Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Upon reaching the hospital, having kept watch from midnight until dawn, there had still been no improvement.

The old master, upon hearing how Huo Jinyun’s driving to the hospital was in disarray, looked towards Uncle Guan, ”Go find out what happened.”

Early morning

Without the need to go to the hospital, nor to step outside, she had the rare chance to sleep in. Che Huan leaned into Huo Jinnan’s embrace and lazily gazed towards the balcony.

The golden sunlight filtered through the leaves of the kapok tree outside the window, casting mottled patterns on the white sheer curtains, and filling the room with a hint of a dreamy ambiance.

After a while, she stretched lazily and caught sight of him as he awoke.

Huo Jinnan’s hand rested on Che Huan’s waist, ”Have you really never thought about having a wedding ceremony?”

”Mmm.” Che Huan murmured in a soft and moist voice, rubbing against Huo Jinnan like a cat.

Huo Jinnan’s slender fingers pinched her cheek, ”You’re so easy to marry.”

Che Huan tugged at Huo Jinnan’s high-quality pajamas, her fingertips gently rubbing the fabric, ”Yes, I don’t trouble you at all. If I had known earlier that you found it too easy, I would have listened to Xiaowei and given you a hard time.”

”...”

Huo Jinnan slightly furrowed his brow and made a call to Uncle Lu, ”Enroll Huo Minhan in a tutoring class before the school term starts, and sign him up for after-school classes as well.”

”...”

Uncle Lu was astonished; the master had never taken little master’s studies so seriously before. While other children were swamped with tutoring classes, the young master lived blissfully without them, but it seems that married men truly are different!

After Huo Jinnan hung up the phone, he saw Che Huan fixing her gaze upon him, ”What’s wrong?”

Che Huan bit her lip and looked at Huo Jinnan, ”Is this what you call personal revenge?”

Huo Jinnan got out of bed and sat down to dress elegantly, ”The one taking personal revenge is Huo Minhan.”

”...”

Che Huan was silent, some people really had a knack for turning black into white!

”Let’s go to the darkroom later.”

”The darkroom?”

”Yes.”

Huo Jinnan stood up and took his trousers from the side.

Che Huan watched him, wondering what a darkroom was.

Huo Jinnan, seeing that she did not know, had no intention of explaining.

Che Huan bit her lip again; just hearing the word ’darkroom’, she felt it wasn’t a nice place—no sunlight, a darkroom!

Could it be a basement?

He didn’t have a penchant for SM, did he?

Had she missed the signs because he hid it so well?

Huo Jinnan ignored Che Huan’s gaze and went to the bathroom to shave.

Che Huan got up, dressed, and went to wash up.

After washing up, she saw Huo Jinnan sitting on the bed waiting for her and couldn’t help asking, ”What’s the function of the darkroom?”

”You’ll find out once we’re there.”

Huo Jinnan stood up and took Che Huan’s wrist in his hand.

Che Huan bit her lip and looked up at him seriously.

Huo Jinnan tightened his grip and walked towards the door.

After descending the stairs to the first floor, he continued downward. Che Huan’s eyes widened in sudden realization—it really was the basement.

Huo Jinnan glanced sideways at Che Huan, her whole body on guard, and uttered in a mysterious tone, ”If you want, after we finish the main task, you can experience it.”

”...!”

Huo Xiaoer, you bad person!

So he was saying it wasn’t that kind of place, and she had wronged him? That’s good, that’s good!

Che Huan patted her chest and followed Huo Jinnan downstairs, where she saw Uncle Lu from a distance.

Uncle Lu looked towards Huo Jinnan, ”Sir, this is the color darkroom built according to your specifications.”

”Is everything ready?”

”Yes, it’s all set. You and your wife can go in and take a look.”
