant Mutant Beasts frozen in ice, Nine Tails asked with a playful smile.

[These guys probably have no idea what terror really means, do they? Although Master has not gone all out, with his strength, these guys are truly unable to pose a threat.] However, after a moment, as if thinking of something, Nine Tails suddenly smiled.

[Well, it’s not like Master has never gone all out. The last time, when Master resisted the nuclear missile and triggered an earthquake affecting half the continent, he should have gone all out. Still, that kind of destruction is really different from the devastating destruction of tidal waves.]

Meanwhile, Yu Zi Yu only smiled and did not answer.

Instead, his gaze turned to the massive Octopus the size of a city, and stated, “Except for him and that Mutant Orca, I’ll leave the other Mutant Sea Creatures to you. Whether to kill them or spare them, it’s up to you.”

At this point, Yu Zi Yu paused for a moment, as if remembering something, before reminding, “If you decide to kill, let me know. I’ll finish the job.”

“Yes, Master.” Pursing her lips, Nine Tails could not help but chuckle.

Having followed Yu Zi Yu for so long, she naturally knew that her Master could gain some mysterious power from killing other Mutant Beasts. Although she was not quite clear about what this power was, she understood that it should be of great benefit to Yu Zi Yu.

Because of this, the Mutant Beasts following Yu Zi Yu, more or less, would bring back prey.

This had become an unwritten rule in Misty Mountains.

…

As the night deepened, the dark clouds shrouding the sky gradually dispersed, revealing a bright and pure moon.

At this moment…

*Gulp, gulp…* Yu Zi Yu’s countless roots happened to be expanding and contracting, as if swallowing something.

At the same time, a visible stream of pure Spiritual Energy flowed along the roots, continuously rushing toward the depths of Yu Zi Yu’s body.

*Haaaa…* Taking a deep breath, a slight smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s lips.

Compared to lower-level Mutant Beasts, the Spiritual Energy of such powerful Mutant Sea Creatures was too pure. Even with such rudimentary absorption, the conversion ratio had reached an astonishing ratio of 2:1.

It was not even midnight yet, and his Spiritual Energy has increased by 2,000-3,000. And it must not be forgotten that the giant Octopus had a Spiritual Energy of one million.

Even if Yu Zi Yu only absorbed it in such a rudimentary way, he could still increase his Spiritual Energy by more than 500,000, not including the massive amount of Evolution Points he would gain from this Mutant Octopus.

Yu Zi Yu had never considered subduing this Mutant Octopus. A Mutant Sea Creature this powerful was difficult to control even for Yu Zi Yu. Once it returned to the deep sea, it would turn into a Dragon. Despite his enormous confidence, Yu Zi Yu was not arrogant enough to venture into the deep sea to suppress this giant Octopus.

As such, to prevent unnecessary worries and tension from taking root in the mind, the best option would be to kill it right away.

However, aside from resorting to immediate elimination, there were other aspects that should not be disregarded.

Just like now, Yu Zi Yu was continuously absorbing the Spiritual Energy of this giant Octopus through the roots.

As a terrifying Tier-3 Transcendent, its Spiritual Energy was exceptionally pure, even amazing to Yu Zi Yu.

His continuous devouring, combined with the Ice-Attribute Spirit Stone Mine deep in the arctic island, and the Evolution Points Yu Zi Yu possessed, it could be said that Yu Zi Yu’s Spiritual Energy would undergo an explosive increase in a short period.

However, at this moment, as if thinking of something, Yu Zi Yu’s lips curled up into a smile as he looked toward the sky.

Seemingly noticing Yu Zi Yu’s gaze…

*Screech, Screech…* Accompanied by high-pitched cries, two Inferno Birds emerged from the clouds.

“Go back and tell Bull Demon to come here in turns.”

“Yes, Master.”

Immediately accepting the commands, the two Inferno Birds flapped their wings and flew toward Misty Mountains.

While a Tier-3 Transcendent was precious to Yu Zi Yu, for these Mutant Beasts, some of whom were only Tier-2 Transcendents, or even Tier-1, it was truly a treasure in every sense.

According to Yu Zi Yu’s speculation, just the carcass of this Tier-3 Octopus alone could nurture a batch of Tier-2 Transcendent.

Such as White Snake, who was on the verge of having a breakthrough, as well as the Sarcosuchus, Qing Gang, and the others. If they could get to eat a piece of a Tier-3 Transcendent’s meat before their breakthrough, it would be twice as easier for them to break through.

As these thoughts flashed in Yu Zi Yu’s mind, a slight smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s lips as a look of anticipation filled his face. [After all, is there anything more meaningful than watching the Mutant Beasts I have raised grow?]

…

Time passed quickly; several days had already gone by.

However, this day happened to be pretty significant, because exactly one year ago, the era of the resurgence of Spiritual Energy had begun.

In other words, today marked the one-year anniversary of the advent of the Era of Transcendence.

And on this day…

*Boom, boom…*

Accompanied by trembling of the ground, a black torrent appeared at the distant horizon.

Upon closer inspection, it was three giant beasts leading a stampede of Mutant Beasts.

The behemoths leading the stampede were Sarcosuchus, Mammoth, and Tyrannotitan.

As Atavistic Mutant Beasts, their current sizes had become increasingly massive. From a distance, they resembled skyscrapers, with the tallest Tyrannotitan reaching over fifty meters in height.

Especially his gaping and hideous maw, always dripping thick saliva, was particularly terrifying.

At this moment, the Tyrannotitan seemed to have sensed the gaze coming from the horizon. He actually shut his hideous maws, restraining its dripping saliva, before letting out a deafening roar that shook the vast sky.

*Rooaar..*

His roar seemed to carry a hint of joy.

“In the time I haven’t seen it, this guy has become quite perceptive.” Yu Zi Yu smiled, feeling quite satisfied.

Then, a silver-white branch extended continuously, stretching thousands of meters before plunging straight into the sea.

After a while…

*Si si si…* Following a surge of Ice-Attribute Spiritual Energy, the sea began to freeze, and an ice passage emerged, providing a pathway for the Mutant Beasts to cross.

Not all Mutant Beasts could adapt to the ocean, nor could all Mutant Beast fly or use Earth Escape. As such, creating a path for these Mutant Beasts to reach this arctic island became a necessity.
