Chapter 138: Chapter 138: Collecting Some Interest

When he heard Tang Wushuang offer compensation, Lin Yun’s expression didn’t change in the slightest. ’Are you kidding me? I have both your and your master’s Space Rings. What the hell could you possibly have left to compensate me with?’

”Tang Wushuang, you know the grudge between us. It’s simply irreconcilable,” Lin Yun said lightly.

Hearing this, Tang Wushuang seethed with anger. He had originally planned to placate Lin Yun for now and figure things out after he got out, but who knew this guy would be so unyielding.

Normally, it wouldn’t have been so easy for Lin Yun to defeat Tang Wushuang out in the open. The damnable thing was that the Heaven and Earth Primordial Power here was too thin, completely blocked outside by the Array.

In a pure contest of physical strength, Tang Wushuang was no match for Lin Yun, which was why he had been captured. ’If we were outside where the Heaven and Earth Primordial Power was richer, how could I have ended up in such a miserable state?’

Calling the three men over, Lin Yun handed Tang Wushuang to them. He then added, ”Remember, ’entertain’ my friend here well. At the very least, make sure he remembers these days for the rest of his life.”

”Don’t worry, Young Master Lin. We’ll make it an unforgettable experience for him,” the three men replied with a laugh. However, in Tang Wushuang’s eyes, their smiles were filled with a chilling coldness.

The three men carried Tang Wushuang away. As for how to torture Tang Wushuang, Lin Yun didn’t need to do it himself. Besides, he wasn’t in the mood for such things; he would rather use that time for cultivation.

After swallowing a Qi Essence Pill, Lin Yun once again dove into a frenzy of cultivation. Meanwhile, Tang Wushuang, who had been carried away by the three men, was in for an utterly miserable time.

”Haha, kid, how about it? How does this young master’s ’spring water’ taste?” the skinny student said to Tang Wushuang with a grin. As for what he was making Tang Wushuang drink, one look at Tang Wushuang’s face, twisted to the limit with rage, made it obvious.

”You animals! I swear, when I get out of here, I’ll make you all die in a latrine pit!” Tang Wushuang roared. But just as he was speaking, the skinny student’s ”spring water” shot directly into his mouth.

Retching repeatedly, Tang Wushuang had never felt so humiliated in his entire life. For him, every day now felt like a year. His tormentors weren’t strong, but their methods of torture were endless.

In just a few short days, they had tormented Tang Wushuang to within an inch of his life. If not for the hatred in his heart keeping him going, he would have likely bitten his own tongue off to commit suicide long ago.

”Kill... I’ll kill you all...” After another round of dry heaving, Tang Wushuang snarled, his face ferocious. His tone held no empty threat, only pure, concentrated killing intent.

”Oh? Still threatening us? You’re asking to die.” Hearing his words, the three men rushed forward and gave him a savage beating. Tang Wushuang had to endure this kind of assault several times every day.

”Strip him naked and hang him at the cave entrance. Let everyone see his ’graceful figure,’ haha,” the skinny student ordered the others.

Soon, Tang Wushuang was stripped completely bare and hung from a large tree.

The scene quickly attracted a crowd of students. They all stared at the naked Tang Wushuang and taunted him with glee.

”Whoa, this kid is really pale.”

”He is pale, and has a nice body too. What a pity. It would be better if he were a girl.”

Listening to the students’ chatter, two streams of tears flowed from Tang Wushuang’s tightly shut eyes. He was crying. Tang Wushuang was actually crying. These past few days had been his own personal apocalypse.

His face, his pride, his dignity as the Young Prince—it had all been utterly destroyed by these people. Not only was he brutally beaten every day, but his spirit was also being relentlessly tormented.

Tang Wushuang, who had always been arrogant and looked down on everyone, finally broke at this moment and shed tears.

Lin Yun, who hadn’t left his cave in several days, emerged at that very moment. He had fully restored his Elemental Power in just a single day. Originally just wanting some fresh air, he saw from a great distance a pale, naked body hanging from a nearby tree, surrounded by a crowd of gawking students.

”Young Master Lin, you’re here! We followed your orders and really gave this punk a thrashing,” the three men said, quickly coming up to greet him as he exited the cave.

”Mm. Let’s go have a look.” Seeing Tang Wushuang’s current state, Lin Yun felt a great sense of satisfaction. ’This villain tried to kill me time and time again. Now that I’ve finally caught him, how could I justify not torturing him mercilessly?’

Accompanied by the three men, Lin Yun slowly walked to the spot beneath Tang Wushuang. The crowd parted, making a path for him. Reaching the front, Lin Yun looked up at the completely naked Tang Wushuang and said, ”Tang Wushuang, it looks like you’re doing well. Even in the mood to come out and sunbathe.”

At the sound of Lin Yun’s voice, Tang Wushuang’s tightly shut eyes snapped open. They blazed as if two volcanoes were erupting within them, and killing intent radiated uncontrollably from him.

”Lin Shan, you’re an animal! A devil! If you have the guts, then kill me! As long as I, Tang Wushuang, am still alive, I swear I will make you suffer a thousand, ten thousand times more pain!” Tang Wushuang roared madly.

Listening to Tang Wushuang’s roars, Lin Yun looked at the three men. ”It seems your ’hospitality’ for Young Master Tang still isn’t enough.”

Hearing Lin Yun’s words, the three men replied in fear and trepidation, ”Young Master Lin, rest assured, we will definitely not disappoint you...”

”Mm, good. The next time I see him, I hope his mouth is a little cleaner,” Lin Yun said lightly.

Without lingering, Lin Yun returned to his cave. After he left, the three men turned their gazes back to Tang Wushuang, the malice in their eyes completely undisguised.

Meeting their gazes, Tang Wushuang’s heart went cold. He had no idea what kind of nasty new tricks these people were about to pull.

”Get him down,” one of the three commanded. Soon, Tang Wushuang was let down.

With his meridians sealed by Lin Yun, Tang Wushuang was now nothing more than a lamb to the slaughter in their hands.

”Kid, you made us lose face in front of Young Master Lin. Looks like your punishment still isn’t enough.” As before, the moment Tang Wushuang was on the ground, he was brutally beaten once more.

In the days that followed, Tang Wushuang lived in utter misery. His mind began to break down under the simply inhuman torture.

Now, the only thought in Tang Wushuang’s mind was that he must kill Lin Yun.

Facing the daily beatings and humiliation, Tang Wushuang became like a dead man. His eyes were vacant, and his entire presence was listless.

Lin Yun was completely unaware of all this. He was focused on his cultivation, with the Qi Essence Pills providing him a steady stream of Elemental Power every day.

Lin Yun, who had just broken through to the Seventh Layer of the Opening Realm, managed to completely consolidate his new cultivation base in less than half a month. Now was the time for accumulation. Once he reached the Peak of the Seventh Layer of the Opening Realm, he would be able to break through to the Eighth Layer of the Opening Realm.
