Eternal Thief

Zaria was dazzled by her house status, and now that she was paying attention, she finally noticed that this thing had even gotten her name accurately, and even Ace called her that.

Zaria had never told anyone about her full name. Not even Leah was aware of it because she hated it. The only person who knew this was Falcon or her dead mother. Yet, this thing in her head could accurately deduct not only her name but also her cultivation base and racial bloodline to its accurate rank. Even Falcon couldn’t do that because there was no way of measuring someone’s bloodline in the entire Mortal Ascension Heaven.

There were only density grades: Low (Less than 10% Pure), Intermediate (Less than 50% Pure), High (Less than 75% Pure), and Perfect (Less than 95% Pure). If there could be grades, then the Low should be Ascension Grade-1, Intermediate Ascension Grade-3 or 4, the High between Ascension Grade-6 or 7, and the Perfect would be Ascension Grade-8.

Zaria knew her bloodline was perfect, and Leah wasn’t any different. In fact, Leah should be even more talented than her because her bloodline density was even purer than hers, which should be the legendary purity of 99%, which means Ascension Grade-9 and that’s why Falcon was so obsessed with them.

Yet now, this thing not only accurately measured her bloodline density rank but even told her that it could be further evolved.

“Do you think I’m a dumbass to fall for your tricks again? Bloodline evaluation and prime law reset? Unless this thing is God, it’s impossible to achieve!” She cursed Ace, who clearly didn’t believe anything in front of her.

After all, as a peak-stage Ascension Lord, she had a profound point of view of laws and the world, and her knowledge was profound, so she instantly thought that Ace was again trying to trick her. As for the ‘Lucky Thief, it wasn’t even her primary concern. Ace pursed his lips since he really didn’t like how Zaria spoke, but he knew she wouldn’t believe him right from the get-go. After all, the first three house members were the same in the past.

“You’ll believe it when you experience it. Let’s start with what the Thief House is about before I explain the concept of house points and the house shop. Once I explain the basics, you can try to buy the techniques in the shop and see for yourself if they’re just nonsense or not.

“I can put my neck on the line when I say that the cultivation technique you’ll get from the house shop would be top-notch and nothing like anything you’ve ever seen.

“As for resetting your prim law, there would also be a solution in the shop. So, drop the attitude and listen…”

Zaria pursed her lips in irritation and anger, but since she had already fallen under Ace’s schemes, she had no choice but to listen. As Ace patiently explained the benefits of the Thief House and its functions, Zaria was in disbelief, not believing anything.

Especially once Ace explained the private cultivation chambers with a time multiplier since this was just absurd. After all, Zaria had never heard of such a profound use of time law since it was the most difficult law to grasp, and the treasures related to it were even rarer.

Nonetheless, Ace continued with his introduction since he could show her afterward and make her believe.

….and these are the current functions of the thief’s house. But as I explained, you need house points to use them, which you can earn by completing missions or by theft. I can also activate them for you, but I won’t do that unless you behave!” Ace finished his explanation.

But Zaria was looking at him with a strange expression before she burst into laughter with a hint of rage and disbelief, “Hahahaha, so you’re not only a conman and a perverted scoundrel, but also a delusional dumbass, huh? I can’t believe I fell into a dumbass’s scheme so easily! Maybe I was blinded by my arrogance. I’m telling you, you dumbass, this thing is playing with your mind, so how about you let me help to get rid of it?”

Ace was speechless before he snickered, “Since that’s the case, how about I show you? I’ve explained everything there was to explain, and once you see it yourself, you’ll believe me, right?”

Zaria still didn’t believe him as she laughed even harder, but the next moment, her laugh came to an abrupt halt when, right behind Ace’s, an imposing door formed filled with profound mysteries.

Ace was very satisfied seeing Zaria’s dumbfounded expression as he stood up and walked towards the entrance of the thief’s house, which started to open.

He then looked at Zaria and scoffed, “Follow me!”

Zaria instantly snapped out of her daze and was about to curse back when she saw Ace had already vanished into the pitch place entrance, and she couldn’t believe her eyes.

‘It must be that thing again messing with my head! But… what if he’s telling the truth and this thief’s house is really as magical as he is making it to be? Didn’t this mean everything would be true? I just need to follow him inside and confirm myself…’

Zaria’s expression finally showed a hint of hesitation, but she still didn’t believe Ace. However, since the proof was in front of her, she could confirm it herself. After all, she was far stronger than Ace and knew her senses couldn’t be fooled easily.

So, taking a deep breath, she stood up and walked towards the entrance of the Thief’s House, and after a moment of hesitation, she gritted her teeth and entered. She wanted to prove Ace wrong after everything he did to her.

Yet the moment, the moment she stepped into the entrance, she clearly felt the surrounding space changed and the law involved were nothing like she had ever seen.

After a moment of darkness, she finally regained her vision, standing in a spacious hall with a dark theme and a massive table in the center. Then she finally noticed the ambiguous yet mystical atmosphere of the thief’s house, which seemed to compliment her bloodline!

However, then she noticed Ace but this time, Ace was sitting on the dark throne at the very center of the table like a King on his throne, giving completely different and regal vibes.

At this moment, Ace spoke, thoroughly relishing Zaria’s gobsmacked look, “Welcome to the Thief’s House, D.U.M.B.A.S.S!”
