Eternal Thief

Ace couldn’t help but feel emotional seeing the final three materials to upgrade the Eternal Thief Fate Compass, which he got in the Mighty Demon Continent; over six decades had passed ever since then, and he was now a Law State cultivator.

“Alright, Moira, are you ready to evolve?” Ace asked while grinning.

“Yes, sir! I know I’ve been useless recently to you, but please don’t worry; I’ll try to be more useful after everything you’ve done for me!” Moira’s solemn voice sounded.

“Nonsense!” Ace retorted, “You’ve never been useless and never will. You have saved my life many times and even helped me when no one could, so you are my most cherished treasure, and it’ll never change!”

“T-thank you for your favor…” Moira replied with a hint of happiness.

Ace nodded in stratification; after all, it wasn’t like Moira had turned useless, but it was just that he was in a place far above Moira’s current grade, and he didn’t dare to roam in the Mortal Ascension Heaven to seek fortune since he was still too weak.

Ace then placed all the materials in the Thief’s Space and ordered the system without hesitation, “System, I’ve gathered all the materials. Start the Upgrade Process of Eternal Thief Fate Compass!”

The next moment, the system’s interface opened in front of him.

Looking at the interface, Ace chucked, “Well, it’s a good thing I’m not planning on leaving during the upgrade… continue with the process!”

The moment Ace confirmed, he felt his inner world tremble, and thereafter, the dark blue ETFC appeared in front of him in its full glory with a half-white and half-black decagram compass needle in the center and hovering in front of him.

Ace was startled because it was his first time seeing the ETFC outside his inner world, and the system clearly did it since he couldn’t move it on his own, no matter what.

The next moment, one after another, the required materials started to appear. First, the soul gold, which was a bright gold color, was shifting between a corporeal and ethereal state. It moved and began to cover the entire ETFC like a golden coat.

The next was the Lighting Wyrm Beast Core, a palm-sized sphere with kaleidoscopic golden white lights that turned into stardust and incorporated with the ETFC, releasing a mystical aura.

Then, the 10,000-year-old Illusion Grass was three meters tall with seven golden grass blades and faint yellow runic patterns as it appeared to shift between illusion and reality. It suddenly ignited a dark yellowish flame and covered the entire compass, shocking Ace.

Thereafter, the Crimson Platinum moved and directly entered the flames, turning its collar dark crimson.

But then, the One Eye Devil’s Core, which was pitch black like a physical black hole, moved and absorbed the Time Space Segment, which was half black and half white, and a terrifying spacetime aura surface, making the entire space tremble!

The next moment thereafter, the pitch-black core entered the crimson flames, instantly turning into pitch black, and Ace instantly felt a primordial aura from the ETFC!

The next moment, the compass body covered in pitch-black flames started to tremble and revolve as the fire seemed to be compassing and being absorbed in the ETFC!

Ace watched intently as he felt his own understanding of forging seemed to be increasing at a terrifying speed, and many unclear things became clear.

After all, seeing an Eternal Provenance Treasure being refined was an extremely rare sight, and even those godly forgers would give up anything to witness this.

The entire process lasted for hours, and Ace was completely absorbed in it. When the flames vanished, the ETFC revealed itself!

The dark blue disk was shimmering like a starry obsidian; the ten-pointer compass needle was giving off a primordial mystic air. Furthermore, a new black symbol was glowing in a dark golden light above the white compass needle point with the one above the black compass needle point, while the other eight remained dormant.

Moreover, in the center of the compass now seemed to be a planetary formation that wasn’t there before, and it appeared to be alive; the ETFC was now giving off a completely new and mystical vibe.

At this moment, the ETFC suddenly turned into a dark blue streak and entered Ace’s heart. It appeared back in the middle of his inner World of Darkness and started to revolve as if reasoning with his world as a profound law started to affect his entire world.

Ace finally snapped out of his daze, and the system’s voice rang. At that moment, a new interface appeared.
