Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 287: Chapter 286:The grind never stops.

BANG!!!

A subtle explosion sounded out as the rubble that had buried the tigerkin, Morvak exploded into the air, the massive figure of the tigerkin stepping out unharmed.

”Heh! Interesting, really interesting!” He smiled, a wide, toothy and excited grin.

”Young master, should we go after that guy?” A lionman asked from the side.

BAM!!!

A backhanded slap was the only response he received.

”You? Go after someone that could send me flying with a single blow? Do you wish to court death or are you trying to embarrass me?”

”Urghh...” the lionman spat out blood as he bowed his head.

”Leave him be! He is mine. Dante Draven. Our clash shall be legendary! Hahahahahahaha!!! I shall show the world that only I, Morvak Rakar, am deserving of Kaila’s affection! Hahahahahahaha!!” Laughing wildly, the large cat made his way out, not bothering with his kneeling subordinates.

Meanwhile....

A far off distance from where the clash had occurred between Dante and Morvak, two young men could be seen watching the exiting figures of Dante and the girls.

”You’re playing a very dangerous game my friend.” The youth with the sealed mouth spoke to his friend who remained silent after hearing him.

”He just sent the sixth ranked genius on the heaven list packing with a casual blow, you should stop this folly before you get yourself and me killed.” The youth for once, wasn’t excited to face a powerful foe, not when this one was Dante..

The blindfolded youth stayed silent for a few moments, watching as Dante’s group disappeared, before he turned around,

”I need to speak with my brother...” and walked off.

”Haaa.... Too dangerous... too dangerous.. I hope you still know what you’re doing, Aegis.”

The sealed mouthed youth shook his head before he turned and went after his friend.

........

”Now.. thish ish the home welcoming I.... Gulp... needed..” I breathed heavily as I gulped down another mountain full of plates.

”Damn... seems I’ve got competition.” I muttered as I watched in awe, little Lucien devouring food at a pace no less scarier than mine.

”Alright little man! You’re on!”

The challenge was accepted, and the race was on!

.......

.......

”No... no more.... Need.... Rest...”

”Uggggghhhh..... Lucien... dying.....”

me and the little guy got so into it we’d ended up falling flat on our backs, stomachs bloated and in delicious pain.

”We told you guys to slow down, but you wouldn’t listen.”

””Ugghhhhh...””

”And you Dante! You should be ashamed of yourself, what’s with dragging an eating competition with a child?”

””Ugghhhhh....””

”And you Lucien, you should stop following this guy’s footsteps, he’ll spoil you.”

””Uggggghhh....””

”Umm, Melissa, don’t you think we should help them first before you go off on them like that?” Cara, sweet baby Cara, always to my rescue.

I was almost smiling until Mel’s words made my heart chill,

”No! No one is helping them out. Let them sit in their own bad decisions, maybe that’ll teach them a lesson.”

””Ugggghhhhhhhh!!!!””

......

”Haaa.... Thank you Mira, you’re such an angel, unlike some people!” I shot Melissa an angry glare as I drank down the water Mira had fetched for us.

The evil woman merely glared back and shrugged me off.

”Big sis... savior... big sis.. nice... ughh... too much food...” the little guy was still traumatized by the whole event as he lay face down on the table.

”Alright little man, I think it’s time you retire for the day.” The demoness, Hope, approached gently, as she lifted the unconscious child, resting his head on her shoulders.

Snoooooree....

The sounds of soft snoring confirmed that the kid had eaten himself unconscious indeed.

”Everyone, I am truly grateful for your hospitality, and I promise, one day, I’ll make it up to you.” She bowed her head in gratitude.

”Don’t be like that, hope.” Khalifa.

”She’s right. You can consider us friends, and there’s no such thing as thanks between friends.” Melissa.

”Just go get some rest, after what you’ve been through, you more than deserve it.” Mira.

The demoness stood, her eyes scanning everyone within the room, lingering a few moments on my face down figure, before she spoke once more,

”I do not have the words to describe how much this means to me. But I just want you girls to know that I’m forever in your debt.” Saying so, she bowed once more before turning around, exiting the room and heading towards her assigned room to rest.

”Mmm... goodnight... big brother..” the little man muttered without even bothering to wake up.

An unconscious smile appeared on my face as I muttere back ”goodnight little man.”

Watching both figures disappear upstairs.

.......

”Haaa.... Mother won’t be happy.” Melissa sighed.

”Aunt V?” I asked, curious.

”Yes. When she learns of what happened to that demoness, she’ll be furious.” Melissa shook her head as she came towards me, and sat herself comfortably on my lap, leaning her back against my chest.

”She will? But aunt V hates demons as much as I do.”

”She hates demons, but it doesn’t corrode her rationality, that’s the difference between you two, D.”

”Hey!! I’m rational!”

”Of course you are..” she patted my lap reassuringly, ”the point is, once mother hears of the abuse hope was put Through, of the abuse that all those other women had suffered before they died, blood shall flow like rivers.”

Her words made me realize that maybe I had been ignorant all this while, because, for my own aunt Raven, someone who hates demons just as much, losing her shit over one?

Maybe aunt v had some scars I myself wasn’t aware of yet.

”Guess I’ll have to talk to her.” I concluded quietly.

”Alright ladies,” I stood, Melissa in my arms, ”time for bed.”

”Yea.. mmmmmmmm....” Cara stretched, showing off her sexy figure.

”It is getting pretty late.” Khalifa muttered, looking outside, at the darkening clouds.

”Hold on!” Kaila suddenly interrupted.

”Hmmm?” I turned to her.

”Are we all just going to ignore the elephant in the room?” She asked aloud.

”What are you talking about now?”

”I’m talking about the fact that my sister is no longer pure you bastard!”

”Eyy? How’d you know?” I asked, more curious than bothered.

”I’m her twin! That Carries more than just looking alike you bastard!” She yelled, crossing her arms across her generous chests.

”Huh... well, nice to know, so... sleep?” I asked once more.

”Hey!! We’re not done! Do you know what it means for an abadonian elf to lose her purity when she’s a twin?”

”Oh please! Don’t tell me it’s some buy one get them all package.”

.......

.......

”No.... I can’t be that unlucky...”

”What do you mean unlucky!?” Khalifa asked.

”I mean unlucky because your sister is literally the weapon my enemies have fashioned against me, there’s no way I’m unlucky enough to have gotten involved with her...”

”Uhhh...”

”Ughhhh.... Khalifa... my sweet lovely Khalifa....”

”Hey!! It’s not my fault!! It’s you who couldn’t keep your hands off me!!”

”Haaa... you know what? Whatever... I’m too tired for this shit.”

”Fufufufufu.... Looks like we’re stuck together aren’t we..” Kaila manifested like a ghost beside me, slinging her arm over my shoulders.

”Don’t worry, I know how to untangle myself from situations like these...”

”Fufufufufu.... I can’t wait to find out..” she purred.

I was already having a migraine just thinking about how fucked my life just became, all I wanted now was to sleep and have some rest..

......

......

”This... is not what I meant when I said I wanted to sleep.” I complained as the massive pile of bodies on top of me was making it quite impossible to get any form of sleep.

”Well, deal with it. You should be grateful we’re even letting you take advantage of us.” Kaila.

”Take.. take adavantage... you know what Kaila? Fuck! You!”

”I might consider letting you if you ask nicely...”

”Don’t tempt me now, you won’t like the outcome..”

”Ahem!” Khalifa coughed roughly.

”If you guys are done flirting, some of us would actually like to sleep..” she shoved her face into my nape as she bit me gently..

”Fine... but this is the last time!! This is NOT!! Going to be a recurring thing.”

Done saying my piece, I closed my eyes, praying that this time, I actually get some sleep.

....

....

”Haaa... I should’ve known better...” I sighed as I rubbed my puffed up eyes.

Just as expected, I was unable to get any sleep last night.

The over abundance of stimulation made it so any thoughts I had of getting through that mess without nefarious thoughts was swiftly discarded.

And now, here I was, sleepy and tired, about to go through my system logs once more, trying to see just how far I’d come from the demon continent expedition.

”Haaa... I guess it’s like they say indeed.”

”The grind never stops...” I sighed once more before sitting down cross legged in the training room floor, closing my eyes softly as I called out in my mind,

”System.”
